The eye glass boutique is unreliable at best and extremely aggravating at worst. I was promised my glasses in two weeks but didn't receive them for a month and I didn't purchase new frames-all that was needed were new lenses! I know of at least two other people who had similar experiences. So I gave 4 stars for the doctors and staff and ZERO stars for the eyeglass boutique.

The staff are very knowledgeable, and friendly 2. Appointments galore! If you need an appointment they can make it work 3. Fast! I had my pupils dilated and I was seeing within hours. They were so nice about everything! 4. They take a lot of different coverages including mine! Now let's discuss the 'guy across the hall'... If you choose to you can have your exam and frames done at the same time. If you're me you go in the office across the hallway, see glasses from the 1920s and simply prefer to get them ordered elsewhere. You would think that would be perfectly fine considering so many folks do eyewear. Whelp, I might be wrong! For 2 weeks I had to deal with an older gentleman who clearly gets his knickers in a bunch if you ask him a question when you don't buy things directly from him. Like you know, are these the right glasses? Here the problem today. He referred to my frames as "cheap and worthless" when I asked him to inspect the prescription (which he says he can do)He throws them on his table and says, "you get what you pay for." Then dismisses me. So he didn't help me at all. I could only imagine if I actually purchased my glasses from him. So yeah. Back to the gals from the exam office next door. I walk in they inspect my glasses and boom! The makers I used gave me someone else's prescription! They were polite, and quick. I'm not sure what the discord is with the guy from across the hall, but...I won't be using his services ever. There is a reason why that guy is in an office across the hall. It might be time for him to retire. Be mindful your experience might be different from mine, but if you just need a proper exam and take the script someplace else, they WILL still help. She is truly caring and gentile and will try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Her whole staff is wonderful there. If you're looking for a dermatologist that truly cares about her work and her patients, I definitely recommend Dr. Pratt at Sally Balin Medical Center.

I had excellent experiences with Dr Brilliant (now retired) and Dr. Nancy Crawford (Glaucoma). I did see several different Drs for Narrow Angle Glaucoma, Endophthalmitis, Retina issues, Uveitis, Scleritis, RoP, Macular Degeneration, etc. I followed my last Retina Dr. to her new system. The wait time at all eye Drs is long. I have never had an extreme wait time. My sadness was the repeated turnover in Drs for my retina and uveitis conditions. The front desk in Springfield could use some customer service training.

The receptionist was actually extremely helpful in setting up an appointment for us the very next day. My son extol 9 days prior to this appointment hurt his leg while at the shore long story short we took him to the hospital in ocean city. Then our pediatrician. None of which could find why my sons leg was giving out ( completely buckling under him) and he had a severe limp. As a mother I'm worried out of my mind and finally we were able to see a specialist (or so I thought) they ordered more x rays as soon as we got there and got them done and went back to the office. DR FRANK GIAMMATTEI walked in and simply just said nope nothing came back on the X-rays he's fine. At this point I was about to cry and said why is my son limping and his leg giving out. This man didn't touch my sons leg once didn't watch him walk at all NOTHING. As I'm voicing my concern he was already walking out of the room and blew me and my fiancé off. I was LIVID. He told us to wait two weeks until we could possibly see him again. We couldn't wait and watch my poor son walk like he was so we took him to A.I DuPont hospital. They did 12 different X-ray pictures from his hip to his foot and about an hour later the head doctor comes in and tells me MY SONS LEG IS BROKEN!!! How the hell does a specialist miss a 2 year olds broken leg. Needless to say I will be asking to see the X-rays this "specialist" took and definitely let him know how he may need to give up practicing medicine because this experience was the worst I've ever felt with!!!!
