Thankfully, my general dentist caught the issue before it worsened. I sought treatment elsewhere, where the new provider used advanced laser technology to address the infection. On my recent check-up, I was relieved to find that my bone had fully regenerated. This experience was both traumatic and eye-opening. My body was signaling distress (swollen thyroids), but I didn't connect the dots until it was nearly too late. If you're undergoing a root canal, I cannot stress enough the importance of doing your due diligence. Not all root canals are performed equally, and not all providers use the latest techniques or technology. While Great Expressions completed the procedure, it ultimately wasn't thorough enough, and I paid the price with my health. Any invasive procedure--especially a root canal--should be treated with a zero-trust mindset. Be proactive, ask questions, and ensure your provider is experienced and up-to-date with modern advancements like laser treatments. If I could go back, I would have chosen an advanced endodontic specialist from the start. I'm sharing my story as a reminder: listen to your body, demand the best care, and never assume that a procedure is truly "done" without proper follow-ups.

Waited 30 minutes before being seen. Two hours later mostly just sitting and waiting in the dental chair, my exam was finished with only xrays taken and no cleaning and a $1900 estimate for lots of work that my previous dentist (over 10 years) had never identified or recommended. A crown placed in 2023 came off approximately two years later. When I returned, another dentist initially told me the crown had not been seated properly and that the back area had been exposed. After I questioned why I should have to pay to correct the issue, I was later told that the X-rays showed the crown had been seated properly and that decay can occur under crowns. The change in explanation concerned me. I was then referred to specialists with tooth 15 identified as the problem tooth. After developing pain, I saw an endodontist who determined that the symptomatic tooth was actually tooth 3 and documented a vertical root fracture with a poor prognosis. The specialist also identified separate recurrent decay and very little remaining tooth structure on tooth 15. Equally concerning was how the office handled my requests for records. I repeatedly requested the clinical notes from my original treatment and the visit when the crown issue was discovered. They provided X-rays but never provided the requested clinical notes. After multiple written requests and deadlines, they eventually stopped responding to my emails altogether. I cannot say what caused the fracture, but I can speak to what I personally experienced: conflicting explanations, the wrong tooth number on a specialist referral, incomplete dental records despite repeated requests, and eventually no response at all. I am now facing additional specialist treatment and significant expenses. I have filed formal complaints so the appropriate agencies can review what occurred.

I had an appointment in 3 weeks but was in a lot of pain from the filling being so sharp. They fit me in the next day, filed down the broken tooth and filling to hold be over until my appointment. They didn't charge me anything for this. Great customer service! This is why I drive 90 minutes to come here!
