We came here hoping and trusting that Premier Property Management would be a great rental management company. However, these people get angry at us when something in our house stops working , (hello....rental agreement?!?) and they IMMEDIATELY began to behave toward us like they HATED us! We are fantastic tenants. We have never been late on our rent, we keep a clean house and we ONLY ever call them when there's a problem we can't fix on our own. Angela, (the manager/owner) is a nightmare! She interrupts before we are even done telling her what issue we are having with our property, she yells at us, swears at us and hangs up the phone on us! That may sound unbelievable and that's because it is! She and her company are despicable! Kris was ok at the beginning, but out of nowhere, she only ever acts like she is Angela's puppet and behaves accordingly. I'll add more to my review after we move out of here. I'm pretty sure it will only get worse, and if I could leave zero stars right now, that's exactly what I'd do. We have never had a bad relationship with ANY business with whom we have interacted in the 10 years we have been married. Premier Property Management is reprehensible and scandalous and we cant wait to permanently put them behind us. Yuck! Angela's "perfectly little up to code agency" leased me and my wife into a sweet little homely place that had black mold growing in it well before we even became tenants, and made us sign a "mold addendum" that Colorado warranty of habitability law contradicts. When we asked them to fix it, they thought it was funny, and had nothing more to provide than "taking four months to remedy the issue because of everybody's scheduling" while we move out of the place we just paid for two weeks ago as of this review, the maintenance lady assigned to our unit is rather rude and abrasive as well and did everything to try and shift the blame onto us. Nothing was done prior to us moving in to fix the bathroom, which was clearly the worst source of the mold, the protective barrier between the shower and the drywall wasnt even properly sealed and is peeling off of the drywall. We're going to get code enforcement and the department of health involved and see if they think its not worth taking seriously after that. This is my first time leasing a place, and all I can say after this experience, is that I wouldn't recommend leasing a dog turd from these absolute procrastinating cheapskates. Please try to use this company as an absolute LAST RESORT! Some of the staff treat their renters like garbage! I have never ever submitted a bad review, but this story needs to be told. I've been renting from them for almost 4 years and while they are not great, I haven't had any significant problems until last month when one of the bedrooms in my 2 bedroom apartment flooded. They did make the repairs taking about 17 days, I called the day it happened Sept 31st and left a VM, the repairs were finished by Oct 17th. I had to move out of the bedroom and closet during these 2 1/2 weeks. Chris (maint. mgr) was decent enough as we communicated and handled logistics. When it was done I kindly asked for a rent discount due to being displaced. Chris needed to check with Angela. I never heard from Angela, so I placed a call myself leaving a VM. Angela did not return that call, so I reached out on the 1st to discuss a rent discount. I described the level of inconvience and burden the situation had put on my family including the damage and the extra expenses of the dispacement which included having to get a hotel one night due to fumes bothering my 5 year old. I was not asking her to reimburse for any of those things, just to provide some understanding and reasonable discount for a tenant that did not have full access to the home for a couple weeks. I reminded her of my longevity and that I never asked for anything like this. She continued to BELITLE my story deflecting responsibility and arguing that me and my child were not displaced and had full use of the home except the bedroom. I was upset saying something like, "I guess having my closet in my kitchen for 2 weeks is having full use. I will pay the rent and leave you alone about it." She then hung up on me. It was the most UNPROFESSIONAL interaction I have had! These are people's homes who pay rent and should be treated with respect. Not returning the 1st two messages was BAD BUSINESS, but DISPARAGING and BULLYING a client is being a terrible person. A little follow up, compassion, and a gentle "no" would have sufficed. This company (if you could even call it that) is soooo bad! DO NOT rent from these scammers! I wasn't even an official tenant YET! I was given a tour by the owner of the property management no less, so you'd think Angela would know her business and how it runs. I told her multiple times that I was having my mom as a co-signer on my lease. I asked her how much the deposit would be and if I needed to pay first and last months rent. She said that is all dependent on my credit score. We finally got everything in place and did a credit check and I was approved. My mother and I signed this waiver saying if we pull out of the application process before I move in it will cost $200. A little odd but ok? We signed it because she is my co-signer and I had no plans on backing out. A month rolls by and still no call and no move in date that was not "tentative". I call to ask about the rent. They say I have to pay A SECOND SECURITY DEPOSIT! WTH?! Why you may ask? Because apparently when you have a co-signer you are required to pay a second deposit. Which is BS and makes no sense whatsoever, having a co-signer is more of a security. I was upset but agreed I needed a place ASAP. Finally my tentative move in date comes around. I received no call for me to sign a lease. I finally called and found out they haven't even fully prepped my apartment for me, or typed up my lease! YOU HAVE HAD 2 MONTHS! How are you this bad at your job?!? How is that humanly possible?! I finally told them I'm backing out and will not be paying that $200 because they did not tell me before we signed the waiver that I had to come up with a second deposit. I have them on recording saying I don't have to pay just in case they try to screw me over again. Because that's who these people are and they operate. -100/10 so awful. read more

5 years renting same house. Our first problem, the refrigerator was leaking water from freezer to refrigerator. Sent repairman. He diagnosed problem and we received another either same day or the next. Have had the water heater and stove either fixed or replaced. No we don't have brand new appliances but everything works. The kitchen has orange counter tops which I LOVE and my husband hates! He complains to me constantly that the shower is too small. We treat this house and property as if it were ours and we pay our rent on time. We aren't perfect, but we have a good relationship with Premier Property Management and find they are easy to work with even if they won't make my husband's shower bigger! read more

