During the project he moved an expensive piece of outdoor furniture and did not move it back after completing it, because of where and how he left it, it ended up being damaged and having to be replaced. I provided all the information to him about the original cost and the cost of replacement (which was less than what I originally paid), explained my attempts to get just parts for it from the manufacturer instead and the video of it being damaged. He never responded to my request for remedy of the damaged furniture when I sent him the proof of price. The rock work was okay. He changed the scope in the middle of the job and didn't finish one section of it, so I got pretty confused on how the final invoice amount was arrived at. From the amount of work and materials we removed from the quote midway through the project to the final product, it didn't seem quite right. Also, he didn't put the landscaping fabric under the edging, so I have a ton of unexpected weed control I have to manage now when the purpose of installing the rock was to be lower / easier maintenance because, again, I have a disability that affects my mobility. He's a hard worker I just wish he would have made things right regarding my damaged property. He told me his insurance doesn't cover wind damage and did not offer any other remedy. If he'd worked with me to replace the furniture that was damaged, I would have given him a higher rating, but as it is, this is my honest opinion of the value, quality and overall customer experience I received. I can't recommend this business at this time and will be letting the division of Yelp that oversees contractor recommendations know as well since I found him through them.

He explained how he would do it, gave me what I considered a reasonable price, and we set up a time. With other companies I've had bent gutters, cracked sidewalks, fence and deck boards. Not with Julio. He and his crew were careful and meticulous. Everything was either handed down or lowered by rope. It was cut up, hauled through the alley, and chipped at the curb. He showed me before and after pictures of the roof. And when they left, my deck and sidewalks were cleaner than when they got here. The whole conversation with getting pricing ($40 for my entire front and back yard), and answering any questions went smoothly. When I first had my lawn mowed by Mow Better Lawnscapes I happened to be home and saw them arrive. Like. A. Machine. I mean, in one smooth movement, I saw three people hopping out of the truck and getting to their equipment. Once they all had their equipment,they knew exactly where to spread out to to finish the job quickly and efficiently. One of them went to my backyard, the other started edging while the other mowed the front lawn. Once they were all finished with that, they hurried to grab the leaf blowers to ensure that my sidewalk and walkways were clear. I have a large enough backyard to be able to fit a 15 foot trampoline and still have room for 5 a side soccer and that backyard and front yard was finished in less than 15 minutes total. These people are hard workers. And though I was planning on getting my own lawnmower and only having that one time job done, I started thinking that it would take me at least an hour to do what these people did in 15 minutes. And my allergies wouldn't like that. I also really wanted to help and ensure that people that worked this hard and did such a great job were able to keep working at least on my lawn.
