We stopped by around 2:00 PM on a Friday and the store was pretty much empty, so we were able to make the purchase without waiting. Nicko, the employee who helped us, was very friendly and polite, and took the time to clean the car's battery terminals before he installed the battery. We were on our way in under 30 minutes. Could not ask for a better customer experience. Side note: when we called in advance to ensure the battery was in stock, we spoke with a different employee, who was not a very effective communicator--he had a difficult time understanding the make and model of the car the battery needed to fit, although it is a relatively common Lexus RX350. Regardless, after spelling out the car manufacturer's name using the phonetic alphabet two or three times, he was eventually able to figure out what we needed and confirmed the battery was in stock.

About an hour later I got a call from Travis informing me that my phone was 'ready for pickup'; upon arrival he told me there was a problem and the back panel of my screen was cracked. We spent the next hour on the phone with Assurant who only offered to replace my phone for $95 plus tax but Batteries Plus could offer no remediation until the manager Mika was available the next day. Travis cancelled my claim and I went home to process payment for replacement phone with Assurant for a total of $105 after spending an hour on the phone trying to get an answer as to why Assurant and Batteries Plus does not have a process for handling such cases (damages by technicians). I was basically left on my own to find a solution or try to recover the out of pocket money from Batteris Plus. Next morning, I got a call from Mika at Batteries Plus who offered to replace the back panel. However, I already processed a claim and my replacement phone is scheduled to arrive today. Mika told me "life happens" he didn't apologize for the damage caused at his store, by his tecnician and did not offer to assume any financial responsibility for the $105 that I had to pay. The price got a little higher than expected (my friend did the same thing with trading in his old battery and replacing with a used/preowned/refurbished/rebuild (not sure how exactly its called) and said he spend $40). This time it was $52 for me (I trade in 2 old batteries). Still, its much better price then to get a new one. He also provide 30 days warranty which is great, too. The only thing I really didnt like is that a guy accepts cash only. I never carry cash and had to drive with almost dead battery to the closest bank. Other then that, very quick and you can seat on a bench closed to your car and see just about everything what he is doing to your car.
