My husband and I have been patients of this practice since 2009. We have had more contact with Jackie Fretto than Dr. Loo, though he is an excellent doctor. Jackie has always treated us with the utmost respect and consideration. Because of her knowledge and quick thinking, my husband is alive today after enduring a traumatizing infection and almost a week in the hospital. She is efficient yet warm. Competent and caring. Whew! We are in the middle of a pandemic and the staff aren't wearing masks, but there are signs that require masks to be worn before you enter. Just from sitting down, I saw three staff members. Not even with it on their necks that they took off to take a drink or something. Only the staff member checking me in for podiatry was wearing it. This is absolutely outrageous for medical office staff to be so ignorant on public health policies and just overall, not keeping people they are supposed to be caring for. Not to mention, the front desk staff is so rude. I didn't catch her name, but middle aged woman with medium/long, brown hair. I'm only here for Dr. Loo because he came highly recommended. read more

First off I should note that I walked into Premier by mistake and meant to go to Simon Med Imaging next door. I'm giving this facility a 0 rating due to that fact that they are NOT requiring masks. It's on an individual basis only. I completely understand that it's everyone's right to wear or not wear however I don't believe this is the case IN ANY MEDICAL FACILITY. Premiers policy is basically only the sick need to wear masks. OK fine but we don't actually know who has Covid or any variant of Covid. As I entered, thinking I was in the right place, I noticed that the patents waiting as well as the staff were not wearing masks. When I asked the patents waiting to wear masks I was told by staff that I was being rude to the patents and asked to leave. I may note that I was not asked to leave politely either and this was before they even asked if they could help me not know if I was a patent or not. I would think that ANY medical facility would take as much precautions as possible to keep ALL patents healthy and safe. Unfortunately Dr. Loo and his staff really have no concern for sick. I would think that their thoughts, as medical providers, would be to keep everyone as safe as possible. It's my thought after my experience that this facility does NOT take others health and what they be going through with concern. There are many people out there with compromised immune systems that my be in the beginning stages of finding out. I would also note that if you as a patent would also take this into consideration. If you don't want to wear a mask I understand but please, if you're going to the doctor at least wear one there. You may be feeling fine and just going for a check-up but you really don't know if you have Covid or anything else that could compromise others. In ending, I'm really disappointed in the policy and disrespect Premier Family Care has for their patents. read more

The staff and doctors at this office must not believe there is an ongoing pandemic. No one wears masks, NO ONE. How incredibly inconsiderate these people are. They handle sick patients all day and could be potential asymptomatic carriers of covid and spreading it to their patients since they are not wearing masks. I'm changing doctors. Been going here for years but I don't want to be seen by any medical professional who won't wear masks for my safety during this pandemic. Dr Loo has been my doctor ever since i moved to Arizona. 20 years now. I have trusted him with my healthcare and he's always taken care of me. I've had times when I need to come in right away and he and his staff have always gotten me in. I hear horror stories of others who are sick and can't be seen by their primary for a week because they have no appointments available. This has never happened to me in 20 years. I would like to give less than 1 star if there was an option. however Dr. Loo is a great doctor and nice human being. He is my primary care for more than 2 yrs. I referred many of my friends and family members to his clinic. Unfortunately he is with the wrong staff and its impacting his image as a doctor. Dr. Jackie Fretto is awesome. I have been seeing her for about 15-years, she listens, makes suggestions and follows up. I have moved about 90 miles away and still come to see her as I have never been more comfortable with a doctor and never been rushed. The ladies that set up the scheduling are the best in the business, I have never waited more than 10-minutes, understand emergencies do happen, don't know how they manage, they have gotten me in at a minutes notice when quite ill. Dr. Loo has been my primary care physician for almost 25 years. I think so highly of him that I kept him as my primary dr for the 10 years I lived and worked in NJ/NYC, having him perform my physicals when in AZ for visits. That's how good I think he and his practice is. He always fit me in, working around my travel schedule and limited time in the Valley. He always encouraged me, when possible, to help treat my health issues through lifestyle changes he laid out rather than loading me up prescription meds to address things I had ultimate control over. He's always been good at providing simplified explanations as to what's happening with my body when ill so I can grasp my situation, and he's never left the examination room without having addressed all my questions. If questions arose after the fact, his staff always got an answer back to me in a timely manner. Early on when I was young, self employed and uninsured, Dr. Loo worked with me to provide me with the care I needed. He earned my loyalty long ago. Jackie Fretto deserves the same high praise. I've seen her too many times over the years. Dr. Loo and his practice has been nothing less than great. I highly recommend. read more

I go to a lot of doctors. Dr. Loo is by far the worst Doctor I've ever been to. I saw him first when I was about 13 and ended up sticking with him whenever I got sick, and needed to see a doctor right away. Every time I left that place I would promise myself I wouldn't come back. 8 years later and I am scheduling a physical with a new doctor so I can be patient status with someone else. Sometimes I feel like the reception girls and Dr Loo are all related, because they have same condescending expression and super defensive attitude. Loo comes in and rushes through everything and doesn't sit down and listen. The first time I saw him I went about stomach aches. After hardly talking to him he prescribed and antidepressant. Then I came back years later for fatigue and lightheadedness. He didn't listen to everything I had to say and kept interrupting and rushing everything. Then ended up giving me antidepressants again. When those gave me migraines, he told be to see a psychiatrist. Maybe stomach aches and fatigue are not mental illnesses? For someone who is already uncomfortable going to the doctors Dr Loo is literally the worst. I will say I remember seeing the lady Doctor there. She was just the sweetest. I only saw her when Dr Loo was too busy. read more

We have seen Dr Loo and his nurse practitioners for almost 20 years. We are pleased with the care we receive and when necessary they have referred us on to specialists. They seem to keep plenty of same day appointments so that if an illness arises you can get in to see them. read more

I have been a patient of Dr.James loo since I was 8 years old. I am now 27. This place has completely gone down hill. They no longer care about their patients. It is more like you are just a number to them. There is no personal treatment any more. I have had severe back problems since I was 15 years old. Dr.Loo has seen me over the last 12 years for these reocurring issues. I went to the chirpopractor who told me my back has compltely been thrown out. I am in excruciating pain, my doctor told me to call my primary doctor to see if I could get in to get some pain medication to help manage it. DR.Loo's office said they COULD not get me in until Monday and even that wouldn't be with Dr.Loo but his nurse practitioner Martha and WOULD not perscribe anything to me until they saw me. This has happened numerous times. I feel like this place no longer cares about their patients. The office staff is extremely rude and act as if they have no time to deal with your problems.When i informed Andrea that I was very unhappy and Dr.Loo would lose me as a patient she said OH well, Dr.loo is the one who said he couldnt see you so I will let him know and HUNG UP ON ME!!! She also said with an ATTITUDE that if I was in that much pain i could go to URGENT CARE. I would not recommend this doctor or its staff to any of my family and friends if you are looking for a quality physician.
