I purchased the 30 minute treatment because I was apprehensive about it. I've never had my teeth professionally whitened but always wanted to try it. I drank coffee everyday for 17 years, so my teeth were not their pearliest. The spa doesn't look very inviting from the outside but the inside surprised me. I wasn't expecting to walk up a staircase under a chandelier and end up in a serene spa and esthetics school. The sound of water trickling and calming music gave me a sense of escape from bustling Tampa. After filling out the necessary paperwork my esthetician brought me in and thoroughly explained the process. This treatment had so many steps and safety measures. I even had to apply sunscreen to my face. She made me as comfy as possible and left the room after I was settled in. The thirty minutes felt long. It was tiresome on my face to hold my mouth open that long. Plus I have gum recession so I was sensitive to everything. I suppose it was worth the slight inconvenience. After the 30 minutes my teeth had whitened up a few notches. I was sent home with instructions and dietary restrictions. The list items were easy enough to avoid for 48 hours. My poor gums were so sore I couldn't floss for three days. Overall the results were worth the price and I would recommend to anyone looking to whiten their teeth on a budget. Since my mouth is sensitive I may spend a boatload on what my dentist offers. Lovely spa I'd like to return to for other services.

During my initial consultation, I was told to pay upfront and that I'd be reimbursed by my insurance. At no time was I told they were out of network. Later, I found out the hard way that I would not be getting my full refund. The first claim came through in September for less than $400. I was told a second check would be coming, but because the office submitted two of the same claims incorrectly, I'm still waiting on money that's owed to me months later. I've called to follow up and received no return calls -- completely unprofessional. I feel scammed and taken advantage of. As a widow and single mom just trying to take care of myself again after losing my husband to cancer, I trusted this local dentist and was met with dishonesty and negligence. It's heartbreaking to think a place in our own community would treat patients this way. If you value honesty, communication, and respect -- look elsewhere.
