Very charming inn! The inn is about a mile south from downtown Prescott and Whiskey Row, which is walkable or drivable. The room itself was extremely charming. It had a classic feel, with modern amenities like a comfortable bed with sturdy head board. The A/C was a little loud, but not atypical. The shower was a little slow to drain, but not a problem for quick showers. There are so many nice touches that would make this place a perfect stay for a couples weekend. Checkin was smooth and they sent a text the day of my reservation to verify arrival time and make after hours checkin arrangements (if necessary). They also have a wine bar on site, which I didn't have a chance to try, but contained a nice variety. read more

A friend found this little gem on a booking website. It deserves a great review. Everything about this place is so well done. Cotton sheets, new fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. And the pillows!!!! Huge, fluffy, bury-your-head-in the softness. The furniture is solid wood and appears antique. Bath, very nice. Another fantastic stay! We stayed in the Mesquite Room again. Our room was very clean. This room has a cute front porch with rocking chairs. Rick and Karen made sure our room was ready and cozy. The breakfast was superb. Rick and Karen took care to make sure and accommodate food allergies. My husband's breakfast started with a beautiful parfait made with their homemade granola. He said it was very good. Mine started with a warmed grapefruit that was beautifully prepared. It was incredibly juicy. The main course was a Dutch Baby topped with an amazing orange sauce, strawberries, banana slices and Mandarin orange sections. It was incredibly delicious. The plate was so pretty and included potatoes and melon slices. Their breakfasts are served with juices and coffee or tea. read more

I love this small place. Food is good as is the entertainment. I've been there several times for Friday/Saturday evenings with friends for a glass of wine, a little food and good music. The service is good and the vibe is relaxing. I love the band that plays there sometimes called, 'With Intent' either solo singer or their three piece band. I also love that it's a local music venue so close to home here in Prescott. Living here I haven't stayed at the Inn but it looks cozy! read more

From 5 stars to 3 with a simple change of ownership The previous owners were awesome. The new owner has removed much of the appeal and charm from Prescott Pines. The choice to eliminate the gourmet breakfast from the B&B, drops it to 3 stars for us. The continental breakfast is NOT worth the effort. We tried it once, then went to breakfast elsewhere. During your remodel, why not partner with a local restaurant to provide daily breakfast options for your guests? Without the gourmet breakfast, you're competing with standard hotels. The previous owners understood their market. The new owner has ZERO sense of why people choose a B&B in the first place. We are unlikely to return. read more

We absolutely LOVED our stay here at Prescott Pines. Our room was clean and cozy, and we greatly appreciated the ability to do a late check in as we were traveling up from the Valley. Vino is a wonderful little restaurant and added so much value to our stay. We visited both nights and fell in love with the food, music, and ambiance. Our server the first night was sweet and attentive. She truly made us feel welcome. Our server the second night must have been having a rough day because she was trying to be nice but everything she said almost made it seem like orders that were placed or anything asked of her was an inconvenience. And not just by us, but everyone around us as well. I hope her night got better. On our last day we made a trip over to The Edison. The store is incredible and I hope they open another one in Gilbert, because I'd love to have on close to home. Not only is the store adorable, but the food and coffee were delicious. I appreciate that they offered gluten free bread as a substitute for the breakfast sandwiches. I'm only giving this 4 stars because of 3 reasons: 1. Our coffee maker in the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Something easy to miss from the cleaning staff for sure, but we opted to skip coffee on the patio our first day and make our way downtown. 2. The service the second night at vino. We opted for dessert to go. 3. For as pet friendly as Prescott is, we would have loved to bring our fur babies along. Way overdue on this review - we stayed here back in Mid - September 2020 The definition of the word "Magical" an adjective word: beautiful or delightful in such a way as to seem removed from everyday life. This is what Prescott Pines Inn Bed and Breakfast is to both my husband and I. We were greeted by Karen upon our arrival, she showed us around the Inn and where everything was should we want to come back and explore. Took us to our amazing room "Mesquite" and how to work the fireplace, should we use it. She also told us about a DVD that they have that shows the room where Brook Shields and a few other actors played in the movie and that particular room we were staying in was used in the movies. It's a real boring and slow movie but, so neat to see how the INN looked like before. Beds were so comfy, felt safe, clean, and not having to worry about any thing. It was magical everyday that we were there. We got to disconnect, not have to be around people except for Breakfast, which was not bad at all. Flowers on their property and birds singing in the early morning as I had my coffee on the patio with the rocking chairs was gorgeous. I never ate quiches before in my life. Im not sure why, but oh my goodness - Rick's homemade quiches was UNBELIEVABLE. It was so amazing that I wish he sold his homemade quiches. Their Breakfast in the morning was so delicious, one of the best breakfast that I ever had here in Arizona. On our last day there, we finally met the amazing Chef and Karen's husband, Rick. He was so nice and super friendly. We enjoyed our conversation with him, his enthusiasm, and he didn't seem afraid to be around us, which made us more comfortable of being there at that moment. He is truly a nice guy and both, my husband and I are so happy that we got to meet him. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your Bed and Breakfast! Pure enjoyment and nice way to disconnect from all the craziness. We truly enjoyed being in Prescott and love how the town is so relaxed with so many delicious food. I mean, it's NOT a "Bed and Breakfast" anymore so, they should like.....change the name? When Rick and Karen owned this property, it was one of the best escapes in the state. The owners lived on site and you really felt like you were staying at someone's estate. Be it a rustic estate. But the grounds were so beautiful and for the most part, still are, kind of. But trash bins on the property are now over-flowing (when we stayed there this summer), there are no high tops on the lobby patio like before with cool little checkers and chess games. Corny? Yes. But dang man when you vacation in places like Prescott, that's what you want! Down home comfort. That is all gone, replaced with the cold feeling of a Holiday Inn. It seems like the new owners specialize in big city hipster bars and nightclubs, which is a fine business. But it completely doesn't fit this property. The rooms are now more run-down, I'm guessing because the old owners would fix a lot of things more frequently, and better. The breakfast is gone. Technically the new PT staffers will bring yogurt and fruit to your room in the morning, but like every Red Roof Inn has a continental breakfast too, so not impressed. And I can run down to the Circle K myself for that quality. In 2022, Prescott Pines is simply another dumpy motel along Route 89. No thanks. Owners matter in the hospitality business bro. read more

