This place is wonderful! I initially came in to be seen for an injury from working out at the gym 3 and a half years ago and Dr C, Dr S, and their Saturday doctor, Dr Swanson were so helpful and informative of health and chiropractic. After my injury I continued my care and found out I was pregnant then was able to get care from the office and staff throughout my pregnancy. I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant and I have felt just as good as I did when I was all healed well after my injury. Called this place and they gave me appointment same day. Great news! I can finally get the process going to recovery. First visit was great with lots of info, X-rays done, and will need 2nd visit to go over results and get my 1st adjustment. Made 2nd appointment and was told the first visit is $150!!! No one told me the first visit is out of pocket! Came back for 2nd visit with them telling me they're out of network meaning I have $1000 deductible and after that visits are only covered we 70%! Why wasn't this something they did before I was seen? Waste of time and money. So make sure they're in network before you go because obviously they don't do this until after your first visit AFTER paying $150!!! read more

I started with this chiropractic office back in September. I explained to them where I had pain, also, I'm not real keen on adjustments that crack my neck & back. I never felt heard. One of the doctors cracked me so hard it caused more pain. When I told them I was told to give it time & all would be well. I was also told that the change in weather was affecting it. The last time I went, I was in a lot of pain in my lower back. My sciatic nerve on the left side was almost unbearable. The doctor told me the pain would have to go all the way down to my foot & back before it would feel better. That was the last excuse I was willing to take. I told them I was done with them. I also want to mention their massage therapist. She is a very sweet gal, however, she needs a lot more training. She talks way too much, isn't consistent with her technique & due to her constant talking, can't get to everything within the allotted time frame. read more

The worst experience I've ever had with a chiropractor. Too much focus on the financial aspect. My insurance was charged almost $400 for just an X-ray and nothing else after being in a car accident. Not to mention they will try to make you do a mandatory $50 class. Just overall an uncomfortable experience, and prevented me from getting the adequate help I need that my insurance provided. Intake/Billing department needs to get fired. I was told our insurance will cover 100%, in-network and all we had to pay was a $20 copayment each visit. After 10 sessions, and 5 months later, someone from the office hits us with a $5,000 bill stating we were out of network the whole time. I can't seem to comprehend how this place actually has 4 1/2 star rating. My husband has being seen by them on a regular basis because he was involved in a really bad car accident with a box truck. They were eager to set appointments for him and reschedule appointments for him up until the point when they found out we were not working with a lawyer and that we were actually working with just our insurance company. Nowadays people are so SUE happy and it is it unnecessary if you're able to come to a reasonable agreement. You don't use unfortunate situations to "come up" or take advantage of the system. The energy you release into the atmosphere will always find a way back to you. Our insurance company agreed to pay for his treatment and pay their company directly. They were not interested in that they actually preferred that we had a lawyer apparently they get paid more if the patient is working through a lawyer. We were expecting a call back from them regarding our whole billing situation and it's been three weeks and no phone call. The claims adjuster from my insurance company typed up a letter on letterhead stating that Allstate would be paying premier chiropractic directly and faxed it over. Today when I called and asked for a call back I didn't hear from anyone and was told that I would hear back from them by Thursday. Today's Tuesday and there's no reason why we would have to wait until Thursday being that it's already been three weeks since we discuss this issue. The young ladies that work at this facility are very poor spoken. They don't have proper phone etiquette. And are just out right rude. The doctors however were very pleasant to deal with and know how to get the job done. We prefer to been seen my the doctors here and he began to feel much better after his first few visits. I'm just not happy that they don't actually follow through as their big sign says in their waiting room "we'll never deny a patient because of payment" in this case they would be receiving their payment directly from our insurance company. If they're willing to wait for the lawyers why wouldn't they be willing to wait for an insurance company? Especially one like Allstate. My biggest complaint overall would be lack of communication and having to deal with unknowledgeable rude desk girls. read more

