Dr. Carey is, without question, one of the best orthopedic doctors I've met. She took the time to thoroughly explain what is happening with my knee and why I'm experiencing the pain and breakdown that I have. No other orthopedic doctor has ever explained my condition in such a clear and understandable way. What impressed me most was that she truly listened. I tend to ask a lot of questions and sometimes over-explain my concerns, but she never made me feel rushed or dismissed. She listened patiently, answered every question, and made sure I understood all of my treatment options. I also appreciated that she didn't immediately push medication or surgery. She respected my concerns, offered alternatives, and presented surgery as an option--not a decision she was making for me. I only had to wait about 15 minutes before being taken back to the exam room. The person who did the intake was efficient and nice. Dr. Wang was also very nice. He answered my questions, explain the x-ray and was gentle when touching my hand. The physical therapist, Zach, what is also nice and knowledgeable. He gave me the splint, and showed me how to put it on. He answered some questions I had. From the time I checked in till the time I left the staff here were all really nice. I felt like I was seeing as a whole person not just a medical case. I'm really glad I came here for a second opinion.
