(May 22, 2024) I highly recommend this 2 hours dolphin and bay cruise excursion. If you're staying on Pensacola Beach, it's a super easy drive and park situation. Park near Felix's restaurant and enter downstairs under Felix's. There is a little ramp that takes you to the bay side where you catch the boat. No signs mark the area, but you will see others waiting in the area. These are most likely your fellow boaters. They suggest you arrive 45 minutes prior to departure. Our tour was scheduled for 10:00 AM; we arrived at 9:20 AM. The wait is easy with the beautiful scenery are lovely breeze. There are tables and chairs to sit at while waiting. The boat came out of the bay to get us, so don't be surprised if you don't see a boat when you first arrive. You will walk in the sand for a short distance before taking the pier to get onto the boat. A gentleman will take your last name that you made the reservations under, so you don't need tickets to show the reservation. The guys can help you on the boat if needed. The boat is a double decker. The lower area is shaded with large 3-3-1/2' port type widows which are open for a great breeze and maximum viewing. The captain will briefly go over safety instructions and what to do in case of an emergency. This is standard procedure on any chartered vessel. Don't be late! We had a group of 4 board at the last minute so all the instructions they missed had to be restated. Very annoying and rude, so don't be THAT person/group. You must stay seated while leaving the pier, but after you leave, you are free to roam the vessel. All seats are around the perimeter of the boat and each side of the boat has 7 windows. There's plenty of room for viewing. The captain does a great job of turning the boat so everyone gets to see the dolphins no matter which side you are seated. They sell canned sodas, bottles water and chips; no alcohol. There are plenty of grab bars to steady yourself once the boat gets going. It was a very smooth ride. Even when fishing boats went by us and created wake, we didn't feel much at all. I don't think anyone would have trouble with sea sickness. There is plenty of room for strollers, adult walkers, etc. No restrictions on purses. Several people had diaper bags for the kids and backpacks. There is a restroom onboard. We saw several pods of dolphin. It was a so neat how they come very close to the boat. Dylan/Dillion, of the boat hands, was so good at engaging with our group. Though he is young (born in 2001), he has been in Pensacola all his life and is very knowledgeable about the dolphins and the history of Pensacola. He was a pleasure to meet. After the dolphin viewing we took a cruise around the entire bay. We saw Ft. Pickens, the haunted lighthouse, million dollar homes, the military base area and so much more. I wasn't expecting the cruise to be as much fun as the dolphin viewing. They played reggae music while we cruised. I'm so glad we decided to do this tour! We were returned to the same area we left originally. For only $30 (plus taxes/fees and not including cancellation insurance you can add), this was a great deal! This was the worst Dolphin Cruise. Literally the captain drove as fast as possible to get to one spot for 15 /20 minutes . Maybe seen 2 dolphins then floors it back stops another 10 min just so you got your 2 hours. He was informative, nothing. Biggest waist of money! If you want a ocean ride great. It is a fun little boat ride. Dolphins are wild animals so they don't come on command but we saw a few. It's a nice way to spend a few hours. Take a jacket or sweater, it can be windy out there. read more

This was an awesome time with the family and really enjoyable, weather was nice and had a very good time.

The staff was super awesome and funny. We saw a lot of dolphins and even "played" with two. They were very cute. The cruise was clean and spacious. It was a little pricey but worth it. It really doesn't feel like the trip lasts an hour long. read more

8/14/20 I would recommend this cruise if you are just looking to get out on the water for a nice boat ride. The boat was nice, lots of room and it was covered. I've been on several dolphin cruises and this one had the nicest boat I've been on but the crew was not interactive at all and there was very low energy on the boat. We never left the bay so that was disappointing but we did spend longer than 2 hours on the boat and got to view the Blue Angels practice which was the highlight of the cruise. read more

