It seems like this clinic nickels and dimes. Their work isn't that great of quality, and they push unnecessary, or more expensive procedures. They twice told me I needed a crown instead of fillings. I got one of the crowns done, and then switched insurance to a very expensive one so on Jan 1st I'd be able to get the other one done. (They were not happy I wanted to wait a month and a half to get a crown). I saw a new dentist in January and he said I just needed a deep filling, and looked over my X-rays and said I never needed the first crown. They upsold me on a laser gum treatment and told me insurance would cover it.... It covered $40? I paid the remaining $150 out of pocket. I also got a bill from them 7 months post service saying insurance didn't cover something. When I looked at my insurance, it was denied for failure to submit the claim in a timely fashion. It took 3 phone calls before I finally said: "it looks like it was denied because it wasn't submitted by your staff on time, is that what you're seeing on your end" and magically the bill disappeared. Great personalities, terrible people, terrible treatment. read more

The space is very clean and the technology is up to date Cons: Seems like they always try to push to sell me something whether its fluoride, expensive water picks, cancer screenings, sealants (they keep changing the number of sealants I need every time I come in), etc. not sure if they get commission or if they're just told to push customers on buying extra stuff. read more

If you are in any way considering switching dentist, I recommend you try premier dental right away. The staff are all extremely professional and welcoming, and the office is very organized. They know who you are when you walk in the door, they greet you and offer you a cold beverage, and your wait time will not be long The quality of the dental work is also top-notch. They have the most up to date technology I have ever seen, and I really feel I am getting the best care. I've not only had my teeth cleaned here, but I also recently got some cavities taking care of. Fillings are usually a horrible experience, or at the very least uncomfortable, but my dentist and her assistants did everything they could to make the experience more pleasant. They have a blanket if you're chilly, headphones for you to drown out the noise, a stress ball to squeeze if you are nervous, and of course the nitrous oxide definitely helped. I was super nervous going into that appointment because the cavities were really bad but it was a lot better than I thought I was going to be. read more

Every service I have received from them has been awesome and great staff! Unfortunately this is a price and billing issue. I called the day before to schedule retainer impressions and specifically asked with my insurance what is an estimate and she had told me $150-$175. I understand this is an estimate, but when i go in today i was charge $280. I don't appreciate someone even quoting me that wasn't in the right position at the office to do so (not sure if i talked to a general staff or receptionist) but they were not inclined to give me an estimate i assume billing is only able to give me some sort of ball park. This place is a beautiful facility that has friendly staff that then goes beyond legal means to extract every penny they can from you!!! When I started going here I only needed biannual cleanings. Rarely had a cavity. Rarely had an issue. My dentist of over 25 years passed away unexpectedly, so I needed a new dentist. I looked for someone close to my house that was highly recommended. What followed made me leave them in less than nine months. They recommended that I volunteered for all kinds of tests that my insurance would not cover. They recommended that I have more cleanings per year. Each time they found minor things wrong, but said I had to have them done. Again having extra procedures that my insurance would not cover, so it was straight out of pocket every time!!! I paid out of pocket in excess of $5000 with this company. All the time all of the extra money I'm paying them I'm supposed to be in for some sort of rewards. GUESS WHAT??? Yep, none of that EVER happened!! I left them and haven't been back in over 2 years. Today I got a bill in the mail for nearly $150, YES TWO YEARS LATER!!! They say its an insurance claim that was originally paid but the insurance company wanted a refund as the dentist office over charged the insurance company, and they gave it to them, so now I need to pay it. I have been going to Premier Dental for the past couple years. I recently just got two dental crowns done in May of 2023. One of the crowns on my back molar has fallen off and had to be re-cemented now three different times. I recently moved temporary so I called Premier to let them know that the work they had done on my molar is insufficient. There is no reason a crown done less than a year ago should be falling off. The front desk assured me that the doctor would call me back the following business day. I received no call back. I have had a second opinion from a local dentist office and they have assured me that the crown Premier had done is too short, which is why it keeps falling off. I am very disappointed, especially as a reoccurring patient to Premier over the years and all the money I have spent at the Lakeside office. I feel as if my situation was over looked and not handled professionally. read more

I have always gone to small, mom and pop type dental offices so I found my first visit to be a little off putting, but I have grown to LOVE this dental office. When you go for the first time they introduce you to the practice with a person who basically assesses what you want out of your dental experience, gives you a tour, and tells you everything they do in the office. This whole process makes the first appointment longer than usual, but this is the only time. Plan accordingly. They always offer water or coffee when you arrive for appointments and also have chap stick on hand, which comes in handy after sitting with your mouth open for a while. My absolute favorite thing about this office is how they try their hardest to complete procedures like fillings, sealants, etc. during the same appointment need was identified. I hate having to come back later. I also like that they really take the time to discuss pricing in detail BEFORE completing procedures and even offer long-term plans. I have been to dental practices where I've felt pressured to make quick decisions without all of the information I need or even a minute to think about it. It's also nice that they have early morning appointments so my daughter doesn't have to be late for school and I don't have to miss too much work. I can't complete my review without mentioning how friendly the entire staff is. They are engaging and always take the time to get to know the patients. read more

