After 5 surgeries I am finally home and working with DOT to get full use of my arm back. Madison in the front office was very easy to talk to and she knew exactly what to say to put me at ease and know what to expect each step of the way. The physical therapists have been amazing and even able to come to me in my home when I haven't been able to get to the clinic. From start to finish I've had a great experience and would highly recommend DOT for help with recovering from surgery, injury and to prevent falls like I have.

There is no privacy in the exam/treatment area. There are 4 tables in the area but no screens or dividers for privacy. His table side manner sucks and I wouldn't take my worst enemy there to be seen there.

I finally googled an orthopedic walk-in as we have them at home and I didn't want to get the flu or something else from a standard walk in. I called their number to see if the office close to me had walk in hours and they said no only Manderin office so they took my info to make a patient record for me and I drove over. Got there about 11:15 and they let me know Dr Brown was also seeing scheduled patients so it probably wouldn't be until 1 that I saw him. No problem I had expected a longer wait. They took X-rays right away and then someone did intake on me and back to the lobby I went to wait. About 1230 got called back to the room and he came in about 5 min later. He did some tests on my range of motion and suggested PT two times a week and to heat it and maybe take some Tylenol or Advil. If the pt doesn't improve the situation then they scheduled a follow up with a dr close to my place for 5 weeks out. Still waiting on the call to schedule PT about 15 hours later. Will update the review if I have any issues scheduling that!

I had overheard that he was running about 45 minutes behind from other patients who came in after me and that was really unacceptable. I'm not sure what happened during the day but when he did see me I didn't feel rushed. He took the time to listen to me and examine my thumb to see if there was something wrong with it. I was fitted with a brace, prescribed some NSAIDS, and have a follow-up appointment set for a few weeks away. I'm not sure that I want to come back to this location though. I'll see how my thumb does.
