Throughout my appointment, Dr. Gregonis demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to understanding of pulmonary medicine, coupled with their unwavering her attention to detail, and inspired confidence in her ability to diagnose and treat complex respiratory conditions with precision and empathy. On March 9 of 2020, Dr. Erica Gregonis began her career as chief medical officer at Baptist Health in Richmond. Dr. Gregonis, has served as chief medical officer for Baptist Health Richmond and a physician with Baptist Health Medical Group Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine. I arrived about 15 mins prior to my appointment, I was processed thru and in a room in about 30 mins of my arrival. There were complications with my insurance provider that was beyond the control of the staff, however they worked quickly to resolve what ever the issue was. Dr. Gregonis's clinical acumen is truly impressive, as evidenced by her ability to develop a innovative treatment plan that was tailored to my unique needs. We checked in with about 10 other people. Their process was streamlined and efficient. We were in a room in 1/2 hour. All personal were great but a special shout out to Dr. Smith. I have never seen a doctor with such wonderful manners and concern and compassion. He was funny and had my mom at ease immediately. We both loved him. He walked us to the exit door. After speaking to the billing department, this is their new policy and unfortunately, insurance companies don't cover that charge. Although, this facility charge was 'buried' in all the ppwk i filled out, if they knew this ahead of time, they should have called it out before my appt. They know that patients are only expecting to pay a co-pay. But they waited and sent me a bill for $92.76 a month later when it was too late to do anything.
