Staff and Dr. Bhanot have been amazing since the start. I got pregnant end of December but my previous OBGYN was retiring so I had to find a new one which I'm glad I went with Dr Bhanot. With this being my second pregnancy, I had some scares in the beginning but Dr Bhanot has been on top of everything and to find out we're blessed to be having twins! I started seeing Dr Bhanot this year due to some menstrual issues. But later in the year, I had an emergent situation requiring immediate attention. Dr Bhanot and her staff were very responsive to my needs, and worked hard to make sure I got all of the tests/ procedures etc required to address my issue as soon as possible. I had never gotten that kind of attention from any doctor from any practice. I mean her and her staff were on top of everything! Not to mention her office is very nice and has a spa sort of vibe. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend Dr. Bhanot's offices for your OBYGN needs. I've visited three times (both in San Jose and Morgan Hill) and was fairly disappointed. To start with the positives, Dr. Bhanot is very friendly and personable, which is nice! Our issues stem with the administrative side of the practice. We've waited for up to 45 minutes after our appointment time to see Dr. Bhanot, and they are not consistent with follow up needs (I.e. they needed me to sign a consent form for a blood test but forgot to give it to me, their receipts are not sufficient for FSA and, when asking for a receipt highlighting the business name, and what the charge was for, they said they would provide it but never did. They do not respond to emails, so if you need something, you'll need to call them. Personally, I'd recommend looking elsewhere! read more

Life changing appointment is an understatement. After seeing a couple of other gynecologists and several Practitioners about my symptoms, I still felt "off". Dr. Bhanot was the only Doctor to get it right! She met me for about 15 minutes and immediately sent me to get an MRI of my brain. She suspected a hormone secreting tumor on my pituitary based on her exam. I had the tumor removed and the symptoms completely went away. I was then able to conceive and have a beautiful family. I see comments about bed side manner, but if caring means sometimes being direct then that's perfectly fine for me. Her directness IS what changed my life. This is the most personal review I will likely ever make. read more

I do not recommend. Staff nice but terrible at returning calls or messages or providing return feedback. I will also say that they are quite loud. My initial experience was pleasant with the doctor but when I had an issue with the way things turned out she denied what I was seeing as well as what my family could see and she told me to go back to whoever I saw before and that she wouldn't do anything to correct the issue. A terrible Dr. Whose warm, jovial personality disappears when you question or think aloud, "Maybe I should get another opinion." She gave her thoughts of my "prognosis" and treatment, through, "her girls" over the phone. They are very loud, so I'm pretty sure the whole office heard it. Why she couldn't have called me herself? It would have taken about the same amount of time it was taking to transmit the conversation we were having. I also noticed, too late, that she had the tendency to over talk me if I had doubts and or questions. She is very empathetic until you question her. Did I mention professionalism? No, because there is none. Sitting in the waiting room, I and everyone else can hear their ("her girls") gossip, and all personal information as they speak to patients over the phone. This Dr. should prob just open a med spa since she only cares about profit and is horrible at her job. She is the absolute worst. Myself and my sister had the same experience. She was not empathetic or at the very least professional. She put me on the wrong medication that resulted in horrible side effects. She never once followed up with me after labs which was scary considering i needed extra care after leaving her to basically address everything she neglected. I have an amazing dr now and feel bad for myself and my health that i stuck through it with her after so many bad experiences. Just do yourself a favor and see another doctor. read more

I was a patient for Dr. Bhanot for almost 5 months, and I have never heard a doctor speak so condescendingly to a patient before until this one in particular. I was going through a confusing, hard situation where I needed her to be caring, understanding and informative. On numerous occasions, she made me feel dumb when I asked questions for information she failed to inform me about. There are one or two nurses at the front desk who were incredibly kind and communicative with me, and they honestly made the entire visit. As soon as she walked in, she had this attitude of, "This again?" Not to mention, I had to share with her a particularly traumatic experience I went through, and she discussed it with me as though I was in the wrong or she didn't believe me. There was no empathy, and she just seemed like she was rushing to get out of there. I understand that sometimes, we have a lot to get done. But reading these other reviews of her professionalism and attitude reminded me of how poor these 5 months were. I'm a student in the medical field, so I'm learning exactly how to communicate in patient care. A lot of it is incorporating empathy with education. She lacked both. I had to keep myself educated every time I went in and have the questions ready. We as health care professionals are taught to ask investigative, critical questions to come up with a solution. It seemed that she did not want to try even that. Instead, she went in, checked on me, and got out, leaving me with more questions and problems than when I started. I'm not being harsh either. This was the exact judgmental energy I received from her. Something needs to change because this should not be anybody's experience in OB/GYN. Otherwise, no one would want to go back. read more

