I was going to this yard with my father since I was a kid even before they got bought out, now this…read moreplace is awful, staff is very unfriendly and they absolutely need to know what car/part your after before even stepping into the yard, they have a whole other section of cars that you can get stuff from but you MUST tell them what part you need from what car before even knowing the car is in there (there's no list anywhere, and there's a giant fence blocking your view). about a month ago I was trying to get a spoiler off a z32 and I was told if I want the wing now I have to get the whole trunk (their reason being "if I only take the wing rain will get in and it will ruin the interior making it hard for other people to get stuff")...umm yeah if I take the whole trunk then water will definitely get in bud...the staff almost hates you for just even being there. iv been told by someone in the yard that they literally slide the old dude with white hair some money to let him know when good stuff gets there so he can resell...cmon bro im just trying to put together my car. they charge up the wazoo now to say the least, almost not worth in some case's. I was buying a throttle Body cover (thing of plastic) and mirror Controls...it took this lady 10 minutes of clicking before giving me a price on it when it used to just be "yeah I'll take 20 bucks for everything" unfortunately it's one of the last remaining do it yourself car scrap yards so I have to begrudgingly shop their sometimes but I'd rather not give them the business.

I had a great experience at AAA Auto Wrecking…read more I originally stopped at the neighboring yard (Budget Auto Wrecking) at just before 5PM, only to be told, "Sorry we're closed..." I asked them what time their neighbor, AAA, closed and was happy to find out that AAA was open for another 30 minutes... Great! When I entered at AAA, I was helped by James, who I would say must be one of their best employees. He quoted me a price for the door glass that I was looking for that was a little higher than what I had been quoted by Budget over the phone, but he was willing to adjust the price to match. Although it was nearing closing time, James was more than willing to take me to the exact location where the Hyundai I needed to find would be, and was extremely helpful in getting the window out of the car. For me, on my own, that would have been especially difficult since the electric window was rolled up. He had a drill battery for moving it up and down as needed. I have never known of a wrecking yard where the employees help the customer so much to get the part they need out - without charging more. As I understand it, Budget was one of those...so it was a blessing in disguise that they closed earlier. In the end, I was out of there just before AAA's 5:30 PM closing time. Thanks again James! So overall, I would highly recommend AAA Auto Wrecking.

Big Waste of Time. My first time to a pick and pulll yard and I was really let down by this place…read more I got off work early to get there before they closed and even called ahead of time to confirm they had the vehicle I needed. They said they did. I show up, talked to the front desk and waited to talk to a rep. The old man I talked to had leather wrinkled skin with not one bit of enthusiasm or empathy for me explaining it was my first time. I saw him being short to the customer in front of me. Someone needs to get this grumpy guy out from behind the desk. Anyways, he tells me they don't have my Lexus Rx but apparently the part I needed was compatible on a Highlander. So he points me in the direction at the end of the lot to find the vehicle by myself. I knew better than to try my luck asking for someone to walk me out. I go, I look, I can't find the white Toyota he showed me a picture proving they had. I find another Highlander but it's not the same year, neither has the same part on it. I call the front desk to get a better understanding instead of walking back with all my tools to do so... they answer and put me on a 12 minute hold before I hung up the phone. I stand puzzled and soon find a lot forklift driver to help me out. Surprisingly he was very patient and helpful with my questions. That was a relief. He tells me the car I'm looking for isn't in the lot because it's new and needed to be staged. He tells me ten minutes but i waited in the location with the other highlanders thinking he would bring the new one to me in ten minutes. Well it took me 25 minutes to find him bring it in to the front of the lot. Again the caliper on the Toyota did not match the one on my Lexus and I wasn't going to risk paying for a part that is said to be compatible. What should have been a successful 1.5 hr trip turning into 3.5 hour let down. I don't like leaving reviews but because I've already wasted so much time what more is a deserving review of this place. Fix your front office! I will say this review probably won't matter because they do well from an operation standpoint by having a large lot and wide selection however I'm still going to be bitter, leave this review and try my luck with other places.

Not only where they more affordable than a few other salvage yards Viktoriya took the time to locate a company that would ship to Alaska and one item was fragile, not only did they send it, but it was packed extremely well and arrived with no damage at all. I did a FB marketplace search and saw that this place has some wrecked vehicles like mine. I asked my spouse to come here with me. Make sure you bring your tools because I know I wouldn't have. Don't worry though, it does look like they let you rent the tools for a reasonable price if you didn't bring your own. Upon entering the establishment, you will need to tell the staff what type of vehicle you're looking for and they will tell you where it can be found. How cool is that? You will then proceed to checking in, in their old school bind with your name, signature and date. Anyways I found what I was looking for and then some! So I was pretty satisfied with the price, service, and what I got. I would totally recommend this place.

2 minutes ago New I…read moreasked Curtis to diagnose my car and it took him about 2 minutes to tell me it needs a clutch. When I came to pick up my car after him having it for almost 2 weeks, he told me I have to pump the clutch twice to shift it. He didn't fixed my car after paying $1,374 CASH because it was the same as it was before he touched it. I myself figured out it was the clutch pedal assembly that was cracked and it just needed to be welded. So now it's fixed except I kept hearing a pop sound in front end so I jacked up the wheel and literally shook my whole wheel. I reached my arm around the wheel and pulled my tie rod off with my bare hand. Another mile down the road I woulda wrecked! Of course he won't respond to me at all.

I had previously had some work done through insurance at another shop and wanted to add fixing the rust spot, but that shop refused the work and said they didn't want to deal with rust. When I first contacted Raley's, they said that they were booked six months out. But then he asked a few more questions and determined that the work I needed done would be a quick job for him to complete. We set a time for an estimate which was in the evening so I did not have to take time off from work. This is a small business and is located at the owner's property between Sumner and Orting. I was happy to give my business to a locally owned small business. The wife and husband operate the business together. Heather was very good at communicating with me and scheduling was flexible. They allowed me to drop my truck off in the evening on a Sunday so again, I did not have to take time off from work. I really appreciate that flexibility. The estimate was very good and he was also able to install a bumper that my husband bought and wasn't able to install. I was extremely happy with the price and the quality of work. The entire process was stress free and I was so happy to get this problem taken care of. I highly recommend Raley's for quality of work, the price, the communication, the flexibility and the fact that supporting their business is supporting a local family business. I will definitely use this shop in the future if I need auto body work done.

Then it was the transmission. We tried contacting him and got zero response. At this time the truck has cost us in repairs more than we paid 6,000.00 when we purchased the truck he lied to us and told us that they had just put new work into it and that it was n great running condition. We not long afterwards found out via another mechanic that the work we were going to do on our other truck was in no way necessary. It was the owner himself who lied and ripped us off. Now we wonder how many times he over did or overcharged us over the years.

BEWARE!!!!!! Horrible customer service. this guy charged…read more$160 to come out and diagnose my RV. He ask that we send him the license plate number and VIN number. we sent to him then crickets!(No response). We called him several times to get the estimate on fixing it and I got no answer from phone calls or voice mails. We don't have $160 to throw away but I guess lesson learned. We are people of color and I truly believe once he saw us he didn't want to do business. So Mr. Mobile Mechanic the only color you should look at is the color of money. which you won't get anymore from us. Thanks for nothing!!!!!