I just finished some very extensive dental work there that has stretched out over the last 12 months. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Premier Dental. Every aspect of their practice uses the highest level of technology available, stuff I've never seen before! Their approach is very very professional in every way. They practice a level of gentleness that is state of the art. The whole office is orchestrated in all of their procedures for the highest level of efficiency that I've ever seen in this sort of environment. My first visit to Premier Dental felt like a trip to a high end boutique spa instead of a dental office. First visit included a building tour, meet-n-greet with staff, and a gift bag filled with useful Premier Dental swag. The extravagance was initially off putting but on every visit I've grown to appreciate the little things and attention to detail such as: multiple TVs angled down from the ceiling in the plush waiting area, using computers instead of paper to input patient information and medical history, access to various beverages, TVs hovering over each examine station with a full array of cable stations, personable staff, easily accessible docs, the list goes on and on. If there's a scheduling conflict the staff will move heaven and earth to get you in at your desired time. I witnessed this firsthand yesterday. My favorite hygienist is Kim although yesterday I cheated on Kim (she wasn't available) and used someone else whose name escapes me, but she was also great! Jamie and the rest of the ladies to include the front desk staff are awesome! Doctor B is a cool cat and the other docs are top notch as well. My entire family are patients of Premier Dental and we're all satisfied with the services received. New in town when I needed a tooth pulled. They were available, but charged me an arm and a leg for not only pulling the tooth but talked me into a couple of crowns while I was drugged up on pain killers, probably should have had my wife with me or just go to Reichert in Gretna instead, (I know he wouldn't screw me over). Anyway this place may be good for someone who is willing to pay a big price for services so they can pay for the fancy state of the art equipment but not me. I am not a new patient. Premier Dental says they can get you in quickly and have weekend appointments. I called yesterday to set up a weekend appointment. I was told the soonest they could see me on a weekend was Feb. I called back today to set up that appointment was told the earliest they could get me in was April 14th. I was seen in August of 2017 but was told I was being set up for a new patient exam. While the office was nice, I feel the wait and inconsistency is something that need to be addressed. read more

I really like Premier Dental! They are very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. Also, they are very thorough and do a great job of explaining their procedures. I was impressed that the finance department walked me though what I was paying and what insurance covered. I also liked that they offer newer technology to make fillings less painful. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was a weird charge. I had to pay a $19 as part of my cleaning for "dental hygiene education". I asked what this was and was told it was a fee for the hygienist explaining what I should be doing to care for my teeth. Really? I was paying $19 for her telling me I should floss more. Literally, that is it. Overall I would definitely recommend Premier to a friend...and they have a referral bonus. read more

Constant calls about scheduling work that was not necessary (IMO). Very high tech office and tons of staff. I'm sure that's why they made so many calls... to drum up business. It was so annoying! Also my daughter had tooth that needed a root canal. Dentist in office tried to do this. Ended up, they could not, so they sent her (raw open mouth) across town to a specialist to finish it. The dentist charged for the root canal and so did the specialist. Insurance only paid for one. Grrr! Then she got a crown after that by the dentist. More $$$. Cut to 18 months later and the same tooth was so bad it had to be pulled. Not happy and still paying on services. read more

They put in temporary crowns and eventually the real deal. I saw almost the whole staff during the process, everyone was great. The advertising assures they will get you in same day for emergency dental. I was in pain, I called they said to come in, they took me on a tour of the office, and gave me a free cup, then stated they cound not see me today,(it was 2:00pm) so they scheduled me a appointment for the next day. I had two caps put on, my Wife noticed they were charging for work that wasn't done. It actually showed 3 caps and some other various charges. When I pointed it out, they stated oh that happens all the time. They quickly removed about $1200 in charges. I made a $1100 dollar up front payment, blue cross blues shied actually covered everything except 1041.48. I have yet to received a refund check. It a beautiful office a real taj mahal, (that is reflected in the bill), At best the billing practices are a result of poor processes, at worst they are dishonest. read more

Our family has been patients of Premier Dental for about 2 years now. We've never had any issues with them and their staff have been great for the most part. I went in for my appointment today and was told they cancelled my appointment because I did not confirm my appointment. Apparently, they have been texting my office line to confirm. So the problem is a land line does not receive text. They offered another appointment 2 hrs later but it didn't work because I scheduled my day around this appointment. I understand they have probably lost revenue in the past due to no shows but I feel they should have erred in favor of their patient and not cancelled my appointment. It would have been easy for someone to look into my account and seen that neither I nor anyone in my family of 4 have missed an appointment. Unfortunately, their flawed policy to prevent lost appointment revenue has lost them our business as we will be looking for a new dental team. Respect should be mutual, I respect your time by showing up to my appointments. You should respect my time and realize I rearranged my entire schedule to be there. read more

Good variety of early morning and evening appointments. For a semi annual check up and cleaning wish they had included flossing and polishing we are asking for it as an addition. Also would have added a good touch if they would have offered a mirror to check the teeth before sending me to the cash register. Friendly front desk! Great hygienist that made a very complete cleaning, that I really liked. She also evaluated me and called the doctor to confirm what she had found. They both kind of overestimated what I had to do and the finance department overestimated what my insurance actually would cover. Beware, check around.
