We happened to use Amos twice. The first time- for the fire in commercial building, and the second-for vandalism in a different commercial building. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at the beginning. I spoke with our insurance agent, and she didn't recommend using a public adjuster until we see the money from the insurance company. And only to hire one if we don't feel like we got enough to cover the loss. That was a big mistake to follow her advice... it is imperative (!!) to provide proper data and documents from start. Providing proper information, will increase your chances of getting a much larger settlement. Here is how it played out for us. Amos helped us to double (!!) the settlement for fire, and triple the amount of proceedings for vandalism. Should we hired Amos for vandalism from start (again, we were trying to save money on hiring a public adjuster thinking what could go wrong with this claim ), we would have received even more... Spoke to Bill on the phone today- he canceled our meeting saying he has a "family emergency." I spent a long time emailing him the paperwork he requested, then he was denying getting some of my emails (but technology doesn't lie) he just couldn't take responsibility for not looking thru his emails. Premiere Public Adjusters only want to help home owners with huge disasters. If your disaster is less than 30k, I would forget about using them. They made up excuses of why they would have to charge 40% for their work. Most attorneys work for less than 40%!!
