Ed spent close to an hour reviewing my vehicle history and I appreciated it--he really "geeked out"…read moreon the details in a good way. He comes across as one of the last real mechanics--knowledgeable, thorough, and someone I would have trusted to work on my vehicle. His daughter later called to schedule. She said she was a mechanic. I mentioned Ed had spent a long time with me (as a compliment) and asked a follow-up question about how they'd clear out the engine, noting I had a budget. She said she didn't have enough information, which is fine, but the tone felt closed off. I said, "It doesn't seem like you want to engage in the conversation, and that's okay." She called that rude, I repeated it, and she hung up. I went in person to clear things up because I respected Ed's time. Instead, I was told I had insulted his knowledge--which is completely untrue--and was asked to leave, even after apologizing if anything came across wrong. I respect that Ed let her handle it, but the situation was misrepresented and handled poorly. Unfortunate, because my impression of him was very positive. I did walk away with enough information to pursue next steps, and Elite Auto appears equally equipped, so the time wasn't a complete loss. Based on my experience, I'd keep interactions with her limited to scheduling and work directly with Ed for anything beyond that.

Customer beware. I…read moretook my car to Precision Finish in November 2023 for insurance-covered collision repairs that included replacing the A/C condenser, cooling fan motor, bumper, and other parts. Unfortunately, it has been one problem after another ever since. The day after I picked up my car, I noticed it sounded like it was still running after I shut it off. I brought it back immediately, but Orlando assured me it was normal. A few months later, when the weather warmed up, my car began overheating so badly that I had to pull over multiple times to let it cool down. Over the next two years, I brought my car back several times. Different parts were replaced, but nothing solved the problem. Eventually, Honda diagnosed the issue: the aftermarket cooling fan assembly installed by Precision Finish was drawing too much amperage. Honda tech note stated "the fan motor, shroud, and blades do not match exactly what's needed." Once the correct parts were installed, the overheating finally stopped. The A/C also never worked properly after the original repair. The aftermarket condenser installed by Precision Finish failed, and Honda later replaced it under recall. Even after that, my A/C still doesn't work. Precision Finish now says it's no longer covered because the warranty has expired, even though it never worked properly after the original repair. In my experience, nearly every major repair done by Precision Finish had to be redone because of incorrect aftermarket parts, faulty aftermarket parts or improper installation. To top it off, the paint on my bumper is a terrible match. My car is metallic silver, but the bumper is a flat gray that doesn't match the rest of the vehicle. This experience cost me countless hours, repeated trips back to the shop, and lost income because I rely heavily on my car for work. DO NOT get your car repaired Precision Finish! You will regretted! Orlando (Shop owner) will tell you himself, he's not a license mechanic and he does NOT employ a license mechanic. Save yourself the time, frustration, and expense by taking your vehicle to a qualified repair shop the first time. I will be reporting Precision Finish to the attorney general, BBB and will exploring my legal options. I intend to pursue every available avenue to hold Precision Finish accountable.

