Was told I would be able to book a procedure within a week by the doctor, but the office staff is clueless on the understanding of a week is. Go somewhere else if you want to live. I seem to be reliving the same issue with this group. Three years ago I saw a doctor here, prostate exam. All seemed fine as I heard. Fast forward I upon referral from a general practitioner am referred back to this office for concern of possible enlarged prostate. Able to schedule an appointment relatively quick, I was surprised at that. On my scheduled appointment date. I'm seeing the same doctor I saw three years prior. He starts our visit with. "We never received your PSA results ". I responded my what? He states he requested a PSA test, wouldn't you think. If a doctor makes a request of a patient and the results never come in. That doctor would make contact with the patient? And now said doctor has retired and it's been over a month that I've been waiting for replacement doctor to receive a follow up appointment. This group isn't quick with replacement of retired doctors not communicating with patients with concerns of their health care. read more

I was referred to a physician in the group by my primary care doctor. I was experiencing a flare up of an existing condition and called to make an appointment. As the physician I had been referred to didn't have any available appointments prior to the upcoming holidays, the office staff suggested that they could get me in to see another doctor in the practice. What they did NOT tell me was that I would be barred from seeing any other doctors in the practice in the future. When I called to schedule a follow up with the physician to whom I'd been referred, I was told that office policy did not allow a change to another doctor in the practice. Odd policy. No explanation. I left a message with an administrative supervisor questioning the policy but have not received a response. I will not be a returning patient if I'm unable to choose the doctor I see. read more

I have severe Anemia & have been getting Iron Infusion there for almost two years. I had blood taken ten days ago my HGB is 7.4 and very low iron. Not one person called me the results, I was scheduled for a Colonoscopy, but had to cancel due a family emergency! My Doctor is annoyed with me due to the lapse of the Colonoscopy. I am quite stunned at this type of behavior, this is extremely unprofessional and very dangerous to myself, with the levels being so low; but no one Even bothered to call me with this information. I would have given a 5 if not for the front desk. Seems like everyone trying to look busy so someone else at will sign in. Stood waiting without any acknowledgement from 3 women at desk. When approached one of them to check in was told to wait till called. Went back in line and was called by same person in like 2 minutes. Not very welcoming, seems alot of tension between them. read more

My first visit was pretty good a couple months ago. I had some test done. It took a while to get some of the results. I had a test done on Monday and I'm still waiting after a couple of phone calls still waiting for the results of those test is the office is unprofessional Knowledge. read more

I was scheduled for a colonoscopy. The instructions I received confused me because the medication I was prescribed was to be taken the night before the procedure, I was scheduled at 7:00 am. When I was prepared for the procedure the nurse asked if my colon was cleared I said no. The doctor was told and decided to do it anyway. When I woke up, the doctor came and told me that I had constipation and I messed up her scope. She stormed off . I was embarrassed and humiliated. I told the nurse that I didn't understand why the medication I took was instructed to be taken just the night before the procedure. She suggested that I talk to the doctor at my next appointment. no nurse only clerk was there ever a nurse no labwork prior colonoscopy office gave doctor prior results on previous. was better than caremount who left me alone after proceedure and anesthesiologist didnt shove his fingers in my mouth looking for denture. told him none. dr williams at the time seemed attentive but then i told her i had a ct scan. i wanted advice on results. she wants a mri. this was 4 yrs ago. i only saw gall stones but not blocking any branches. so good. at least 7 doctors have seen these scans. primarys nephro pulmon endo and gastro. endo treated then screwed up parathyroid low vit d. she dissapeared and they no longer took my medicare plan. no one discussed pancreas....... last year i called this gastro because my husband had pains again 5 doctors never scanned but did colonosc no issue there. so i had to take him to emergcy mt kisco hospital. gallstones. never heard that discused. discharged him. i had to call a surgeon took us the next day and sched surgery day after. he turned yellow caused by stones ripped thru and bile entered body. many months of stents to fix. i called premier to do bloodwork that was necessary post op. would not do it. did msg ever get to doctor by clerk dont know. when i spoke to surgeon i told her i had stones too. she said i should get them out. i cant get any doctor primary or gastro who will do bloodwork. 2024 i went to sched another colonoscopy. doctor wants another mri. i thought shes looking at gall badder. no discussion on pancreas. my research shows a symetry between parathyroid disorder and pancreatitus. that needs to be tested. nope per clerk not doctor. why are they waiting for to finally turn cancerous. it will all be documented as patient fault. start hiring nurses do labs and how about an urgent care location read more

