This year--our third year using their services--we were charged nearly double what we paid the previous year. When we questioned the increase, we were told that the prior pricing was not reflective of their standard rates. They did issue a partial refund of around $100, but the situation still raised concerns. Additionally, we were assigned a new tax preparer this year, which made the significant increase in cost even more surprising. Overall, the experience left us feeling uncertain about the consistency and transparency of their pricing and service.
