Treated like a part of the family. While having surgery is never pleasant, the staff of Dr. Taylor from the front desk to nursing is 2nd to none. Unfortunately, having Mohs Surgery isn't a easy thing to go thru, but I can honestly say that Dr. Taylor is an excellent doctor and surgeon who explained his plan of attack before surgery and during the procedure. His nursing staff is excellent, and his surgical skills are amazing. I met with or talked to other Mohs surgeons within 40 miles and none could do a days surgery on melanoma without sending out the tissue for overnight pathology reports. Another Dr. I met with said it may take 3 or 4 days to get all the cancer with the wound being open at night while waiting on daily pathology reports. One patient took 7 days before the wound was closed with her. Not with Dr. Taylor. Absolutely amazing and the resulting scarring will be minimal. I don't know where to start, first off I need to mention I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on my face, literally right above my eyebrow. I went in for a consultation the day before my surgery just to meet Dr. Taylor and make sure he understood I didn't wanna lose my eyebrow and also to get a good vibe from him. He is truly amazing! If I ever need anything else done again, which I'm hoping and praying I don't have to, but if by chance me or a family member needed something I would definitely go back, he is skilled, talented, bedside manner is amazing, I really loved two nurses, Courtney, and Terri, truly amazing I can't say enough about them. I was thinking I was going to need a plastic surgeon to close me, but that is not the case with Dr. Taylor he can close you up and you will hardly notice I scar. Thank you Dr. Taylor! Really impressed with Dr. Taylor and his staff. Arrived on time to my appointment. I had already filled out my paperwork online. The front desk was nice and attentive albeit busy. Was called back to my room 15 minutes later, which is pretty fast for a doctor's office these days. The office is beautiful and obviously new. The room was clean and welcoming. Dr. Taylor came in and was immediately likable, gentle and kind. His knowledge of and answers to all of my questions were extensive and never rushed. He took the time to write down tips for saving money on some of my prescriptions. His skin exam seemed thorough and much longer than my previous derm, even checking my scalp and feet and between my toes. My mother had melanoma and he did a great job to explain how that translates to me and my risk for the disease. All in all a great dermatologist. Will be back! read more

My internist referred me to a dermatologist, rheumatologist and allergist to diagnose my consistent burning, itching hives. Dr. Taylor was so thorough, compassionate and professional. He researched and biopsied my hives and found the diagnosis and the treatment that worked. I was very impressed that he reached out to collaborate with my internist. Dr. Taylor's credentials are outstanding, studying at Harvard and Vanderbilt. He and his entire staff were so responsive to my needs. Dr. Taylor was personable and genuinely interested in helping me get better. At another visit Dr. Taylor removed a basal cell mole. Since I live two hours from his practice I had the stitches removed at my Internist's office. She commented on the beautiful tiny scar. After going to another derm in the area for 4 years I was fed up with having to wait 4 months for an appt only to see her PA for 5 minutes then the actual doctor for 60 sec. Saw Dr. Taylor's ad in the paper and thought it couldnt hurt giving him a try. Got in to see him in just a few days and was able to get a full body skin exam (scheduled), botox (not scheduled) and spots on my knees frozen off (not scheduled). Gives me options and takes into consideration cost of them (even telling me I could wait for a spot removal until the new year so it would count towards my new deductible).
