I EVEN did the due diligence to call FIRST and I ASKED if they accept BC/BS insurance. They said YES. They THEN allowed me to come in for a WELL VISIT, literally a visit for a CHECK UP! Took my blood pressure, height/weight, asked a bunch of medical history questions etc. Then, as I'm leaving they demand $100 from me for a "co-pay" (my ins policy doesn't HAVE any co-pays), then a week later I get a bill via email for ANOTHER $197!! Almost $300 out of pocket because BC/BS says they're "out of network" when I FOUND "Elite" Primary Care ON THEIR WEBSITE! This is fraud. This is bait-and-switch BS. They're ripping people off. I've put in calls to file complaints w/ the Office of Civil Rights at the U.S. HHS Office, and I've got a call into the TN State Insurance Commissioner's Office as well. This predatory crap has GOT to stop. Avoid this place like the plague.

The office charges are ridiculous, doctors are over booked and over worked (it took 4 months to get an appointment with my designated primary care provider). In the mean time I was shuffled around to multiple PA's and other MD's, none of who had any idea of what could possibly be affecting my sinuses and vision. I won't even go into the billing BS. My case is with the state of Tennessee now. I can't even recommend a decent replacement outside of driving an hour to and from Nashville.

I was not put in as a scheduled appointment when I came in. So I just keep getting pushed as a walk in further and further out. people are added to scheduling as appointments and are getting seen around me. I asked the rude receptionist 2 times if I was coming up. I also asked if I could switch to a scheduled time, now that it's over 2 hours. The receptionist response is now I will still have to wait a while, even if she puts me in a scheduled spot over a hour from now. Lesson learned, schedule before you go. because instead of being accommodated into a scheduled opening. They leave you as a walk in. and you wait for hours.
