If there was a zero star option, I would have pick that. Do not trust these individuals, they will take your money and not take responsibility for the work they do. They are scammers. Edit: This is my reply to the store's comment below. My husband tried to consult with you all at your shop and your employees did not want to take responsibility for the work they provided. After telling him that the newest employee was the one that worked on the car.... We simply wanted a refund because the car is in worse shape than when it arrived but your employees wanted to argue instead of help so we will not contact you guys again unless you plan to give us our money back. I'm not sure why, but there really isn't a culture of helpfulness there. Scheduling is arbitrary--maybe you schedule an oil change for 2pm on a Tuesday (or whenever). Buddy, you will be waiting FOREVER for them to even get to your vehicle. And then it'll take FOREVER to actually do the service. And then a sullen mechanic who doesn't enjoy people-ing and I'll toss some papers and some keys on the counter without a word. It's fine that a mechanic doesn't particularly want to talk to customers. I get it. Other staff are ostensibly present to handle these human vs shop interactions, but usually they're not. And when they are there, what you'll get is a big helping of "tough luck" or a story about work you need done on your car and scoffing indifference if you refuse. They've repeatedly been unable to help me in a timely manner, and I am not alone. I don't know why these folks don't care... in general... they just seem ornery and apathetic. So. Avoid this place. Unless they undergo a massive transformation. Until then, this place will just make your soul tired. read more

James and his team went way beyond to get my vehicle repaired and back on road. Had brake issues and car arrived via tow truck 1-hour before closing time. He and two of his professional team members worked 90 minutes after closing time to get me back on the road. I was from out of town and no hotels were available due to ball game being in town. I've been coming here for years. They beat all other prices, fast and reliable. I would highly recommend this place.

Used to be a decent place. Went to do alignment on my car and 2 replace tires. Was charged $500 at first, then when I asked to break it down they lowered it to $350. Then I checked my car and my steering wheel is still at an angle. After confronting them they admitted to not doing the alignment and offered a $50 refund which lowered it to $300. $200 for the new tires, fine, but $100 for putting on tires? They refused to give any compensation. Crooks with no remorse. read more

As it turns out, the issue was related to a recall that we had just received and the part, according to the Ford customer service line, was unavailable at this time. Roger made several calls, and due to his experience in the industry was able to track down the part enabling them to complete the repairs in a timely fashion at a competitive price. I bought a groupon which covers oil change, tire rotation and break check. I was skeptical because I've heard so many bad things about chain auto shops especially Precision Tune Auto Care but I thought I give them a chance since it was a pretty good deal. I went in after talking to the manager (Amy) and she sounded very knowledgeable and nice. In addition to oil change and tire rotation I also asked for state inspection and alignment and this is where I REGRET so much for coming this shop. First they tell me back one of the break lights went out and they need to change the light bulb in order to pass the inspection. I didn't think it was a big deal so I told them to change it. 10 mins later they come back to tell me the inner tie rod needs to be replaced in order for them to do the alignment which would cost another $270. I told them I'll think about it. I went to another shop to get second opinion and they told me tie rod is just fine and doesn't need to be replaced not only that I found out the back light was still out they never replaced it. Please learn from my mistake and DO NOT go to this shop they will lie, cheat and steal. I'm pretty sure the guy who wrote a comment is either a family member or he works there. I wouldn't even go there even if they would offer to do everything for free. read more

I am giving them 3 starts because they were able to get my oil change and inspection done on a busy Saturday instead of turning me Away. However, I am only giving them 3 stars because i feel their customer service is subpar. I called Wednesday asking if i could drop my car off Friday evening for an inspection and oil change on Saturday. I dropped it off and picked it up while they were closed so I did not have a face to face chat with them regarding my failed inspection. Upon calling in on Monday to clarify why it failed, they made it seem like I was inconveniencing them to explain to me what was wrong. It was stated "take a mechanic the piece of paper you have, they will know what to do" . I feel that if a repair is quoted to be $1300 I deserve a full explanation; maybe not everyone wants to understand exactly what is wrong but I did and I was not called back to explain further. I use to hate going to any car place because it would be a uncomfortable service disaster but crystal has changed that for me. The customer service is terrible. The shop manager (Dean), has horrid people skills and only wants to up-sell you on everything. They will find anything to try an get more money from you, and then give you an attitude and be extremely belittling and snotty with you if you're not willing to go their way. The wait time sometimes is extremely outrageous and then the prices are just off the wall. And since this new "manager" took over for the old manager, it has gone down hill. They tell you a part you have in hand and are inquiring about, doesn't exist, "no such size or part exists" and then tell you you don't know what you're talking about. The manager and mechanics stand in shop where customers can hear and talk about other employees. The last two times I was there were absolutely terrible and I would NOT recommend them to anyone ever again read more

Do not take your vehicle there for inspections. We took our truck there a few years ago and they failed it for tie rod ends. We took it to a different garage and all it needed was windshield wipers. This week, different truck, short on time so my husband decided to give them another chance and guess what! Failed due to tie rod! I have noticed a lot of comments that theirs were failed due to the same issue! Sounds dishonest to me!!! read more

This was my first experience and it was an amazing one! My daughter's car had a problem while we were visiting . We had an extended warranty on it and precision auto care came up as a service center. We went on Saturday and talked to Tim about it. He said they could take care of our issue on Monday . On Monday Dean was my contact and he really helped with my warranty. He knew my daughter needed her car and he communicated with me and the warranty company several times. He went above and beyond to get her car back the same day. We felt like we were a main priority and I think they make all customers feel this way. They are friendly, courteous, customer oriented, and fair with pricing. Another great warranty story. Our daughter was visiting a friend at JMU from her college in Greensboro NC when the front axel of her Jeep Wrangler came apart in the casing. It was Veterans Day, so most mechanics were closed. I believe Dean at Precision Tune Auto Care stayed open a little after hours so our daughter could get her friends car, come back and get what she needed out of her Jeep. Our daughter told Dean she had a warranty, but the warranty company was not available that day. Dean, who clearly has delt with warranty work before, had an assement preformed and was ready for us when we called. The warranty company wanted to put in a remanufactured front end and would not cover the entire price. Dean found a brand new front end for less then the remanufactured parts. He helped us deal with the warranty company, kept me informed throughout the process and had it ready for our daughter to come home for Thanksgiving. I followed her home 3 1/2 hours at highway speeds without a hitch. I highly recommend this shop. They were there for our daughter when she was running out of options and followed through to the end. read more

Took my van in for a state inspection. They failed it saying it needed a break light and a front tie-rod. And they offered to perform the repairs. I took my van to CC Rosens for the repairs. First off, the break lights are fine. Second, the tie-rod doesn't need repair. The mechanic, Tim, took me out into the garage and showed me the tie-rod. "It's allowed up to 1/4" of play", he said. But I could see it was only half, 1/8", of that. So I paid CC Rosens $16 to reinspect my van and saved myself $300. read more