After having been to 5 gastroenterology offices across New York throughout my struggle with Ulcerative Colitis, I can confidently say this office has been the most thorough and dedicated to my care. I can always get a same day response, and getting an appointment doesn't take months! I have gotten to work with Dr.Gaddam as well as the infusion tran and have had nothing but great experiences through some of the toughest times with this disease. I have and will continue to recommend this office to anyone looking to get answers, and long term solutions to their gastro problems! read more

I have never felt so unimportant in my life. I was seeing Linda Ruta who is absolutely amazing. Couldn't ask for better care. However I'm not sure if she left the practice or not but I called several times begging for an appointment letting them know that I need Ed to be seen to get a refill on my blood pressure meds I have high blood pressure and was in need of meds and no one would return my call. I will never recommend this office in fact I will discourage people from receiving their care. Totally disgusted. They didn't care if I lived or died. read more

But today I'm getting a fibroscan and a ultrasound, I got my fibroscan now I've been sitting here waiting for an hour for my ultrasound it's ridiculous here so unorganized and rude have no idea what they are doing if you are getting an ultrasound or fibroscan please don't come here unless u wanna deal with nasty receptionists and a unorganized mess read more

This is not about Drs or Nurses who are wonderful but is about the support staff. Dr. Williams is excellent. Her secretary though has a poor attitude, is gruff and unhelpful. Remember the tough secretary that blocked you from the manager you needed to talk to? They don't exist much anymore in business (few have admins) but one made her way to Premiere Medical. Not suitable for a medical office. She needs to upgrade staff. read more

Extremely careless staff and very bad communications, which adds to the doctor's demise, possibly mal-practice and harm to patients. I believe office staff is 1/2 of the entire picture for a patient's success at treatment and good health. The first time I went to this office, 243 North Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY, I filled out 5-6 forms which took about 45 mins. which was fine and to be expected. Then I saw the doctor. The Dr. sent a prescription to the pharmacy for me to pick up. When I got there there was no script and the pharmacy said no one sent it in, and for me to wait a little. I waited two hours and nothing. I called the doctor's office (which is always difficult to connect with them as it's like a factory or warehouse that's not personal at all and you are transferred before you get the words out of your mouth) they are so overbooked and have such terrible non-performing staff.) In speaking with the girl on the phone I learned that the girl I gave these forms to did not put in the correct information so I was being told to drive 1.2 hours to pick up my prescription. Turns out the girl's laziness caused her to input the incorrect info for me so they used outdated info that was on a chart done for me eight (8) years ago! when I was closer to the pharmacy they were sending me to on this day. Then I called and was immediately transferred to a voice mail of an employee who had left the practice months ago yet the voice mail message still had her name and message on it. Their excuse is "the new girl has the same name" but that didn't make me feel good at all as this is an important medical office which I would think would be more diligent to make sure this doesn't happen as mistakes like this can cause lives or harm to patients. All it would have taken was this girl to do her job that wasn't so difficult at all. My 3 year old could have done it better. So now I get this voice mail with the previous employee's voice and message so whose to know if this was a line that was discontinued due to the change in staff or what but I was not called back for days. Then I had to get a test done. The testing nurse called me to schedule saying she was sending me the info in my e-mail which she did but the info was missing 2 very important details; are you ready??? 1. The address where I needed to go to take this test - important?? no??? and, 2. How much/what size of the prep solution to buy as it came in various different sizes. One week went by and the nurse Dian who told me if I had any questions to call her and she'd get right back to me and her VM greeting said she'd call back within 24-48 hours - not one week later!!, which is when she got back to me. The test never took place as the prep was more difficult than I expected so I needed help with it on the day of the test so I called the office thinking that maybe someone can help me but they called me back 1.5 hours later to tell me no help was available and they made me feel like it was my fault and bashed me to protect their "feelings?" who knows. In speaking with the Dr. an hour later, I find out I never needed this test in the first place!!! Can you imagine??!! I never in my life experienced such terrible office and medical ignorance at a drs. office and probably all because they make too many appointments they cannot handle so if something doesn't go perfectly then all breaks down and the patient suffers. I'm looking for another gastro Dr. as I wouldn't trust these folks as far as I can throw them. P.S, I worked for Medical Malpractice attorneys for 30+ years in NYC and I saw cases like this all too many times where the laziness or mistakes like this caused patients to be harmed and or death so there were plenty of lawsuits that the patients won and it was millions. Yeah, do not go here if you want to be treated for anything even a headache! P.S. I also reached out to their supervisor twice and no one got back to me so I'm done before they kill me. read more

Now that I have survived my colonoscopy I would like to thank Dr. Nikolla and Dr. Conti for their conversation and for putting me at ease before the procedure as well as the other staff, Trish(?) during the procedure.