We had a great time on our dolphin cruise! Captain Kevin was amazing, he was really funny and had tons of interesting trivia to share all throughout the tour. He even let all the kids have a chance to drive the boat, and made sure everyone had a great time. We saw multiple pods of dolphins, one within five minutes if setting off. The boat is really large, most of the boat is covered except the very back where you can go feel the ocean spray. There's lots of seats and plenty of room for everyone to see the dolphins. There is a bathroom onboard, and they even have a bar where they sell drinks, sodas, and snacks. Captain Kevin stayed out a little longer than the scheduled two hours so we could watch the sunset. We saw many dolphins! This boat captain worked nicely with other boats to locate dolphins for viewing. The crew was nice, boat took off on time. The boat felt large enough to easily walk around (upper and lower deck) to see dolphins. There are bathrooms and simply snacks like potato chips for purchase. Arrive early enough to find parking. There are other restaurants, retail shops and boating companies also parking there. It can get windy and a bit cold, especially upper deck. Bring a jacket and sunscreen! We originally booked the Blur Angels cruise and we were so excited to see them. Our cruise was canceled the morning of due to very rough waters and a storm coming in. Our re-scheduled 4:30-6:30 cruise was still awesome (just minus the Blue Angels). My only negative was there was a sulfur smell coming from inside the boat. I assume it had to do with the plumbing. It wasn't the worst smell ever and all you had to do was move and avoid it. Also, almost zero chance of seeing sharks on this cruise. I was hoping to see one. This place canceled our dolphin cruise and they did not tell people until very late. It rained for not even 5 min and they decided to cancel. They didn't pick up the phone when I called until I called a second time 20 min later. They do not have signs on the beach as to where you are supposed to go for your cruise. This business is not very well run. I think we would've had fun if we would've been able to actually go on the cruise. The beach it is on is pretty nice. read more

We woke up and decided to do a dolphin tour. This had the best reviews and had an easy to use online booking system. Booked 8 tickets in 5 minutes and we were off!!!! The boat was AMAZING!!! 90% covered. Very smooth ride and kept us cool and comfortable while many other boats were baking in the sun! The captain and crew were all super friendly and interactive. In 2 hours we easily saw 20-30 dolphins. Some within a few feet of our boat!!! Was such an awesome experience and we definitely recommend it for anyone!!! My 2 year old daughter, our teenage nieces, our 20 something year old cousins, and I and my 30 something year old wife all enjoyed it equally!!!!!! read more

From young to older, this was without a doubt our favorite thing we've done on Pensacola Beach--and we've been here many times. Everyone enjoyed the excursion on the catamaran--even the one in our party that gets seasick didn't get ill and enjoyed themselves tremendously. There was plenty of room for all and we could move around on the boat as we wanted. The little ones enjoyed being able to move around. The captain and crew were absolutely fabulous to each and every guest on board. The dock is right behind Hemingways-the dock, not the building/shop. They arrived early and we took the full two-hour window (which went by very quickly). There are restrooms and a full bar with snacks on board that you can purchase. The sides of the boat are enclosed, so you don't have to worry about things rolling off the seats into the water. You can sit in the shade in the middle of the boat or in the sunny areas along the edge/back. The seats are mostly cushioned with some areas hard surface. Life jackets available. The view is gorgeous, the ride was smooth, Dolphins and other sea life were amazing and the Blue Angels were a hit for everyone on board. It was a great time-fun, yet calm--everyone felt welcome and comfortable. Definitely THE thing to add to your list of to-do on Pensacola. Might bring polarized sunglasses with you to best see the Dolphins. read more

Was a good 2 hr boat ride. Has food/drinks available onboard for purchase. Friendly staff. Only downside is that all the people on board were super loud and screaming kids, so it was not too enjoyable or peaceful in that aspect. read more

Worth every penny! Very affordable, comfortable boat/ huge catamaran with a large covered sitting area for those who got a little sunburnt but still want to be out on the water. Saw lots of dolphins and and their babies! I was worried they would be from a distance which you can typically see from the shore, but they were right next to our boat. Of course I didn't have my camera out when they were doing all of the flips, but captured some good videos none the less. I'll post some mediocre pics so you can see distance from boat. Great 2 hour trip, and they offer a military discount as well! We are moving to the area and I will definitely go again ! read more

The place it has not name, nobody knows about them and we miss the ride because we never find them. We call several times and they never answer the phone. We miss 2 hours at the beach and at our hotel looking for them. When we return it was already dark. We pay $500 for the best view and miss that. It was so frustrating. Don't go with them, there are so many places to go and see dolphins. Don't waste your time, or you're going to regret it like us. read more
