Prior to the recent emergency, she was living independently with a friend. The friend is a male and is also elderly. He is a bit of a hoarder and it is now no longer safe for her to be living with him there. Brian and Jacob with Moving with Grace helped us move her out of the hoarder house and into her own apartment at an assisted living facility. The friend knew we were coming with movers at 0830 to move the furniture out. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer. It was so quiet, I thought the house was empty. So, we enter the house and they guys get right to work. Shortly after they had started wrapping up the furniture, the friend, walks out of the bathroom in a night dress!! So weird and creepy considering he knew we were coming. And very mortifying. The house itself is very filthy and disgusting. There is thick dust and clumps of cat hair everywhere!! Brian and Jacob were both very polite and friendly and pretended it was not disgusting. They were professional and worked diligently despite the filth. They wrapped everything up nicely and got everything loaded up quite quickly. At the apartment, they unloaded everything quickly and then helped us to figure out how to place the furniture to get it all to fit! They did a great job and it is well deserved 5 stars!!

We packed all the boxes ourselves, so they were able to move everything that was already packaged, in addition to our furniture. The moving team arrived within the 8-8:30am timeframe that they said that they would. They arrived ready to work, which was much appreciated. They moved everything with care, so there was very little damage to our furniture. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience with Moving with Grace. Their prices are very reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for. I just wish that we also allowed them to help package all of our stuff so we could've saved more time during this busy holiday season.

We had a great experience moving my mother in-law from her home in the Bay Area to an assisted…read moreliving apartment in Rocklin. Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

They were quick without causing damage and we had everything moved to our new home in a day. All of these services were also provided at a very reasonable cost. They also helped pack some stuff, especially the kitchen, that we were unable to pack due to lack of time/energy. The price is fair and competitive and they were able to do it in a day. They also helped disassemble and re-assemble furniture and put everything exactly as we like. The communication was great and they are just great guys in general. We ultimately chose them over other movers also because during the consultation stage, they facetimed with us and discussed quotes after seeing our place during facetime. I think that's important because we had key items we wanted to make sure were safe and they could also see how much stuff we had and prepare the right amount of people and time. I really valued the thoroughness before the move and during the move. We have recommended them to all our friends and will use them for all future moves.

Clearly experienced at navigating multi-floor condo buildings. Our new home has 3 floors. I especially appreciated how they took care to drop each box off at the desired floor and stacked them nearly to reduce space. Price was also the best out of all the other options I had evaluated for our small move. Great value overall. If we ever move again (hopefully not soon lol!), I'd definitely go with OCD Movers again.
