When I first called to make an appointment, I specifically asked if I would incur any out-of-pocket expenses. I was told no and that I had met my deductible after my insurance was run. I was aware that I have coinsurance, but I have never received a coinsurance bill for chiropractors or other physical therapists. 2. When I attended, the physical therapists were double-booked. Generally there was one therapist per about 3-4 patients. I have been an athlete my entire life so physical therapy is not new to me. This is the first time I have been compelled to get my phone out and play games waiting for the PT to complete working with another patient. 3. I received an itemized bill that has different prices for THE SAME billing code. I called to clarify how I had an outstanding balance given that I was told I would not have to pay anything out of pocket. I also asked why THE SAME billing code has different prices. I was told a manager would call me back. They never did. Rather, I received another letter threatening to send me to collections. I called again today and I was told that whoever was supposed to call me back "did not see a reason to." Clearly they care about money more than their patients. The physical therapists are fine professionals, but whoever is running the admin, billing, and operations should be fired. There are physical therapy clinics on every corner in Illinois. Next time I will go elsewhere.

Steve has been my PT the entire time (no they did not switch me around like those other places) and all I can say is WOW & BOOM! If you are interested in a physical therapist who take the time to get to know you, puts you on a plan to meet your personal goals, and goes above and beyond, then Athletico in Plainfield North is your place. Steve has gone to see my Orthopedic Surgeon with me so that we were all on the same page. Are you kidding me!!!! In less than 3 months after my surgery, I was out playing golf and now I am able to jog and do a lot of physical activity with very little pain & irritation and no medication at all. I give myself credit, but if it wasn't for Steve, I wouldn't even be close to being able to do any of those things in such a short period of time. After his initial assessment, the team agreed he needed 30+ hours of weekly ABA therapy to support his development. Unfortunately, Rush consistently failed to deliver. Despite the agreed-upon plan, our son never received more than 17 hours per week, even during summer sessions it was decreased even further down to just 13 hours. Early intervention is critical for autistic children to build essential skills in communication, cognition, and social development, as emphasized by every autism support group we've joined. Rush's inability to provide the recommended therapy hours has hindered our son's progress. Worse, Rush made recommendations that seemed contrary to his best interests, such as reducing his weekly hours after he missed a few days over a couple of weeks or allowing their therapist make medical diagnosis when they have no training to diagnose medical conditions. This lack of commitment and follow-through has been deeply disappointing. We expected a center dedicated to supporting autistic children to prioritize their needs, but Rush fall far short of that standard.
