Each appointment the midwives made sure to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed. My birth and labor were really long due to baby's position and I know if I had been at a hospital I would have ended up with drugs and a c-section which is not at all what I wanted. But the midwives and nurses were there the whole time helping me through it at the birth center and on the phone when I was at home. Even though giving birth in a pandemic is not what I expected. I am so thankful for the MN Birth Center for the opportunity to give birth how as close as how I wanted to during such crazy times.

We have had trouble getting our records from her since the birth was over. We know life goes on. She sent an email saying she attached them, but they weren't attached. After repeated attempts to get them, our next midwife (her mentor) requested them. The requests were ignored. This does not instill confidence in the medical industry, since our awesome family doctor would like to see them and hasn't. Both midwifes we've used required payment in full up front. Well, due to the lack of follow through from both of them after the birth is over, I would strongly recommend, as with all services (I own my own business and live this), put 50% down and 50% upon completion. At least leave something on the table to make sure everything is finished out and both parties are satisfied. It puts you in the game while it holds them accountable. If having a well educated person doing the birthing process was the only concern, it'd be a no-brainer to go with Jenny again!

She always made sure to leave out extra wintergreen mints for me. It's a super nice office. Front desk staff made sure I saw every single available dr incase something happened and I needed to see one of the other Dr's when I went into labor. I thought that was really sweet. They wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable with all the staff. I never had a "smear" before and Raidun was spoon gentle and coaxed me into trusting her and we clicked really well. I couldn't think of any better team than adefris! The level of care I received from the time I found out I was pregnant to the time it came for my emergency c section, I couldn't of had a better experience from Dr. Boeke and Dr. Crepeau. Dr. Boeke was so sweet from every prenatal visit to the final visit of my induction. He wanted to be the one to deliver my son and it so happened to work out that way. When it was time for the dr to come in during labor he grabbed my leg and rubbed it, just reassuring me that everything was going to be ok. And I couldn't thank him enough for that, especially as a first time mom. When it came to my last visit, I actually had tears in my eyes that I wouldn't be seeing him anymore. I had never met such an understanding and compassionate Dr before. I was on a specific medication and they worked with me talking to my prescribing clinic when I was having issues with them upping my dose due to my pregnancy. He always reassured me I was doing just fine and that I'd be a good mother and I really appreciated all the talks he, I and my husband had from start to finish. Needless to say if I have more, I'll be seeing these guys. I love them so much. They're an amazing woman's clinic.

I called the office explained the situation and was connected to the nurse station voice mail. I left a message right around 4pm on a Friday, received a call same day asking me to come in on Monday for labs. Fast forward 3+ months later and I'm still seeing those docs as i'm currently pregnant. I've had several appointments here for lab work, doc visits and ultra sounds. I never have had to wait long in the waiting room or to be seen by a doc. They run a pretty smooth ship. I have had one appointment mix up that the office apologized for, however beyond that I have had no issues. The docs are WONDERFUL! I have seen 2 in the practice and spoke to a 3rd that was on call and have nothing but wonderful things to say about everyone in this office. I would highly recommend this practice.

I have a very unprofessional experience that wasted months of time in getting a diagnosis. I do not…read morerecommend this clinic. The lab didn't want to do my original order, cancelled my appointment, and sent me to another lab without clarifying that they didn't make an appointment, so I wasted an entire morning (fasted) waiting to get in. The office staff was rude and unhelpful when questioning if they had ever received my labs, and left me on my own to deliver my labs, wasting multiple days from when they should've been received. During my second round of labs, the lab tech scolded me multiple times for having "complicated" labs on a Friday, making me feel guilty for being there. Apparently you aren't supposed to have illness on Fridays. There was also a dog running around the lab?????? Seems sanitary. Before I even received all of the labs, I received a call from a nurse telling me to see a natural healer. I questioned if I could get a referral to endocrinology based on my significantly abnormal labs. I was told the doctor "probably" consulted them-- but she didn't know for sure. I asked about my abnormal labs and she also didn't know about them. You'd be better off googling your symptoms and ordering your own labs than being seen at this clinic.