DO NOT RENT OR DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! I gave them a $4,000 deposit on a house. I lived in the home for 8 years, never missed a single payment and left the home spotless. The only reason I moved out was because the owners put the house on the market. I moved out almost two months ago, and the house has been up for sale for almost 1 month, and I have not seen a penny of my $4,000. When I asked about getting the deposit, Angela said it takes her a long time to find out if the final utilities have been paid. REALLY ANGELA??? It took me all about ten minutes to call every single one of utility companies to pay the final bill 2 months ago. Come on moron!! Get your shit together and give me my money back!!! WARNING!!! Was charged first months, last months, and a double deposit to move into a place and was given HALF of that back. We scrubbed the place with bleach before we left, we had the carpets cleaned, the whole nine yards was done and they still charged us extra. We paid over $1800 to move in and barely got $900 back. Bunch of scam artists that want nothing but to steal your money. Hope they sleep well at night knowing they are awful people. read more

I realize it says all this in the application form, but I am deeply disappointed with this company. I and a few room mates were looking at a few places that were in our price range. We were very excited to see there was actually a company with nice rentals. A quick background, we all have jobs and prestige ones at that, all college graduates and past the stage of partying, non-smokers and no pets!!! (perfect renters...right?) Upon requesting a time to look at a specific location, we were told we were going to meet with the actual realtor. To our surprise we were greeted by her mom and her son. The mother of the realtor told us it was because "she didn't want to cut into her lunch break." Hmmm alright but it's her job? If you couldn't make it in the time you provided us, then we should have been informed. We had other times we could have met. While looking at the place, the mother of the realtor lacked some professional manners, saying a few obscenities while trying to open the door. During the tour we tried to ask many questions that she had zero answers to, at the end she told us to call her daughter at the office or go online. Long story short, we did not qualify for the place, not because we had bad credit, but because we didn't make three times the amount of rent...per person. Let me ask you this, who does now a day with the economy the way it is. Together we made over 3x the rent. So we were told to either pay double the deposit or find a co-signer who lived in town. Well this presents a new problem I am not from here. I understand the more money you put in the more you have to lose if you are a bad renter, but regardless this is a poor way to handle any business. The company didn't even try to give alternatives or place us some where more fitting. They just turned us way. This just demonstrates that hard work and dedication is not what people are truly looking for and I imagine this is why they continue to get screwed over by renters, because this company does not treat them right from the very beginning. read more

I was just informed today, after having my application for a unit accepted, that due to lack of credit history (I am young, but have an excellent paying, full-time, long-term job that I've worked at for 2 years) Premier Property Management was not only going to charge me for first month rent, last month rent, deposit, but ALSO charge me a "fee" that amounts to the exact amount of one full-month rent. I asked several questions to make sure what it was that they were getting at, and sure enough. They wanted me to pay the equivalent of one month of rent as a "fee" for not having a well-established credit history. This company is finding every way they can to get around Colorado LAW regarding new tenant payments, and pushing that get-around even further by stealing more money from new tenants under the term of "fee." Any company that operates a business in this manner cannot be considered trustworthy, as far as I'm concerned, and leads me to believe that any time spent as a tenant under their management will be filled with problems. Also, as happened with Eek! poster, when I was taken to view the property (I don't know what role the person showing me the unit plays within the company), the person showing was testy, unpleasant, and verbally unprofessional. read more

I agree with everything the previous poster stated. My son was given run around. He is a college student and instead of asking him some questions up front about his qualifications and saving him time, these people showed him properties he liked then asked the questions that mattered. What college town does not allow co-signers? My son would not be paying the rent, we would! This is my third child to attend college and without acceptation, we had no problems securing them apartments based on our A1 credit rating. They wanted my son to show he makes three times the rent per month. How ridiculous to expect this from a college student. If they just said from the beginning they don't accept co-signers and college students have to demonstrate they are making three times the rent per month it would have been okay. Unfortunately he wasted 2 days with these people. My advice- stay away from this company! read more

I am taking the time to update my 1 star review: a local yard business was hired to clean up the vacant property next to me that was mentioned in my prior review. They did a great job with what they had to work with and I am grateful to them for their time and effort in returning the property to a livable state of being with a far better 'curb appeal'. I also appreciate Mike (the Code Enforcement person at the GJ PD) who stepped in on the behalf of the rest of us in the neighborhood, contacting this property management company owner to get the ball rolling when I could not. I would gladly have given this company a high rating if the owner had made the choice to keep promises made 2 months ago to actually care for and about that rental property. Instead, I had 2 months of dismaying outdoor property decline to look at on a daily basis and an 'attitude' and excuses about 'legal loopholes' when she was contacted by phone. Worst Renting experience of my life. Things were constantly going wrong. The doors not locking, dishwasher not working. One time it took three weeks for them to get maintenance out for a leak and then they left a hole in the ceiling for the remainder of my lease. One time he took one of the drawers to fix said he'd be back in an hour and didn't come back for two weeks. When you call the company to talk they are incredibly rude. They might be the worst people I have ever met in my life. They made my stay miserable. When things went wrong in my apartment I would get sick thinking of calling cause i knew it would be a fight just to get them to listen to me and make an appointment for them to come fix it. They are Horrible people. On top of everything getting your deposit back is impossible. Whatever you do, DONT RENT FROM PPM. Do yourself a favor and find a company that actually cares about their tenants! read more