I think Dr. Bhanot is knowledgeable and thorough. I'm an older woman who just needs an annual exam to be sure everything is healthy. The only thing I would recommend is, if possible, the scheduled appointment time be honored. I purposely scheduled the first appointment of the day so I would not be seen later because of previous patients arriving late or unforeseen issues. Dr. Bhanot apologized for being late and explained she came straight from working at a hospital's ER. She mentioned she would not be working there any more because of its interfering with her office's scheduled appointments. I was delighted to hear that and will continue to see Dr. Bhanot. read more

I found Dr. Bhanot on yelp. Although some people may not have a good experience with her, everybody's experience is always different... which is why I gave her a shot. I have been going to Dr. Bhanot since I was about 8 weeks pregnant. Appointments were always within 10-15 minutes of scheduled time which I think is good because I've been to doctors that had me wait. Her bedside manner is very warm and inviting. I feel comfortable being honest and telling her everything that's going on in my pregnancy. I always come in with a list of things to report or questions I want to ask and Dr. Bhanot always answers with her knowledgeable repertoire. When I don't understand something, she always explains in detail where I can understand. Staff area friendly and I'm always greeted with a smile. Every time I call with a question, I always get a response from Dr. Bhanot within a day. This is my first pregnancy so I'm happy to have a Dr. who will get back to me within 24 hours. Staff are always fast with paperwork as well. They fax documents in a timely manner and call you to let you know your documents are faxed. I'm happy it worked out with Dr. Bhanot. Alex and Jessica have been very unprofessional, unhelpful receptionists. I have been a client for 5 years now and not ONCE have they ever called me back. They always say "I'll give you a call back" to answer my question and NEVER DO! It is absolutely not okay I have asked 2 questions and have not received a call back or an answer in 10 days. Whenever I call they just say "oh the other receptionist was supposed to do that". Unprofessional and deeply disappointed. Prette I hope you read this and improve your receptionist professionalism and quality. Another thing is they are scamming on billing. I had an extra fee on my bill and when I called to ask why she said "oh yeah it just prints like that but you don't actually owe it". I do not understand why I got no warning about this and I am sure that many people have paid this fee with no warning of the scam that is happening. As for Dr. There was a time I was forced to wait 45 minutes after being on time for my appointment. Completely embarrassed and unclothed on the table. 45 min of wasted time. Then Dr comes in for 5 min and has to leave to the hospital and NEVER COMES BACK. And they had the audacity to try to charge me hundreds of dollars for that appointment. Dr. is also super rushed and never asks questions so if you do go, YOU need to be the one prepared. Save yourself. Find another OB. read more

