James Albittar and Green Oak Exteriors did a complete roof replacement (shingles, underlayment, fittings, etc) on the large, complex hipped and dormered roof of my single family home in Bristow. It's beautiful! James navigated the often frustrating insurance-claim process including requesting and attending the insurer's inspection by an independent engineer to make sure the needed repairs were covered as fully as possible. Insurance covered part of the roof, James offered me a very competitive price to replace the entire roof for better durability and looks, and included by default top quality synthetic underlayment, architectural shingles, standard warranties, color-matched vents, and even painting the vent pipes to match the shingles. The job took one day and the roofing crew left my yard neater than it's been in weeks :) And throughout James, John, Andy and others from Green Oak were patient, careful, and pressure-free. Highly recommended! By the way, I found setting a 2'x2' big shingle sample board - or a few full size shingles on a board - in a sunny spot in the yard and looking at it next to the house overall was a great way to make up my mind among competing shingle colors (the individual tabs are a range of colors in a set of tones). After a windstorm pulled away most (and eventually all) of the siding on one face of our townhouse, a neighbor suggested that we contact Green Oak Exteriors. We did, and our experience with them was great! They came out to look at the situation immediately and were very attentive with frequent calls to update us on all aspects of the ensuing repair/replacement. They guided us through the lengthy process with our homeowners insurance (lengthy through no fault of Green Oak) and even filed all the necessary paperwork with our HOA, for me.
