I went in May, I created an account, I took some hormone tests, I could not log into my account for the life of me... I checked email and text and the text was the wrong number. When I told them I needed to change it on their form (because you never get to talk to a live person - ever) they said no I needed billing. And sent me a link to billing. First they sent me a link to reset my password but to do that you have to be able to log on! I did think that I had an appointment set (after waiting 2 hours in the waiting room for a walk-in appointment, suggested by my doctor upstairs - and they consistently moved me back in line every time someone with an appointment came in so that I would not be able to get in all day). But when I went in today for my so-called appointment at 2:00, it didn't take. The lady who is calling people back did manage to help me to get one with a confirmation code as a guest with no insurance. Hopefully I can be tested tomorrow otherwise it's LabCorp from now on. I still can't log on!

To my surprise, my two o'clock appointment started right on time. Since I was a few minutes early, there was a little wait time. In addition, the staff was very friendly and professional. The building and office both looked clean and inviting. Overall, I am very pleased with the experience even though it was a comedy of errors on my part. (The Quest Diagnotics location near my residence was closed due to some kind of emergency. I visited the one on Montgomery and was glad to have done so. I may use this location from now on.)

The instructions were to fill the test tubes with liquid which I didn't have. So I was sent home with the correct instructions. On Monday, October 14, 2014. I returned to the office to deliver the correct test tubes. The person said I did not have an order. She said I would have to get an order from the doctor and come back. I told her there was an order there, but rather than looking, she insisted that I take the test tubes and get an order from my doctor. I believe Quest Diagnostics staff need a education in patient services. However, it will do no good for me as I will never return to Quest for any reason.

I came in this morning with a food allergy test kit from my doctor. The front desk woman was…read moretending to another person so I sat down to create some space. I was immediately greeted by a technician who noticed my box kit and gave me paperwork on a clipboard and pen to fill out. I spent some time listening to the African-American woman at the front desk and was impressed by her patience with hyper-verbal, language barrier and nervous people asking/talking/being pushy about their lab work. She spoke to be understood, not simply to respond, and that takes finesse. The technician asked me which arm I preferred and was gentle with my desire to have a butterfly needle used. This means a lot to a person to be heard and respected of their wishes and not just rushed to get the job done. I was in an out of there in a jiffy, even with others coming in and going out. That was nice, as I was fasted and looking forward to eating something quickly!

I was once a 5 star reviewer but I'm back with my most recent visit to amend to 1 star. All because…read moreof homophobia from a single male nurse. He refused to look me or my wife in the eye, never introduced himself, and physically hurt me. I am bruised from where he wrapped my arm SO tightly with a band to insert my IV. The band tightness was actually more painful than my kidney stone and sepsis, the reason for my visit. I begged for relief and so did my wife. I twisted and moaned and cried in pain. He said nothing. This was completely awful, emotionally scarring, and I cannot believe this man is allowed to practice medicine when he does not care about the patient's comfort. I wouldn't recommend going here if you even might look a little gay.
