They want all your information only to connect you with someone who has no clue how to run a business. Only one word I can use for the "Angi" website - HORRIBLE. Anyway, this so called company they connected me with goes by Flint Rock Construction LLC. There is a home builder in the area that also has the same name. From what I have been told and can see from their website, they build really nice homes. This guy who contacted me is named Jason (never gave a last name), big, bald, fat guy, in his mid to late 40s. I think he uses their name because they have a good reputation, something he lacks. The card he gave me is laid out and reads as follows: Flint Rock Construction, LLC Stamped/Specialty Concrete Structural/Retaining Walls Jason 254-721-4241 Belton, Texas On the back he hand wrote FlintRockConcrete@gmail.com This guy, Jason, contacted me on 10/15/21 saying he got my information from "Angi". We met the next day at my property to discuss the work I wanted done, he showed up late. We spent at least an hour talking about what I wanted done. Part way through the conversation he started talking about metal buildings. He was really trying to push me into buying a metal building from him, for the ridiculous price of $20k. I have looked at metal building in the past and you can buy them on line, with free delivery and setup for about a third of his $20k. Anyway, he just kept pushing metal buildings so I went along with him. I told him I was really interested but actually I was not. I just wanted to see what he was trying to do. He kept telling me how many he had built for people and that he even lives in one. I kept going a long with him but noticed every time I told him I would want something a certain way he would say no I did not and kept pushing things the way he wanted. I finally cut him off and brought our conversation and meeting to a close. I told him to send me a quote and he said he would the next day. Today is 11/19/21, I am still waiting on that quote. I contacted him twice over the last month and both times I got the same response, he was waiting on pricing. This guy appears to have little to no knowledge when it comes to construction or business. Again, his name is Jason. As I showed above on what his card says, no last name. He appears to be a shady character. He uses different company names, different locations. His card says his business is located in Belton, TX but if you look it up on line it says it is located in Temple, TX. During our conversations I asked him 3 different times where his business was located and he acted line he did not even know. Very shady character. Be careful if you decide to have any type of dealing with this guy, I found a review on line about his so called company that is very similar to mine. Again, be careful.
