A growing family practice with young, modern doctors…read more Dr. Edward C. Chen is my primary physician, but I have seen Dr. Kevin King as well. I like being able to have access to both in case one is booked up or on vacation. The doctors went to med school together (at SLU) and performed their internships together and so their practice is quite integrated. Both doctors have a very pleasant attitude, listen well, answer as many questions as you have, and take a lot of notes. Everything is computerized so there is no need to wait for someone to "pull your file." There is very little wait time for an appointment, usually the next day. The office is comfortable and modern, the walls adorned, in part, by a nice selection of Dr. Chen's remarkable photography. There are several clean and bright exam rooms and even though they allow you as much time as you need, are run quite efficiently by their friendly and competent staff. They are on staff at Mercy hospitals and provide service to people of all ages, babies thru seniors. Once registered, you can use a web app to schedule appointments, send email questions directly to your doctor, conduct video chat visits, view test results, keep track of immunizations, and much more. I plan to stay with Dr. Chen for good, and I highly recommend that you check this practice out.

The ladies up front are so friendly and helpful! We filled out new patient forms and were seen right at our appointment times. I know it's hard to imagine, but we hardly had to wait at all. I went back in a few days later for blood work and they called me back earlier than my appointment time! Dr. Busch and her staff are wonderful. I completely agree with Julie P. on this one, that the doctor and Diane, her nurse are fantastic! They never seem too busy to address your concerns. I have been seeing Dr. Busch for over a year now and I just love her and all the staff in the practice. They are prompt, caring, and I have never felt rushed when I have a lot to talk about with Dr. Busch or Diane, her nurse. They put up with me being a bit of a hypochondriac and I can usually get appointments within 24-48 hours. Dr. Busch is also sensitive to my income limitations and always tries cheaper medicines first and gives me samples when she has them. The practice includes two male doctors as well. Dr. Busch and one of the others treat children as well as adults. BONUS- they is an urgent care facility in the same building!

They told me that they reached out to a company that excepted Medicare and that they placed the order and I should hear back from them shortly. Waited a few days , called the office back and told them that I hadn't heard back from anyone. The gave me the number and told me I could try contacting them myself. I called the C-Pap parts place and was told that the doctors office didn't give them the information they needed to fill the order. So I called the doctors office back and was told that they had sent ALL the paper work back to the parts place. Called the parts place back and was told they needed a signed order as to why this was medically necessary. Called doctors office back and was told I needed to contact my ENT doctor back or the place where I had the sleep study done. Told the lady that I didn't have a ENT doctor and that I had given them the name of the place where I had the sleep test done to begin with. They contacted them and found out that the sleep study place did not deal with Medicare. That's when the doctors officetold me the had contacted this outside company who sold parts ans delt with Medicare. Now Dr Gage'soffice is telling me that Dr Gage refused to sign off on me being able to get the parts I need for my C Pap machine. I have never delt with a more incompetent Doctor or doctors office staff. Stay clear of this man.

Their referral department policy is to wait until the day before the appointment to send it and normally it doesn't get there in time, Waste of your time and the specialist you waited a month to see. Getting the referral sent requires a lot of time calling and holding on phone for 20 minutes at a time- babysitting staff to do their job, for two days prior to your appointment. Disgusting how this process is handled at this office. Dr Gage is ok as a doctor but your only as good as your team .....

I haven't had any issues with the billing as a previous reviewer stated. I just know that there will be the office visit co-pay and additional co-pays for additional procedures. This is my go to when I am sick and don't want to wait for the MD or go to the ER.