I came from the Sacramento area to see this Chiropractor and he was very rushed. Had someone shadowing him so my treatment was crack and go. When I left I was in slight pain. Dr. Schlenger is one of the best chiropractors I've met, and I've had a few too. He really knows how to the cervical adjustments and definitely helps with spinal alignment and sublaxation. He gives you his full attention and answers any and all questions, which ends up taking a while so it results in a long waiting time. But again, you can expect his full attention and he gladly answers any and all questions. He's super friendly too, which is great, but again, you're going to have to wait for him to finish before he gets to you. The staff are also great; the ladies are friendly and patient. i've been with them for almost a year now and I'm glad I'm going here..... though I'd like to see the timeliness to be more efficient. Came in before my pain got too bad. The doctors were able to get some X-rays done and get me an adjustment ALL IN ONE DAY! For a VERY affordable price. Most people don't think to go to the chiropractor, but I'm glad I did. I now have my wife and my 2 month old going now! The staff is nothing but nice and personable and looking to help in any way they can. The doctors are well educated on the spine and nervous system, and constantly all's questions to make sure the treatment is going well for each individual person. I hadnt been to a chiropractor in about almost 10 years when one day, after multiple accidents in prior years, and I could not hold my neck up I was in severe pain. The welcoming staff were more then helpful and polite. They took my xrays and gave me an adjustment and we made a wellness plan. One day my daughter was having neck issues (9 y.o.) so i took her in with me since they do free exams for your kids under 17, and they immediately discovered she had scholiosis, which her pediatrician missed on her last physical. I was so thankful dr Schlenger is a scholiosis specialist. Dr schlenger and Dr cazares have been so helpful in the recovery of me and my daughter, as well as the amazing staff! I got the privilege to meet Dr. Schlenger after my husband and I were in a car accident in March of 2011. I was scared to get an adjustment because I was 39 weeks pregnant and thought that he would hurt the baby. To my surprise, he was very gentle and helped me with the pain that I was feeling. To this day, we have continued to go to Dr. Schlenger for a much needed adjustment. I highly recommend getting an adjustment over taking medication for back pain. The staff is great! Friendly and courteous. The doctors are awesome. Bathrooms and facilities are always cleaned. Getting a massage and then adjusted after just makes you feel so good especially after a long week of work. This office, Dr. Chris Schlenger and his staff member, Sophia were incredibly rude. I made an appointment with the front desk girl named Sandra, I let her know my insurance, she scheduled me for later that week. I checked in before said appointment and the front desk told me they only take insurance in Tuesdays and Thursdays...it was Wednesday. Confused, I told the receptionist that Sandra said I would be able to go through insurance. She took my insurance card and went to the back. She came back and informed me that they don't even take my insurance. (I have TirCare as my husband is an active duty serveice member) Upset that this office wasted my time, I'm very pregnant and really needed to be seen, I asked to speak with someone. Sophia walked out and brought me to the back room. She then re-informed me that they dont take my insurance but they take cash. Very suspect. I told her I wanted to go through insurance and I didnt understand why the front desk doesnt know what insurance the company takes. It's very confusing. She said they dont take veterans insurance. I told her my husband is active military. She said if I wanted to go through insurance I would have to go to the Veterans Hospital and get a referral. I told her AGAIN that my husband is ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY. She then just stared at me like she didnt understand, which I truly believe she didnt. So I asked to speak to the Dr. I wait... Dr. Chris Schlenger walks in. I tell him the situation and he tells me that, "Yeah, sometimes they dont know." like that is an excuse. He looked at me as if I was the one who should be baffled and expect to just pay cash. He didnt apologize about how under-educatd his staff was and sat there, while I stood, didn't offer me a seat, took it himself and asked me what I wanted him to do.... He was snarky and kept making very weird faces like he was wasting HIS TIME. So all in all, even if the staff says they take your insurance, they probably dont and it seems very suspicious that they want you to just pay cash. They will tell you they take it and look sideways at you when you're upset that they lied. Terrible bedside manner and their lack of knowledge regarding the difference between our Retired Veterans and Active Duty Military IS INSULTING. He is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau and there was a governemnt action suit filed against Chris Schlenger.