Dr. Bhanot and her entire team are amazing! I have been a patient there for over 2 years and could not image going anywhere else. I never have to wait long in the waiting room, I'm always greeted with a smile and truly feel welcomed, they know me by my first name (and greet me this way) which makes me feel valued and the staff is extremely responsive to all requests and emails. I even asked the team to email my results of our babies sex to a vendor so we could do a gender reveal and they took care of it for me first thing the next morning and we're genuinely excited for me and my husband. The staff is always accommodating with my schedule and I have never had troubles making appointments. Dr. Bhanot's team is kind, respectful, they always go the extra mile to help me, and on top of all that the care I have and continue to receive today is always top notch. From a doctor/patient relationship, Dr.Bhanot takes the time to explain things going on, gives me the time to ask questions, has great bed side manner, makes my husband feel included at our ultrasound appointments and is invested in my health. I went to Dr Bhanot with my first pregnancy. During all my monthly appointments and check ups, I always chose to have the morning appointments because I had work. Out of all the appointments; there was never once that she WASN'T late, there was quite often that they had to reschedule me when I actually arrived because she was delivering (which is understandable) but every time she had an excuse "my kids baby sitter didn't arrive." Blah blah, but either way, because we were so happy about the pregnancy, we didn't care. My appointments would be at 9am, she'd arrive at 10:30-11am for a 5 minute ultrasound then we were done. But the reason for the poor star rating was when I was at 35 weeks, after taking my urine, the assistant took my blood pressure, and the machine started beeping. She said it was high and wrote it down. Well 10 minutes later, Dr. Bhanot came in, ask the usual questions then said "OK. I'll see you at your next appointment." I then looked at her and said "should I be alarmed that my blood pressure is high?" And she looked at the paper and said "oh shit!" She immediately sent me to the hospital. And what're the odds? I had SEVERE PRECLAMPSIA! And had to be induced and I delivered 3 days later!!! Had I not mentioned it, myself and my baby would've been in big trouble!!! While at the hospital, she kept calling the nurse and insisting on a c-section but the nurse argued with her and encouraged her that I could still deliver vaginally. She did come to visit but made comments like I was a "trouble maker" because I couldn't keep down my blood pressure (I was nervous as hell to give birth so unexpectedly AND for the first time!) The two stars is because ultimately, my daughter was born safely (though premature) but I was so upset at Dr bhanot that I did not even want to return for my 6 week check up. Never want to see her again. I noticed that the quality of her service and attitude towards me began to change when my insurance changed from anthem blue cross mid way to medi-cal. I guess she probably doesn't receive as much. I was very disappointed. Wish I could've enjoyed my first pregnancy experience with a more caring Doctor. I didn't bond with dr bhanot like most should. A Thank god that my daughter and I are safe. Please beware and don't be afraid to speak up if you know something is wrong!! read more

Dr. Bhanot took the time to sit and listen and ask questions, and address my concerns today. She developed an immediate plan to address my main concerns and secured a follow up appointment in 2 weeks so we could discuss and develop a game plan if needed. It is extremely rare, especially today, to find a doctor that actually takes the time to get to know the patient and understand their medical history and concerns. I dreaded going back to the OB/GYN, after not having gone for years. It was surprisingly very easy, informative, painless, and encouraging. I would highly recommend her to anybody that is hesitant, or has any concerns, or just looking for a new great Doctor In addition, her staff was incredibly kind and helpful.. very courteous and not pretentious or rude like most places today. Be prepared to wait at least an hour to be seen, unless you can get in first thing in the AM, then the wait was only about 15 minutes. In addition to the long waits I was also frustrated time and time again, that this Dr. spent no more than 10 mins with me. Unlike my experience with other ObGyns who spend time talking to me and getting to know my history and conerns. I was initially seen for a bacterial infection, which ended up coming back 3 times. When I asked why this kept coming back and what I could do,she had no answer. She said she upped the dosage on the antibiotic and that was her only suggestion. I was so frustrated I went to see another Dr., in San Jose, didn't care about the drive and was more than satisfied. She spent at least 30 minutes with me, most of which were disucssing my concerns and offering a variety of suggestions to rid of the infection. I'm also still dealing with a billing issue from Dr. Bhanot's office. I was given a shot, which she told me was $80, then I got a bill for $170! I spoke to her staff who said they would honor her price, but I got another bill again claiming I still owe a balance. I left a message last week and still haven't gotten a call back. read more

