I switched over from Walgreens because I am so tired of my medicine being out of stock or delayed. Walgreens is open 24 hours yet there is always a line and some pretty shady characters hanging around. Persciption Den had my meds in stock and ready in 15 minutes. This is a small "mom n pop" pharmacy. I have had prescriptions filled with them for almost 20 years and they have CONSISTENTLY provided fast, courteous and competent service. Someone will always answer the phone quickly; no annoying phone menus, and when they say they will call you back, THEY DO! They tell you when your scrips are ready, and sometimes (most times) they'll call the Dr on your behalf for refills (if available). If you like waiting in lines, by all means try a big chain pharmacy, but if you would rather have prompt friendly service, try Prescription Den. read more

Somehow I opened pandoras box. I went to a Dr I saw on TV, that Dr tells me I have to see my primary doctor asap. I guess drinking an espresso before having your blood pressure taken makes things go haywire?? My primary doctor which is located in Selden is across from Prescription Den. My primary doctor says you need these meds, where should I send them. I see this "Prescription Den" next door? Can you send it there, I'm in a hurry. The pharmacy is run by a local pharmacist. It's not a big chain, but a locally owned business. I tell the pharmacists I also need Vitamin D pills? The young man shows me a shelf with every vitamin known to man. It was nice to leave the doctors office, walk to Prescription Den and have my meds waiting for me. No waiting, it was a quick transaction. I love quick! If you're close to the medical group, consider filling your prescription at Prescription Den. Nice friendly staff and quick service, 5 yelp stars from me. read more

Got so tired at CVS of waiting forever for the phone to be answered, for my prescription to be ready, for the line to actually move. Prescription Den is so fast - I usually call as I am walking out of the doctors office to my car, and they let me know 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or it's already ready for pick up. And the pharmacist is wonderful about letting us know about the prescriptions. I will never never go back to CVS. read more

Absolutely the best pharmacy around. Do not care where I live on Long Island, prescription den is my forever pharmacy. They always go above and beyond. If you need something and they do not have it (very unlikely) they will get it. Always have smiles on their faces and get to know you and your family. I hate going to the doctor I rarely do, mostly because of the hassle it is with the medical system, weather it be waiting in a waiting area full of sick people but I reluctantly went to the doctor because I was legitimately sick, I dragged my self to the doctor and I was glad that they sent it to prescription den, it may be a little "hole in the wall" small place but I promise you will NOT ever get better customer service anywhere else! They do it all for you, they added a coupon from online and got my copay down to a $1 lol they are so fast and friendly! Literally in and out of the pharmacy in 5 minutes tops (lines and payment included!) I switched my whole family to Prescription Den because it was so easy and fast, it is the definition of a mom and pop shop, Mukul (the owner and pharmacist) is so genuine and wholesome he runs his business so efficiently I'm actually proud and so appreciative that places like this still exist because it's a nice refresher and reminder or what actual customer service is!
