Premier Asphalt and Concrete, in our experience, was disappointing after our driveway was poured. During our initial interaction, they were of course responsive. We are, however, disappointed by the lack of responses to inquiries about some visibly poor workmanship at the entry/approach. My husband reached out to Gary a couple of times. He responded to texts but no site visit to address what is poor workmanship. We understood the curing process would take time, however the disappointing workmanship near the entry has not been addressed. For these reasons, we would not recommend and, can't undo our decision to go with a different contractor that did a neighbor's driveway. Very unfortunate since pre-job (contract phase) they're on point. Post job....very disappointing The "splatter" along the edge of the approach is not a good look. This isn't a curing issue, this is poor workmanship that's not going away. Was hoping it would be addressed and possibly correctable so reached out early on. The 2nd pic with straw is nearly 4 weeks later. Again, that's not a curing issue. The opposite side is smooth. That gray messy "splatter" is not good! read more

I recently selected Premier Asphalt and Concrete to remove my previously damaged concrete driveway, sidewalk and porch last week in Powell, OH and replace with new concrete, which was the best decision I have made since I purchased my home. Josh was very polite, considerate and understanding with my ideas of having a driveway, sidewalk and porch that was designed to last years and a vision of architectural layout that no other concrete company in central Ohio was able to match with price, professionalism and skill. No other concrete company in central Ohio was able or willing to complete a sidewalk with flares and a porch that makes it stand out from all other homes in my development. Their finished work increased the value of my home with the design and layout. One of Premier's main project managers, Jordy, was a pleasure to work with, knows every aspect of the installation process and did a phenomenal job with craftsmanship as well as answering any questions I had throughout the process. Another hard worker to mention was Jesús and he was part of the demolition and installment crew who was extremely polite, hard-working and had great attention to detail. This company has a skilled team who are the best in the business. I had zero issues with any process from start to finish and Premier Asphalt and Concrete did an excellent job with brush lines, curves, grading and design layout that most other concrete companies in central Ohio do not focus on specializing nor do they have the experience to do as I have seen many other companies' work throughout my development that did not come close to the craftsmanship of Premier Asphalt and Concrete. The cleanup was impressive in that my yard and area by my home in the road looked as clean when the job was done than before they started. The entire team was extremely responsive to calls, emails and questions throughout the entire process and I have received many compliments from my neighbors of the work done. The care and passion to detail this company has makes me a lifetime customer in that if I ever have a need for additional work to be done for a patio or other area that Premier specializes in, I would absolutely hire Premier Asphalt and Concrete without hesitation. Needed estimate on a driveway expansion - Experienced bad customer service, lack of responses and follow-ups that were promised. Josh (owner) & Ethan (employee) both made promises about getting information and estimates, both failed to respond in timely manner & I had to keep asking for responses & updates. Josh had the wrong information on the job multiple times, when he did actually respond. After lack of responses with updates or info, Josh called me on a Friday and personally assured me that he would submit a zoning request to the city and call me the following week with an update. 3 weeks go by and no response. Then when I contact them about it, admittedly angry about having to repeatedly contact them to remind them to respond back to me, Josh sent me rude text messages and tells me I'm expecting to be "coddled". This is after almost 6 weeks of me trying to get some sort of answer or an estimate! A quick update would have sufficed, but they seem to think it's OK to not bother contacting the customer at all & then act like you're being unreasonable about the lack of information or follow-up. I have emails and text messages to prove all of this, & am not the first to complain about their lack of communication/customer service. read more
