I'm not quite sure why they changed from the relatively comfortable digs at 56th and Post Road (which was actually built for them) to an obviously older and far more disheveled building at 16th and Post Road. I needed to snag some documentation so I could complete some paperwork for my father. Surprisingly, I didn't have it. In the old days, it was super easy to just drop in. Sure, you waited. Yet, you could stop in and get served and be on your merry way. These days, the emphasis is on web-based experiences. They also suggest an appointment for most situations, though an appointment is not actually "required" except for a few services. I arrived noting, with some dismay, that there's not a single true ADA spot here unless you go to the employee side of the building where there's two. The front entry has a two-sided double-entry with glass doors. As you enter, there's security to the right and two kiosks where you sign in. You sign in even with appointments, though it appeared appointment times were generally honored. I initially entered and saw all the "make an appointment" signs and freaked. Then, I saw all the "you can accomplish this online" and freaked out. So, I went back to my car (there's no one really offering anything resembling customer service) and tried to call them. After going through a mazes of automated/AI responses that weren't what I needed, I may have screamed "Give me a fu**ing human." Strangely enough, that worked and within seconds I was connected with a human. Even more strangely, that human was surprisingly kind and helpful. As expected, she could not help because I was acting on behalf of someone else. She encouraged me to go into a branch - I noted being in the branch parking lot, and she encouraged me to just walk-in. So, I went back in (I didn't walk, of course. I still haven't mastered that skill). I finally realized the kiosks were there and signed in. The waiting area is basically BMV-like. It's a large room. The employees all sit behind shielded booths and when you get called you go to the associated booth. It's weird and very industrial and stunningly impersonal. Fortunately, I was served by a very nice woman who knew her stuff and resolved my concern fairly quickly (after about a 45-minute wait to see her). All in all, I was pretty stunned to get my issue resolved in one day. So, that keeps my 3-star from being a 2-star. Access? There's one parking spot with a VERY faded wheelchair symbol and the spot isn't close to ADA. The only two spots I saw were on the employee side - so much so that an employee who saw me pointed out the entry was on the other side of the building. They do have an accessible restroom. Most of the booths seem fairly accessible, though most have two chairs in them. I had to move chairs to move up to the counter. The security guard was fine - neither gruff nor friendly. Certainly not helpful. It's simple. A lot can be resolved online these days. Try it. Calling can also help. However, there are those reasons you have to go in and you just have to get through it. It's not great. It's not awful. It's the government (Hey, I can say that. I work for the government).

We can say it's embarrassing or we can count it a blessing. Today we filled out an application to see if Tony qualifies for Medicaid to help with his medical bills. If he does it will be a blessing. Even with insurance just one of his medicines is $780.00 a month. Two people working with us have told us to apply. We both receive Medicare so we are not rich by far. The people here are very busy and yet they are helpful and most of them are still smiling after dealing with many people all day long. Be kind and gentle to everyone. That's what your likely to get back!

I visit this location to vote, and, more rcently, to donate food items to their little, free food…read morepantry. I have voted at this location for several years, but this last election was a trial. I am a handicapped senior citizen with several health issues; and I had to stand in line for more than 2.5 hours before being able to cast my vote. There was no place to sit down. The line snaked through the building and finally there were 2 chairs near the front entrance - after I had been standing for more than 2 hours. I was in tears by the time I was able to cast my vote because of the physical pain I was suffering. While standing in line, I noticed some people were being given immediate access into the building to vote and I realized that if I had brought my cane, or appeared to be more physically distraught, I might not have had to stand so long outside. The obvious appearance of a physical impairment does not always indicate which people suffer from chronic medical issues. PLEASE, Warren Township Trustee employees/voting workers, etc., make it easier for people with medical and/or physical impairments to cast their votes. DO NOT be selective in your choice of whom to admit into the building ahead of others in line. If any person with a medical and/or physical problem needs easier access to enter the building to vote, put up a sign, or have a designated person available at all times to usher them inside.

Today I went down to the Warren Central Government Center. Why would I go there on a Sunday…read moreafternoon when they're only open Monday-Friday? I went because as a good American citizen and exercising my right as an American Citizen, I went done there to VOTE! There are some court hearings that take place in that building and there has been voting for many years. The building itself is very well kept and has been kept very clean every time I've been in it. Why do I vote? It's my right and I Need to vote so the people I want to speak for me have a little better chance to get in their positions. Get out and vote early. We know nothing will interfere with our voting because we're done. If you don't vote, don't complain about the people in government.voting is your chance to try to put the people in office that you believe will serve our people best. I'm proud to be an American

This is a serious bingo night and can be overwhelming to a novice such as yours truly. Still fun once you get the hang of it. It is a nice hall depending on your event.

There may have been one around the corner, but it was not in the open for me to see from the entrance. I went into the lobby and got in line. The young woman who assisted me was fast and efficient (Clerk #77 - I didn't catch her name, but that is what was on the bottom of my receipt). I'd watched her with two people ahead of me and she seemed to be very knowledgeable as well. She scanned in my packages, being sure to weigh them for accuracy. She then asked if I needed any stamps or anything to take home. I declined. She printed my receipt and highlighted the tracking info in two places. She did this all with the utmost professionalism and a smile. Kuddos to her!
