Brandon took a look and said he could get it done today. His quote was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the earlier quote I had received elsewhere. As I was trying to load Uber on my phone, he asked if I needed a loaner car. Yet another problem solved! The repair was done well within the time frame they gave me, and I had my car back that same afternoon. Charges matched the initial quote. Brandon followed up with a text three days later, asking if everything was working right. I couldn't be more satisfied. I will be back when the need arises.

I didn't make a big deal about that since the underlying issue wasn't addressed -- but when I got home, I noticed my hubcaps hadn't even been removed. That really made me question whether any work was actually performed at all. Between the high pricing, the ineffective "fix," and the suspicion that my car may have just sat in the shop while I still paid over $100, I will not be returning here. Based on the fact that my daughter's car was in for a coolant leak, the mechanic quickly identified the issue - and based on my research in online forums, a very common issue with this model. I immediately noticed that the waiting room area was very clean & tidy, and the shop bays were well organized. We were greeted at the desk by a very friendly office manager, who took down all the necessary details very efficiently. Once the parts were delivered, he quickly replaced the failed part, and offered to perform needed system service for the cost of parts, since the engine was already dismantled at that level. We got the car back clean & tidy, and the quality of repair was immediately apparent. The shop rate we were billed for was very competitive, as well. It's such a relief to be dealing with a knowledgeable, honest mechanic again; I will definitely take all my business here.

When I met with John to pick the car up he simply handed me my keys and said he wasn't going to charge me for any of the work performed due to the shops inability to correct a new starting issue with the vehicle he suggested that it runs fine and starts perfect most the time, so maybe I just drive it. Suggested I could take it to another shop and diagnose what's wrong with it but really it wasn't a big runability issue. So now I'm thinking what the heck did you do to my car, so I took it to GM in Auburn and paid for diagnosis. John expects that I should be happy with the fact I didn't have to pay for any of the work that he performed on the vehicle. In his mind evidently future repairs which are substantial plus the car I had to rent because this was my daily is all on me, not his problem. Now my car sits in the GM backlot waiting for a camshaft that is backordered for a month or two​. What they found was an absolute shocker.. John's shop had broken the exhaust camshaft and then repaired it with what looks to be 5-minute epoxy.. 5 MINUTE EPOXY!

Had exhaust leak. Dealership told me replacing exhaust system with OEM was not worth the cost and I…read moreshould go to a muffler shop to see if it can be repaired. Topgun said there were too many leaks to repair but I got a quote for custom exhaust. Also shocks and struts were recommended because I had very minimal wear of original shocks/struts and recommended I get them done together for a discount. The new exhaust caused a check engine light and I had to go back to topgun to have that cleared. Welds on the custom exhaust are the worst looking welds I have ever seen and 6 months later I am already having leaks. The sway bar was not reconnected properly and broke (had another shop fix that). The shocks and struts were so cheap that they are already falling apart. Prices are cheap but so is the quality.
