I agreed and they said it would be ready by 11a/12p on Tuesday. At 1pm I hadn't heard from them so I called and they said the tires hadn't come yet (they did not tell me they didn't have the tires), but the tires would be there any minute and the car would be ready today. I called again at 330pm and they said the tires hadn't come and it wouldn't be ready until the following day. On Wednesday at 12pm, I called again and they said they were putting the tires on now and it would be about 45 minutes and stated I would get a text when the car was ready. At 2:00, I hadn't heard anything so I called again. They said the tires were on and they were waiting for a balance machine. I informed them I'd be in at 3pm to pick up my car and it needed to be ready. At 3pm I arrived at the station and they hadn't even started putting the tires on. I waited in the waiting room until 330 when it was finally done. It took 3 days for them to put on two tires, and they lied to me about its progress every step of the way. At approximately 2:05pm on Wednesday I received a notification through the Kia Access App that the theft alarm was activated. When I picked up my car and took it home I noticed that there was clear visible damage where it appeared as though someone used something to attempt to break into my vehicle. I confronted the station about it and they apologized and stated they would pay for the damages. It has been 3 weeks and they have not issued me a refund or paid for the damages despite me following up consistently. Do not take your car here!

I dropped my vehicle off and within an hour, the inspection was done! Majeed's was incredibly thorough. They were transparent with their findings and explained the issues with the car in a way that I understood (even went so far as to take videos for me to see the damage for myself). Majeed's also listed out all of the recommended repairs and gave an incredibly fair price. After paying $1200 for these services, the next time we tried to start the truck, the battery was dead. Turns out they never replaced the battery. We took it back and they did. Then a month later the oil light came on. We brought it to another mechanic who told us there was no oil in the truck, and the oil filter had not been replaced. They also never fixed the other minor issues we asked them to look at. When we went back to complain, they were very indignant, and only begrudgingly refunded part of our money. My advice is to avoid this place at all costs. They messed up our friends car when we went in for an oil change and inspection. They have terrible quality control.

Most recently, I brought in my wife's Subaru for tires, an oil change, and a noise diagnosis. The tires were installed, but the oil change and diagnostic were completely missed. I was told it "wasn't on the work order" and asked to bring the car back. That's a basic process failure. My son's civic was overheating so I brought it into Route 11 to get checked out. I let them know…read morespecifically what diagnostics had been run at a previous shop before my son left for JMU, but they said they had to run (and charge) for their own diagnostics. I get that, so I agreed with the assumption they could resolve the issue. After review, they advised me the wrong coolant was in the car (which I have trouble believing because I've always bought the same coolant and never had an issue), they advised a coolant flush was needed, they said the fans were not working, and they let me know that there was an unrelated power steering leak. Additionally, they recommended I replace the upper and lower radiator hose. They said these were not an issue, but it was probably about time. I agreed to let them do everything except the upper and lower hose being they said they were fine and not leaking. I also agreed to a dye test which included putting dye in the power steering so they could find a leak. All of this was to the tune of roughly $1,000. A few days later they said it was ready and my son picked it up. I asked him what they said about the dye test and he said they did not say anything about. I called the shop and was told, oh yeah, he should bring it back in a few days so we can see if the dye is leaking. Unfortunately, I only found out about this because I called back in. Then a few days later the car was overheating again. My son takes it back and we are told the issue is the upper and lower radiator hoses. I asked how they were fine a few days ago when they were just a "recommendations" (that I declined), but now they are the root cause of the issue. They told me they watched it and now they see after it's been on a long time the hoses swell and leak. The explanation did not sit right with me, but I'm hours away and my 18 year old son needs his car so I let them do it for another $350. However, unfortunately again, my son drives 4 hours home a few days later and the car overheats. The shop texted me and called me that day asking how it was going and wanting me to come back and get some other work done. I responded it wasn't going well and the car was overheating still. I sent them photos of the coolant under the hood, but they stopped responding. I took it to a shop locally and they diagnosed it as a bad thermostat and the car has run smooth since. I wanted to like this shop as my brother recommended them, but unfortunately I cannot recommend them as the customer service is lacking. I'd advise to find a different shop for your car repairs.
