He explained every medication before giving it to me, made sure I understood what to expect, and even got me a blanket to help keep me comfortable. One nurse also went out of her way to bring me the fluids I requested since I hadn't eaten that morning, and even brought me food. That level of compassion and attentiveness truly stood out. This experience was night and day compared to my previous experiences before Vanderbilt took over, and I genuinely believe they are on track to providing this community with the level of care patients deserve. All solely because she lacked the clinical competence and confidence in her own knowledge to have a calm discussion about her findings and reasoning with me when I calmly asked a simple question. I can honestly say my family has never dealt with such an unprofessional provider in our lives. She refused adequate treatment, barely even listened to my daughter's lungs, and became so upset and defensive at one simple question that only required clarification to given, that she didn't do her job effectively. This required us to go to another urgent care in town, pay a second copay, and all just to have the MD say what we already knew - that our daughter needed to be treated for pneumonia. Whoever's the overseeing physician is - they need to get rid of this NP or at the very least provide her with more education so she can feel comfortable enough in her own skills to be able to calmly and concisely defend her medical decisions as any actual provider would. I lost my retainers, so I went in to get a replacement. I was told to keep my molds in case of a ai loose them. To my surprise there were two top molds and no bottom. So if I wanted to get a replacement somewhere else, I couldn't. 4. It's been less than a month since I lost them and they are saying I have to get new molds, because they assume my teeth have shifted so much in a couple of weeks that they would not fit smh. I am very disappointed, but I have no choice but to go to them for the replacement. because if I go somewhere else without molds, they charge an arm and a leg SMH.
