Is scheduled an appointment at 60 State St. 7th floor, financial district, and had to check in with Security , where my appointment was confirmed, and I was given an identity badge that did not have the TRUHEARING identity.
Arriving at the 7th floor, neither TRUHEARING nor Preferred Hearing were not on the list of companies / businesses on that floor.

When I asked for her business card, it shows her a President of Preferred Hearing.

After a confusing description of suitable aids for me she asked for payment up front. She wanted me to pay for the aids , asking for my credit card information before having a fitting and testing for appropriate use.
I have been using hearing aids for over 50 years, and I have never been asked for payment up front, over $2 500. and before I had an opportunity to see the product, by brand and model, andbe fitted for use.