We stayed for (1) night in January. Reservations/booking was super easy and they were very accommodating (and understanding) when I realized I booked the wrong date (duh). We got the front cottage, facing the road. It was clean, nice, & comfy. I'm rating this a 4 because the bathroom was "eh". The shower was tiny and didn't seem clean. This property is about 5 minutes away from town too which could be a plus or negative, based on what you're looking for. We love Prescott Pines Inn!!! What can I say except fabulous!!! They went out of their way to ensure that our four night stay over the Thanksgiving holiday was fantastic!!! I sent a list requesting about 20 items to cook Thanksgiving dinner for my family and they made sure every item was there! Friendly folks and super attentive!!! Demi was great and helped a lot during our stay!!! Everyone here is helpful and accommodating and the lodge was simply perfect!! From the moment we arrived, Karen and Rick made us their family! We were welcomed with my favorite beverage, coffee, and freshly baked banana bread. The room was beyond our expectations and there was a Hollywood moment in our room, too. In addition, the furniture was very comfortable and the king size bed was so comfortable. Then, breakfast seemed like a 6 course meal. The food was abundantly supplies, along with 2 juices as well as croissant French toast that was like the 4th of July in our mouths. LOVE LOVE LOVE this B&B! I accidentally made the reservation for the wrong weekend. They were very accommodating and able to move me to the correct date with no issues. The aesthetics of this place are so cute and cozy with plenty of tranquil sitting areas on the property (hammock, fire pit, bistro tables, etc). For breakfast they'll have you choose a time slot. Breakfast was very yummy with my favorite being a breakfast pie dish that the chef made (not sure what it was called but so yummy). My wife and I drove here in our Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite and was able to park in front. They have a nice selection of AZ and California wines. The Cheese Board was excellent. I'd like to give this wonderful place 6 stars! We have stayed in many beautiful places around the world, but this,,,,,this is the best! Karen took such good care of us from the moment we stepped into the inn. The whole place is darling! The attention to detail is what I just loved. The gas fireplace, the robes, the decor, the wide variety of coffees and teas, etc. Cozy, cozy, cozy! The breakfast is worthy of its own paragraph! Homemade parfait with granola (so yummy!) and then a egg and hash browns with cheese roulade! Holy moly! Everything was cooked to perfection! This is our second visit to Prescott Pines and it is definitely one of our favorite Bed and Breakfasts in the Western States. Our group of four was immediately greeted by a friendly host and seated in a comfortable room with a couch and soft chairs where we could relax following a long work day. Our server (Ashley maybe?) was attentive and considerate. The owner has selected an excellent variety of wines for consumption, from whites to reds including port. Their menu offers numerous choices, although was limited on the GF to mozzarella skewers (although GF crackers were available when I asked). My friends enjoyed the dessert (again, not GF). Third time staying here, second under the ownership of Rick and Karen. We LOVE this place and will def, def be back even though we have a hard time finding decent places to eat dinner in Prescott (seriously, we have tried a lot of places and the best food we eat is CONSISTENTLY the best in town). Both Rick and Karen are very personable, knowledgeable of the area, and accommodating. Communication is friendly, efficient, and not overwhelming and the room we stayed in, a different one from the last times, was clean, organized, welcoming, and just perfect. There are quiet areas to sit and chillax and cornhole boards to pass time between adventures. We drove up via the I-17 and drove home down through 89/Wickenburg which was curvy in spots and made my wife a tad nauseous so plan ahead for that if you choose that route. Wow. What a disappointment. When we booked our stay, we weren't aware that this was no longer a Bed and Breakfast. Offering a 15% discount at a place in the square is a nice gesture, but does not make up for not being made aware that this is no longer a Bed and Breakfast. It's not the same place that we'd come to enjoy over the past several years. The grounds are not kept in beautiful, clean condition like the previous owners had done. Gone is the 'old town charm' from the moment you walk into the lobby, and in its place, is cheap looking, sterile furniture. I understand that the dining room is now a wine room and it too, has lost its appeal. I will say though, that the people we encountered who work there, were all very nice and did their jobs well. I will be on the search for a different place to spend our get-a-ways. read more

This bed and breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. We were looking forward to our stay here after going to antelope canyon. We were greeted by Rick and Karen upon arrival and felt very welcomed. We stayed in the mesquite room and it was very cozy and clean. The new owners (past 2 years) are very accommodating and kind. My husband and I don't eat dairy so they changed the morning menu for us! It was delicious. The syrup he made for the waffles was AMAZING! Overall, the property is quiet and well manicured. We played corn hole and sat out at the gazebo for a glass of wine during the evening. The room was clean, well decorated, spacious, quiet, comfortable, and well stocked. The location, in my opinion, was perfect. The hosts and staff were kind, professional, helpful, and personable. The truly amazing part of my stay was the daily breakfast. I cannot say enough good things about the food. A two-course gourmet breakfast was served each morning that was so delicious and filling, I did not need to eat again until dinner time.
