I've been here multiple times with my Tesla. Not all shops will even work on this car, so that's a plus. They've always been friendly, accommodating and professional. They've given me free service on occasion (rotation / flat? don't remember). Full four tire install was no different , even though I purchased through Tire Rack. They got them installed as soon as they were delivered with no issues at all. Been back multiple times and I've got no reason to go anywhere else. read more

I decided to visit Mr. Tire based on the 2 yelp reviews they had. I went on line the day before to schedule an appointment for an oil change for Friday morning at 10. I arrived about 9:30. The guy advised they were a little behind but should be able to get me in approx. 20 mins later. Technically, that was still ahead of my appt. time so that was perfect. I had to wait, since I'm visiting from out of town. The wait was maybe 30 minutes. The customer service here was wonderful. The price seemed comparable to what I would pay at the Acura dealer. The only issue For me was the fact they didn't put air in the tires. Most Mr. Tires offer this as a free service even if they don't service your car. Other places do it as a courtesy in addition to topping off fluids. That's was a bit disappointing. Aside from the above, I would return if i needed this service again while visiting. My car needed a tire rotation and some air in the tires. The mechanic called me and started cursing at me saying that he wouldn't do anything on my car unless he replaced the oil. I went ahead and got the oil replaced and the tires rotated. When I picked the car up the car was squeaking and smelled terrible. I told the manager this who called in the mechanic who told me "my brakes were fu**ed" and had 2 weeks left until my car would crash. I asked why they didnt tell me this before I left and they didn't answer. Went somewhere else and had the brakes inspected and they said I have more than half the brake pad left, more than 10-15000 miles left on the brakes and the mechanic was lying. Terrible shop don't recommend. read more

Over the last couple of months, I have has several random issues with my car. I can say without hesitation that the guys who work at Mr. Tire have been heaven sent. They take the time to explain what is going on, present me with all options available, and suggest what would be best AND most cost efficient. Most places won't do that. On top of all of the help they've given me, their customer service is second to none. They are quick, friendly, and quite hilarious. I am grateful to have a shop that I can come to and trust that they are going to to excellent work without the fear of being ripped off. So grateful for them and everything they've done. UPDATE: I returned two weeks later because my check airbag pressure light had been on ever since I got my car deep cleaned (the person took out the chairs). I was extremely concerned because the light had been on for a couple of weeks but that day an accident could have happened. When I took it in to the shop, I was expecting them to maybe look at it (because they had a lot of cars they were working on already), let me know how much this was going to cost, and then wish me the best of luck but no - that's did not happen. Instead, the two guys who work in the front stopped what they were doing and spent THIRTY minutes helping me figure out what was wrong with my car. Thirty minutes. While they were checking, they cracked a couple of jokes which put me in a much better mood and they also charged my battery which was on the verge of dying. Lo and behold, the person who had cleaned my car didn't snap one part of my chair back in all the way. Because of this, my seat felt no pressure on it and it was extremely likely that my air bags wouldn't have deployed. Am I being dramatic when I say they possibly saved my life? No. Will I go to anyone else while I live in Harrisonburg or Rockingham county? Absolutely not. I promise you I'm not being paid or even receiving a discount on future/current/past services to write this review. I'm writing this because I am continuously blown away by their customer service, the excellence they put into their work, and how they've made me feel like I have a safe group of people to come to whenever my car (and thus I) and in distress. Be very very careful with these guys!!! I took my car in to have the radiator replaced and a tune up. They replaced to radiator, used the old hoses which eventually blew and did not do a tune up even though I had paid for!! I fought with the manager to get the work done but car sat there for 2 weeks before I picked it up and went elsewhere. The manager in untrustworthy!! read more

Came in to Mount tires on my brand new bronco, shop mounted the tires, I paid, and walked up to my bronco with disbelief. The shop scratched up and damaged two rims, all 5 rims were dirty and scuffed. I asked the shop to take a look, they all walked around the bronco, wiped the rims and said hmmm we don't know what happened, but most of the scuffs came off. I told them there was no scratches on it and showed them pictures of my rims before they put it in the shop. The shop did admit that the rims were in pristine condition on the lift but couldn't explain how the rims got damaged. They told me this was expected going into a shop and to take it up to corporate. They should have made me sign a waiver saying they will scratch up my rims. Before leaving I told the manager to pull up surveillance camera and she said they don't have any.. what a joke! Called corporate and waiting on them to call me back. Stay away from this place! Walmart would have done a better job. read more

We stopped in with a flat tire. They told us it was 2 minutes to closing and sorry. They said they could give us air to get to Firestone down the street. Our tire was not holding air. We had filled it 5 minutes prior. I sure hope I don't ruin my rim now. And it turned out Firestone was closed anyway. It was a snowy day. I hope karma bites y'all read more

Ugh. Another oil change provider that I will not be going to again. Does anyone know why finding an honest, fair-priced, quality oil change provider is so hard? I've been taking my '01 Nissan here for 2 years and never had any issues. I recently changed cars to a newer Chevy and got completely ripped off by this place the other day. I scheduled a normal oil change, they said they would take care of it and I gave over the keys and 30 minutes later I was paying $90 for a standard oil change. I was told that full synthetic oil was used and that's why the charge was high. I never asked for synthetic oil and was never asked if I was okay with them switching from standard oil to synthetic. I was told that they would give me a partial refund as they "assumed" I was okay with the change. It's been over a week and I still have not received that "partial refund". Won't be returning here again for a $90 oil change that I didn't ask for, that's for sure. read more

My car was towed there. The manager came out and diagnosed the problem as a bad water pump.They replaced the water pump. Problem was the same if not worse. They closed for the day (Saturday) and told us to come back Monday and the car was OK to drive to our campsite in Shenandoah, It was not! On Monday they said it would only take about 5 minutes to fix it and we were there almost all day while they tried to find out why their fix would not work. They finally told us they did not know what was wrong and we should take the car to a Jeep dealer for proper diagnosis. We paid them $742.71 to repair a car which they did not repair. After being towed to a Jeep dealer in PA we were told that the problem was either a burned valve or a bad cylinder. More diagnosis would involve tearing the engine down. A new engine was recommended . They should refund the money I paid for a "repair" that did not fix the problem. read more
