I was getting a Brazilian wax today and an employee unlocked the waxing room with a key and walked in, without any type of warning. When I let her know that was unacceptable she just blamed it on my waxer. After I was done and went to pay, she was telling the other employees about what happened in the room, and laughing about it. When I asked to speak to a manger/ owner they told me she wasn't at the salon. I asked for her phone number from the receptionist and that's when three women came in my face and started bombarding me. I paid and then walked out. When I left I called the manager, Sepideh. I explained to her what happened, she then proceeded to tell me that she was in fact there, and she saw exactly what happened. So they lied to me, a paying, loyal customer. The manager just apologized, said there is nothing she could do, then hung up on me. I have been coming to this location for over 10 years. Somehow every time I come it gets worst and worst. I always go to the same person, I specifically ask for her, and I absolutely love her. She's nice, she's patient, and she actually listens to me as her customer. The rest of the employees is what makes this place unbearable. They are rude, disrespectful, and they will sit there, talk about you, point at you, and even laugh in your face. They have absolutely no manners. The ceiling of the room I typically get waxed in is falling apart. I emphasize the last time I was there that I don't want to get waxed in that room until it was fixed. I came a month later and it was still not broken. This is how a business fails. read more

Awesome place for eyebrow threading (and more!) conveniently located in Wesley Chapel off Bruce B Downs in a Publix shopping plaza. Tons of parking available. They have such convenient hours available - I stopped in on a Saturday evening and they close at 9p so I was thankful I could get my eyebrows threaded so late in the night. The receptionist at the front desk is always so friendly and I usually call ahead to check if my favorite lady Sepideh is working. Sima is also wonderful! Even though I live in a different city now, I still make a point to return and get my eyebrows done by her as often as possible. She is amazing at changing styles depending on what the customer wants; both my brother and I get ours done by her, and she's great at doing his in a very clean, natural way while mine are much more shaped, as per my tastes. I took a leap of faith and I couldn't be happier. I likr my hair long and I go months without getting a trim because I have nightmares about getting too much trimmed. Although I've loved my stylist in WC area for 2+ years, he's very busy and hard to secure appointments z not to mention $$$. This salon is tight next to the cycling studio I go to, so I decided to give it a go after reading some glowing Yelp reviews! I called Steve on the morning of 0900, was seen within 30 min. He trimmed just 1/2 inch all around, with some layers around the sides. He also shampooed, styled (blow dry & flat iron), beautifully. He listened to exactly what I wanted! I waited to give a review for 2 days because a good hair cut us always more evidential after a day or 2, after your own home shampooing. I don't do anything to my hair usually after washing it, I like to wash and go, put a little hair serum. This is the result. His hair cut left my hair looking healthy, shiny and just overall great! I'm not a local here. I noticed my colleague with beautiful brows so I had to ask where she gets them done. She told me this specific location and that I had to go to Ina. Ina did NOT disappoint. I'm super picky with my eyebrows, and I asked her for a cleaning. She made sure she kept my shape and literally just cleaned where it needed to be. She stopped after the first brow to make sure I was happy, which I was. The pricing is amazing too; only $10 for eyebrow threading. I wish this place accepted appointments because I showed up at 12:10p when Ina came in at 12pm and there was already 5 people waiting for her. I took my mom to this salon on Bruce B Downs for threading. The lady messed up my mom's eyebrows and I asked her to correct them, she was not happy with that and kept looking for excuses. I did not like her attitude at all as she looked mad and unprofessional to me. I told the receptionist that I was not happy with the service and yet asked me if I wanted to leave a tip after I paid for the service. When I said no tip, she did not look happy. I took my daughter for Brazilian wax to this place. The lady who did the wax was Mamta. She gave no privacy to get undressed and did not walk my daughter through the process at all, even after knowing it was her first time going. She was exceptionally rude and her attitude was full of judgement. She bruised my daughter badly and left lots of wax on her and told her to clean it with a tissue and hand sanitizer. All the other ladies in the threading area were busy gossiping and giving us weird looks. Me and my daughter both speak and understand Gujrathi and Hindi which are the languages that the majority speak in when they want to gossip. If you do not speak them you will not know they are talking about you! My daughter has a high pain tolerance but Mamta waxed the same area 4 times, this caused my daughter to bruise badly. She continued commenting negatively the entire time and made faces throughout the service. My daughter was in tears when she came out and has no intention of ever waxing again. My daughter and I still paid and gave her tip out of respect and manners. Mamta was nice before going into the room and I did not know my daughters experience with her was going to be so bad. I never write reviews but I do not want anyone else to go through this experience. Please don't take your daughters here for anything. read more

Note: I have a regular eyebrow threader (to whom I'm completely loyal), but I was from out of town and desperately needed them done. Of course, I was hesitant to try a new place, because I didn't want them messed up (and destroy the foundation that me and my eyebrow lady have built). However, I had a great experience. I believe this is another location of Badar's Hair salons, and it's located next to the Publix, so parking was quick and convenient. They saw me right away, and I was warmly greeted at the door. I told them it was my first time at their location, and the lady (I forgot her name) asked me very specific questions about what I wanted done. She was very attentive and did exactly what I asked. So, my eyebrows turned out great! When they're done they give you a Poker chip with their name on it to give to the lady in the front. The price was very reasonable - the same price I pay for back home ($10 - not including tip). And if you get the upper lip done it's $4 (also very reasonable). If I lived here, this would definitely be my regular spot. Although I took off one star (because no one is as amazing as my current eyebrow lady), I still highly recommend this place! read more

Shilpa threaded my eye brows and she did a great job. She was very patient because it can be painful, and I do move around a bit in discomfort sometimes. My wait was not bad whatsoever. She was nice, focused on my eye brows, and I was done. It is convenient to Wiregrass Mall(across the street next to Publix, and that is convenient for me. I really wanted to love this place considering all of the great reviews they have received. I went in on Thursday and the lady that threaded my brows was done within 5 minutes. I told her I just wanted them cleaned up and she seemed a little annoyed with me. Anyway, when she was done I thought they looked alright, a little thinner than I had wanted but not too bad. When I got home, I looked in the mirror and realized she had not done a thorough job. Sure, my eyebrows were shaped, but she did not get all of the stray hairs above and below. So i thought "alright, whatever I can do it myself." Two days later, I have SCABS under my eyebrows from where she was so rough with them. I mean MULTIPLE. You cannot insult your customers like this, Badars. When I said I'll wait for someone else to now FIX my eyebrows, she got a huge attitude and started talking in Hindi to her coworker that she doesn't have hair and she could've waited for who she originally came to see,thinking I do not understand Hindi ,which I do. How very rude and insulting. I saw her even step out to call her Badar's manager too to complain about me! I was wondering what I did as a customer!! She kept asking me if i shave it or pluck it 5 times I said no no I do not. She was crisp and rude and making un-nice comments about me while I waited for another person to fix my monster looking eyebrows that Asma had made. also there was still hair were left on my chin and sides after she was done waxing my face. I should have walked out as soon as I sat in the chair....I went to get a brow wax and I saw that used wax sticks were sitting on top of the wax pot. She then proceeded to wax without cleaning my skin and kept using the same stick throughout the whole process....I am so disgusted by this!! The manager said that it shouldn't have happened, but I know they will continue to do it. The woman apologized to me but you could tell she didn't care/understand and will continue to do it that way. She also didn't check her work to make sure strays weren't left behind (there were several) and there was still wax on my lid. Never again!!! read more
