Before an MRI, you'll visit a room with lockers where you stash your gear and lock it up with a key. Then the MRI is done and the staff will ask you what station you want to listen to. Over the loud machine, I couldn't hear my music, so I essentially had to lose myself in my thoughts and lie bored for about 25 minutes. If possible, request that the music in your headphones be turned up before the procedure.

I arrived to the location a little earlier than the time they said to check in. I had almost no wait when I was called to the check in desk. They verified my insurance information, took my referral, and he told me where to find the restroom, which was needed. After using the restroom, I took a seat in the waiting room. That lobby area is so pretty, it's almost spa like. There is plenty of seating. I wasn't seated long when I was called by the nurse. She led me to the little room and she showed me where to apply the alcohol wipe to prep for the mammogram and how to wear the gown. They also have spray deodorant to apply after the scans. From previous experience, I didn't put on deodorant, and I had my hair pulled back. I don't think I waited more than 5 minutes in that little room when I was called back into the imaging room. The technician was kind, courteous, and respectful. She lead me through a series of 4 scans, 2 on each breast. This time, she had to retake one image because she wasn't happy with the results. She handed me a paper on how to access the online portal. I took it, but knew I wouldn't access it. They told me it would take 3 days for the results. I got a call 3 days later from my primary care saying that there isn't any cancer. Then, I received a letter from them saying the same thing. I also appreciate that they send a reminder letter to get your mammogram done. This place is two thumbs up from me.

Amount due - zero, and if they had taken the time to reconcile their records, they could have saved us all a lot of trouble.

Avoid these people at all costs, they are dishonest (both in person and over the phone) and also charge double what other facilities do if you're not covered.

I was worried that NMCC wouldn't let me continue to receive care from my Radiology Oncologist, but Dr. Pearsall and NMCC are team players. I went in this morning, and everyone is so nice. I can't say enough about Dr. Pearsall's care and professionalism. No detail was too small, in transfering my care-thyroid, IBS, teeth, etc. And, Oh boy--I saw they have a support group for head-throat cancer patients. Something that Albuquerque really needs. I know because I'm a head cancer patient- a survivor.

The lady who he spoke to originally said his medication would be ready in about ten minutes and to have a seat he said that she seemed to have an attitude and was just not the nicest person to him, he ended up waiting almost an hour. He walked back up to the window and was told by a young lady he said was named Arianna the lady helping him originally stepped out and didn't get it filled yet. He said the young lady who helped him after being forgotten about was a much better help and actually got him his medication and was very apologetic for the other worker's treatment towards my grandpa, he grabbed the young ladies name to thank her and said he really appreciated the help that she gave and the kindness she showed him. Sadly just really poor service from initial help.

Dr. Poon performed a RFA on my knee in August and the pain has not returned. I have full range of motion and do not need my brace anymore. I did have to come in for more than one apt, but Dr. Poon explained the procedure process to me in detail so that I would understand. Every time I have called or come into the clinic, the staff is friendly and helpful. I read the previous bad reviews and have to say that I believe them to be unfounded. Anyone with CHRONIC PAIN is willing to put in the work to be pain free. I will gladly do anything Dr. Poon recommends if it will continue to alleviate my pain.
