This one hurts my heart to write but my experience was so awful it needs to be written. I love the pink elephant, i am a frequent shopper here. But i will sadly never be back. I had something in my hand, and put it back bc there was no way i was giving my money to someone who was rude to me. I asked the owners to unlock a cabinet for me, & so they ask where. Well the store is huge so i'm like oh in the back, this way & i pointed. One of them says "in the back, in the corner?" & because it was in the BACK, CORNER ROOM, i say yes i think so. Lady grabbing the keys, extremely nice. Other one, not so much. Nice lady follows me with keys, has wrong one no biggie, still extremely nice about it. Other owner comes over as the other one is grabbing the correct keys and says "Did she get it?" I say "oh! she had the wrong keys she's going grab them" kindly. She decides to say to me "Well this isn't the back corner. That's why she had the wrong keys." I say okay.... She says "that's on YOU" rudely and points at me. Yeah. Sadly i can't come back. I did nothing wrong & was treated terribly. Amazing store, but she majorly needs to work on her customer service. My 4 friends & I were very baffled. read more

I went in at 11 AM on Tuesday a week ago. I am a black woman, and the owner said they don't sell certain items or open locked cases for people like us. I asked her if it was because I was black and she said that they've just had bad experiences and can't risk it with everyone. She implied she was the owner, but when I asked for her name, she wouldn't give it to me. If anyone's considering going here, look at the negative Google reviews, and look at how she responds to her customers. Horrible racist business. read more

There's always something to discover here, it's a treasure hunt! We used to shop here before it changed owners. We loved it. The new owners have spruced the place up, added new sellers and awesome new finds. But they also added some extra $ to the price tags. My only beef is the pricing. Otherwise I'd go 5 stars. The staff are amazing at this antique store. Ensure you have plenty of time to meander through the different nooks and crannies of this well laid out and very clean antique store. Soo much stuff!! When it comes to antiques you have to find that piece that speaks to you and unfortunately I didn't find that piece today but I had fun looking!! The majority of the booths are well stocked with amazing items from vintage holiday stuff to unique barware, books or other vintage tchotchkes. We recommend stopping in and checking it out. Lots of stuff/junk...the few items I picked up were WAY overpriced. An old Jack Kramer tennis racquet for $55...ha! Buy those across the country for less than $20. A paint by number for $125...wow. So bummed, came in here because we had about 20-30 min to spare before our plantation tour. Would have loved to had an hour. I will definitely be back. Everything was clean, dust free, and easy to see vs crammed together and stacked on top of or leaning against. We love to tour antique shops searching for unique items as well as to add to our various collections. They really had a nice variety or the typical but more of the unusual items. This place has so much to look at! It's also within walking distance from my apartment! There are several vendors that have space here. Every time I walk in here I see something I would love to have! Chances are if you see something and really want it you should buy it, it won't stay here long! Definitely give yourself some time to look at everything! They have rooms filled with things and you could spend hours looking. Helpful friendly staff that are willing to open cases and answer all your questions! I've visited here all my life with no issues. It's basically a tradition to browse here. I made a purchase, and when I showed my family, they found that it is an Amazon item. I purchased this item for $180 of hard earned money, when it is mass produced on Amazon for $38. Conveniently, as an "antique" store, all sales are final. I'm disgusted. read more
