Sexist and bad repair! If I could give 0 I would.. Charged me $20 for a tire that didn't even hold for 2 mins. Bad attitudes, bad management. On top of all of that they treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about when giving them answers about my car. The manager even said "I'll back out your car for you not that I don't trust you" but clearly I didn't let him. Ridiculous. Precision Tune Auto Care is open!! I recently moved here a month or so ago and needed an oil change. After calling several dealerships and mechanics, nothing was available. I didn't want to go to Take5 or Valvoline. I found this place online and gave them a call. I got an immediate response and decided to try it! I honestly think this was just the same amount of time as going to a "quick" oil change place. I sat inside and waited. The chairs were super comfy which is a huge plus. The staff here were incredibly friendly and upfront. I will most definitely be coming back here in the future! Overall, it was quick, and they have VERY competitive prices!! read more

I am so pleased with my experience at this auto shop. After having my car at another garage on 3 separate occasions my repairs kept going up in cost. The final time I was there I was told I needed a new air compressor at the tune of $1800. This after having spent $1200, $700 and $500 during my 3 visits. I felt something was off. Anyway, I spoke to several shops and the prices were just as high. I spoke to Leon at Precision Tune and he gave me a much lower price. I did more checking at other garages and no one was close. I called back to Precision Tune, a week later, and spoke to Andrew. I was given the same estimate that Leon gave me so I scheduled an appointment for today. I received a call from Andrew early afternoon and was told the wrong part was in the box. The best news he gave me was the compressor wasn't even connected. That's why the compressor wouldn't engage! Duh!! So PT hooked up the compressor, filled the freon. Guess what? Cold air blowing. AC works just fine. Not only did they repair the mistakes from another garage but delivered the car to my daughter at school since they would be closed before she could pick up my car. I have never had a garage do that for me. In closing, I highly recommend the Precision Tune on JFK. They are reliable and honest. They go above and beyond for great customer service. I LOVE the guys here at Precision Tune! They are awesome. Every time I've gone in with a concern they have addressed it and even helped me out with things to watch out for in the future. It is clear they want to help any way they can and most importantly I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off. I needed to get an oil change fast for my ford focus and wasn't pleased with my previous service somewhere else so I pulled into Precision. These guys were great! No appt. necessary and I was literally in and out w/i 15 min! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The waiting room was a bit dirty-what car service place isn't?- but it was cool, the seating was comfortable, it had a tv, coffee and current magazines. I am in town for business when my power steering went bad on my car, I read some reviews about PTAC, they were close and open on Saturday. The manger Dave Austin helped me and was very professional, helpful and customer orientated. We talked off and on through out the time I was there. They were able to fix everything that day and were very upfront about what needed fixed, why and why the parts failed. I am a home mechanic and it was nice to see a mechanic not try and scam you out of your money. Of course it was more money than what I could have done it for, but they are a business. Considering that, the prices were fair and the mechanic was was interactive with me as well. I also liked that they showed me and the other customers the parts that needed replaced or replaced soon. Overall I was very happy with the service and would go back again for any work needed when I am in town. read more

I have taken my vehicle here at least three times. Each time something worst happened as a result. I went to get brakes done, now my brake cover is bent and makes a scrubbing/ticking sound including brake fluid leaking causing my brake light to activate. At the same, I had a oil change, now my car is leaking oil on the pavement. I am now going to Discount Tires & Brakes down the street paying 90% less for a guaranteed satisfaction job well done. ***DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!*** If I could give negative starts I would. Let me first say that I've been using this location for years and that I have am driving my car out of town tomorrow. The way I was treated at this location makes me question if the old stigma of woman being taken advantage and treated differently at car service places isn't still an issue. I had pre purchased an oil change from Groupon specifically for this location. Upon arriving at 3:00 I was told that they would not be taking any more customers because all of the technicians had other obligations that they had to attend to. (There was only one other vehicle there.) I was also informed that all the technicians leave at 3:30. After asking the manger about the closing time posted for 4:00 online and the door wasn't accurate he said "I stay until 4:00 but the technicians leave at 3:30." He was rude and acted like I was asking for so huge favor for them to do the work I had already paid for. Once he told me he would not do the work I asked about a refund for the purchase I made and was informed that Precision had nothing to do with Groupon and that they did not issue refunds. He turned away at least three other customers who where leaving when I arrived. The manager suggested that I try calling the location on West Markham to see if they could do it for me but then told me they probably wouldn't. THANK GOODNESS I DIDN'T LISTEN AND CALLED THEM. The manager at the W. Markham location not only told me he could get me in but he also apologized for the way I had been treated at the JFK location. This place was amazing! I rolled in at 5:40 in a panic because my car needed a tune up and wasn't starting right in the middle of a cross country road trip. They took me in even though the repair guy was about to walk out the door and serviced my car really quickly and the man at the front desk even shared some good places to check out for my visit to the Ozarks. First of all, I like the fact I don't have to have an appointment. The staff at this one makes you feel great when you walk in the door, appointment or not. The staff is friendly, professional and fast. I feel they genuinely care about me and the safety of me in my car. This last visit (a week ago) they found a frayed belt that everybody else had overlooked. I was most thankful for that. Plus, they quoted me one price (which I accepted) but it was actually a much lower price, which they informed me of, instead of just ringing up the higher price. Now THAT is great customer service. As I walked out, they said goodbye ad hoped to keep my business. Not a problem. I drove almost 15 miles to get there, while there is another "oil change shop" just down the street from my house. I will never take my car to the location off of Markham. The guy at the front desk is rude and has horrible customer service skills. Their main motive is to get more money out of you versus fixing your car. After the 3rd time of getting my oil changed there, I vowed to never go again. Three strikes and you're out!! Today, I went to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed (great customer service) and they wouldn't even change the oil because Precision allowed the plug to become so worn down they didn't want to be liable for any further damage to my car when trying to remove the plug. Precision's excuse was normal wear and tear. My question is, if you noticed it needed to be changed...why didn't you change the plug? Everything that cost money to replace, you tell me about that? Why did I have to come back to your shop to discuss a plug needing to be replaced? The guy at the front desk didn't even want to talk to me because I came in 5 mins pass closing (I'll admit I didn't know they were closed) yet there were customers there and I literally had to insist he speak to me regarding something so minor. When I walked in he stated, we're closed and noted how the open light was off without asking me how he could help me. He could have asked what I needed before attempting to redirect me out the door. He reluctantly gave me the $1 plug (which he had a box conveniently stored behind the front counter) and offered to change my oil on Monday at my expense. No, thank you! You'll never get my service there again. I don't appreciate anyone being rude to me at my expense. read more