Miracle worker! She solved years of problems in just a few visits. I was sluggish and tired and other issues that weren't getting solved at Kaiser so when I switched insurance carriers, I found Dr. Bhanot and she did bloodwork and made some adjustments to vitamins, medications, etc. I haven't felt this good in years! Dr. Bhanot was my OBGYN for my 3rd child. She was wonderful and very attentive. At the time, I had recently moved to the area and had found out I was pregnant and already a couple months along. I came to her last minute expecting that I was having a miscarriage and expecting to schedule a DNC as I was told and advised by the ER a week prior to seeing her that I was miscarrying and there were no signs of a viable pregnancy. They told me to contact an OB if I had not completely miscarried within one week. After continuing to experience difficulty I scheduled with Dr. Bhanot (really only because she was the only female OBGYN with my insurance that was in Morgan Hill.) I'm glad I decided to give her a chance! Dr. Bhanot suggested first doing an ultrasound to see what was going on and to my surprise I was not loosing the baby and there was a perfectly viable little miracle with a strong heart beat! I'm thankful for Dr. Bhanot's expertise and judgement as I may have had a different outcome had I been seen by another dr. Throughout the entire pregnancy she was helpful n answering any questions I had. She was quick to catch any issues I was experiencing and having throughout the pregnancy. Although it was my 3rd child, it certainly was a VERY different pregnancy and Dr Bhanot and her staff were able to deliver quality care throughout my pregnancy. Yes, there were times where I had to wait quite some time (sometimes up to an hour) however, I did not mind the wait as I knew I was getting good care. I also would want her to rush out and do the same if it was me that needed the emergency care. I see that more as a sign that she takes the time to attend to her patients when they are experiencing difficulty or are suddenly in labor. The wait time was never as a result of other OBGYN's.) I found that if I scheduled in the earlier morning or just after they came back from lunch I never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes. I had a scheduled C-Section and Dr. Bhanot and her team were fabulous! My son is 10mths old now and he is strong, happy and healthy, all thanks to a skilled and uneventful cesarean delivery by Dr. Bhanot! I will continue to see her for ongoing Wellness appointments. I also would most definately recommend Dr. Bhanot to anyone who is looking for an OBGYN. read more

I went to this Dr at the beginning of my pregnancy. I never felt comfortable or welcomed by the front desk staff and I waited a long tome in the room for the dr to finally come in. I was made to feel uneasy about my pregnancy and was sent some hefty bills afterwards. Switched to a new dr about a month later and it's the best decision I could have made. read more

When my son would come with me to my apts everyone would help explain what was going on and helped him get excited about becoming a big brother. I don't know why everyone is downing Dr. Bahnot. She made the scariest time of my life enjoyable and relatively stress-free. She was late a few times, yes, but when you're the one she rushing out of her appoints for because you're in labor, I don't think you really care. I was going through a lot with my family and my baby's dad and she helped me through it all, did all my maternity leave paperwork, and helped me with my adoption paperwork as much as she could. I wound up being a week late, but was in the hospital the night before I had my daughter. She suggested we START inducing labor because I was contracting without feeling it, and she stopped induction as soon as I was more dilated. She's the type of doctor to only give you what you need, and if you need an epidural, she leaves it in and guides you calmly and helpfully through the pushing. I couldn't have asked for a smoother delivery. When I went in for my 5week PP appointment, she explained why I, personally, would benefit or not benefit from each birth control available, and explained which ones had the worst side-effects. She works with you with your insurance to make sure you get continuous care, regardless of your situation. I plan on going to see her until she stops practicing or I move out of the area. I'm very self conscious and she made me relaxed and comfortable. For the most part she's appointment only, but if you really need her, she's more than happy to fit you in, or help you over the phone. Her assistants relay messages promptly and completely. read more

Worst OBGYN ever. Bhanot is not compassionate or empathetic to her patients going through pregnancy and post partum. Very rude doctor. Only cares about getting paid from your insurance. I was 10cm and she did not show up and told the nurse to tell me to stop pushing and to wait for her. Well the baby didn't wait for anyone! Bhanot would not let the on call doctor help me while giving birth bc if the on call doctor did help, then Bhanot wouldn't get paid from my insurance, the on call doc would. After delivery, Bhanot came and checked on me once and it was for five minutes. I had questions/issues after i was home from the hospital and her front desk staff said i could call/text her personal phone and so i did and she straight up told me that this number is only for patients who are about to deliver and to make an appointment. You are just a number to her and she doesn't care about you. All she cares about is $$$ so she can buy more Louis Vuitton purses. I do not recommend you seeing her if you are trying to have a baby! Worst experience. When I was in labor and 8cm dilated, Dr. Bhanot did not come even if the nurse called her multiple times. As a result, I got a C-Section and also had a very BIG incision. Front office was also not nice. Think twice if you want to go with her. read more
