Always managing staff shortages as therapists continually moved locations to cover shortages…read moreelsewhere which left me with different therapists too often. One PTA, whom treated me most often, did not focus treatment on anything other than massaging the tight muscles whereas the PT and other PTA's did other treatments as well. People did not know how to utilize one particular piece of equipment as three different people set it up three different ways and the person that did the set-up the best, was just trained to do it and also was a support staff person. Variation of treatment did not change much from day one to week 13. Way too much loud across the room personal conversations amongst employees, and therefore, did not feel they were focused on my treatment. Changed to another PT organization due to level of disappointment. Got a sharp pain in my neck after the first treatment session and never went away after 12 more sessions over a six-week period. Extremely disappointed as have had much better experience and results at a different ATI location 10 years ago, but as with all medical facilities, it appears ATI has been hit with the same corporate management attitude with focus on making money vs. servicing the patient.

It's a waste of time and money! Luckily, I'm not the type of person to base my decisions on just the words of others, so I figured I'd give it a try! Upon arrival to the clean and serene facility, I was greeted by the pleasant receptionist, Cindy. Cindy set me up with my first appointment and gave me the option of going to the Joliet or Plainfield clinic. I choose Plainfield since it was a straight shot from my home. I was scheduled with Dave, who was actually the owner!!! Can you believe that?! The owner actually provided me with care! That was a huge deal to me! No Big I's or little u's mindsets going on here! He was very friendly and very knowledgeable in his practice. Since my therapy was a lengthy 3 month period I was also able to work with Sarah, she's so cute and tiny-- but don't let that fool you!!! She's strong and makes her stuff!!! I also got to interact with Nolan in passing-- he does elite training. EVERYONE I encountered was very friendly, professional and knowledgable!!!