Had to take Orlando to court just to get damages and impound fees back because he obviously felt he didn't need to cover jack sh1t, and got left with $2000 in damages from the theft. He doesn't have business insurance or else I would have been covered for my loss. Orlando did not care or try and make me whole out of this whole situation, which could have been avoided if my car key was in a lock box and not left on the hood of the car after hours. I recorded the meetings to document everything taking place, and trust me, he could care less once you sign the work authorization form. If you take care of your car like I do, take it elsewhere, you'll thank me for it. Response from the owner a day ago Sorry for your experience with our shop! It was every unfortunate event that you experience. This can happen to any one any where! This hasn't happen before or since your time here. Rest assure steps have been taken to better secure our customer's vehicles so this best doesn't happens again. I had notice that you had made some false statements and accusations. "some" here and or in person. You came under false pretenses from when we first met to get the best repairs at the lowest cost, okay! and after the events of 6/2020. You had taken efforts to maximize your out come of the event. Due to the circumstances I felt I couldn't work with you to the best out come and maybe still. This is unfortunate! You signed a agreement freeing me of any liability. I can't protect you from your own arrogance! Have a better day. 11.1.22 Reply to your response today. I think it's laughable that you would post a reply a year and a half later. Not only that, you are trying to imply that I'm "arrogant" and some sort of scammer! I would love to know what statements of mine are not truthful. The part where my key was left on the hood of my car after hours? The part where you have no business insurance? The part where you have no security cameras? The part where you have no lock box for customer keys? Orlando, you are a joke. Your smug attitude in Colorado Springs Court makes me assume that you knew that once someone signs the work authorization form, you're off the hook. Probably has happened before, I'm sure. My car was located by police in Greeley, CO. Recovered from a homeless drug addict that was using it as shelter. Orlando took no responsibility for the theft of my vehicle or the damage that was done, and Orlando said it himself in his own reply above... he was released from my car being stolen due to my signing a work authorization form. Now you are trying to discredit me and imply that I had some motive for taking MY BMW to HIS business to have work done. Yes, it was MY mistake for choosing this place. For anyone reading this - Don't make the same mistake!!! Read Orlando's reply to my original review and that will tell you all that you need to know about him and his "business ethics"... or lack thereof. He'll smile at you and may give you a good price, but if something goes wrong, don't expect that Orlando will to the right thing. Truly a piece of garbage.

DO NOT bring high-end vehicles to this small business. Instead, choose a larger company with routine experience on premium vehicles. You may pay more at a larger business, but you're vehicle will be serviced correctly the first time. (Long Review) I usually go out of my way to support veteran or black-owned businesses, it's unfortunate this will be the last time I do so after experiencing yet another janky experience from this demographic. I used Paul before for window tinting on my house, his team did a great job and I figured he'd do a fine job on my dream car. The dealership recommended their own tint and PPF shop, but I was sure Paul would take care of me. After taking delivery of my new car, I brought it to Paul for his service. I spent around $3k for tint and PPF, yet Paul failed to QA/QC the work from his team. I acknowledge mistakes will happen, however he kept my new car for 5x days only to release it to me with multiple mistakes present. I've had tint and PPF on cars before and it only took one day, but I trusted Paul's judgment. I'll give him credit, he took accountability for the mistakes and offered to fix every issue. Per Paul's request, I paid him in cash and he asked me to come back next week to review the tint and PPF confirming everything adhered to its surface. After taking the car home, I noticed the seats were damaged with deep creases and muddy footprints on the back of my carbon bucket seats. The installer neglected to properly care for the interior while installing the window tint. In addition, the driver-side window made a "crunchy" sound when rolled down after the tint cured. I immediately messaged Paul and he gave me a call the next day asking me to come to the shop. Paul was happy to review my problems and made note of everything. He even brought out his installers for some real-world training on what not to do... Of course I didn't like my car being used for training purposes, but I appreciated him trying to train his inexperienced staff. We also discussed the leather seat repair and he requested I secure a quote from the dealership. He then told me his admin clerk would give me a call the following day to set up a new appointment... she never called. I tried helping out Paul by not only securing the dealership quote but also securing two third-party local leather repair quotes. The admin clerk followed up with me a few days later to bring my car back for service. I chose to bring the car back the same day they texted me around noon. Paul appeared to be stressed and wanted to drive me back to work IN MY CAR after I had driven to his business... for unknown reasons, he would not use his company vehicle to take me back to work and he declined to offer his pickup service. Once again, he wanted to keep my car overnight and pick-up tomorrow; again not offering to pick me up. Paul did a great job with repairing the window tint and PPF, but he avoided speaking to me. His admin clerk secured my car and brought it to the front of the building. The car looks better but Paul ruined the new dream car experience for me. Before bringing my car to Paul, he would promptly answer all of my calls and text messages. It's the weirdest experience when these types of people have a change in demeanor after they've got your money. Soon after paying Paul, my calls would go to voicemail and he stopped replying to my text. Paul's admin clerk will sometimes text for him so you never know who is replying to you. All in all, I don't think Paul is a bad guy but his lack of professionalism in addressing an issue caused by his team is only kicking the can down the road. I've now had to seek legal counsel and prepare for court, this could've all been avoided if he chose to pick up the phone.
