I've found myself at this CVS several times, usually to look for odd-end things. Each time I shopped there, I was greeted by someone upon entering. The store is always well-organized and items I need are easy to find. Even though it's a convenience store, it's not super pricey, compared to other grocery stores. Also, they often have sales. If you need to get prescriptions filled, they have a pharmacy. Because of the recent COVID pandemic, they've been out of certain items and have limits on particular items, too. Lately, I've really been into their self checkout lane. It's super easy and an attendant is always around in case you encounter an issue. I went here a little after lunch today to get some prescriptions filled. I went to the drive thru and they had the blinds down as if they were closed. So I called the store and finally got a real person on the line and asked if the pharmacy part was open for filling filling prescriptions today she said yes so my next question was how about the drive thru and she said yes it's open. So I started ringing the buzzer over and over and finally I heard a female voice ask if I was picking up ? I replied no I'm trying to drop off some prescriptions to be filled. She opened the drive thru drawer and took the prescriptions said come back in 2 1/2 hrs. When I returned they had finally opened the blinds. Next time I'll probably go somewhere else. read more

Please do not use for your COVID testing. The service is absolutely abysmal. The appeal of scheduled, drive thru testing is very attractive to limit any further exposure to COVID-19, but please be warned that it is not worth the hassle. After showing symptoms I made an online appointment which was easy and convenient, but that is where the pleasant experience ended. I arrived 10 minutes early for my testing time, but had to wait an hour and 20 minutes before I could even pull up to the window (about 6 cars were in front of me). After more than a week of waiting for my test results, I decided to call CVS COVID hotline, not to ask for results, but a time frame on when results may be available. For reference, the original estimate given was 2-4 days, on day 8 I was growing impatient. I was on hold for 93 minutes before I grew so frustrated I hung up - never even getting to speak o anyone! Then I called the store, another 20 minutes on hold and zero information given. While I can sympathize with an increase in test volume, having zero communication with patients on something this important is preposterous. At the very least, they should send an email with an updated test result time frame. Please do not use CVS for this service! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this CVS. It's like 2 minutes from my apartment and on my way home from work. It's where I get my prescriptions filled for my teeth grinding. They always have my medications ready and text me that my refill is ready even before I realize my bottle is almost out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most importantly their pharmacy is quick! Y'all know what a nightmare it can be waiting on a slow or understaffed pharmacy. I also love the huge variety of snacks they have. a few months ago I went there to pick up an RX. After sitting in the drive-thru for at least 10 minutes, someone finally came on the speaker and told me if I wasn't getting a COVID test I couldn't use the drive-thru. so I parked and went inside and got in line. about 8th in line. CVS usually has a long line at the pharmacy so I dread having to pick anything up there. I usually just have them mail my regular RX's even though it costs more. But my last one was a doctor call in that I needed to start right away. it was going to take four days to get it by mail! read more

great location, smiling service, well stocked aisles, drive through pharmacy - I think they have everything covered..!! The pharmacy line is never too long, they will call/ text me when my order is ready for pickup and they have never screwed up my meds either. I have used this pharmacy for 6 years. The last 4-5 months have been a disaster!! I don't see my regular pharmacist (Shawn or Shane I think) and the staff seems extremely negative now. I'm not sure what happened, this was not from Covid-19, it started in Nov/Dec from memory. It's like a light left the pharmacy and no one there looks happy with themselves or their work. Last week, I decided I will be moving my drugs to an independent pharmacy near my house. This was the last "straw" for me. I came to get my meds and the cashier (SUSAN) was so rude and dismissive that I wanted to confront her attitude and scream at her! I thought to myself, STOP!! I'm sure they are even more stressed right now than I could even imagine. So I cooled my jets, lol. THEN!! As she's ignoring me and asking me to verify my information, she's talking about a customer in the drive thru to the other cashier. She told her co-worker, "let that faggot wait, I told him an hour and it's not ready because I left it next to me so it wouldn't be ready. Them gays are so needy, I'm sure he'll be on a ventilator soon." To say my heart sank, to say my soul hurt, to say I had nothing left in my being to even stand there for 40 more seconds..... I would say, I was broken at second 30! I'm sure nothing will happen to her, and I've chosen to let this post be my message to anyone or everyone. The pharmacy tech is a dick. I would go to any other cvs pharmacy. Always crowded parking lot as well.

This place is a joke when it comes to developing photos for pickup. Submitted ONE photo to be printed at 10am. The order said it would be ready by 11:15am. I went in at 11:30am and was told by an employee I think the printer is not working. She confirmed with someone else and they too were like, "I guess it's not working." Don't show up as an available location if your printer isn't working then! Ridiculous! read more

This pharmacy is conveniently located at the corner of Bluebonnet and Perkins. It's next to Starbucks which is a plus lol. I purchased vitamins which were 2 for one this week. They have regular specials and discounts if you have a CVS card. Which I recommend getting if you like saving money. read more

I moved to B.R. for graduate school and was a patron of this CVS location for about 1.5 years. I can't say enough good things about their pharmacy. They treat you consistently with respect and dignity. They consistently fill your medication and have it ready on time. The prices are consistent and the ease of there store is just superb. Even the one time I had a quantity error issue, they resolved it rather quickly and with ease. I will definitely cherish the B.R. store. I don't know that I will ever find another CVS with this level of quality unfortunately. read more

I use to like this pharmacy. Not so much anymore. The last perscirpiton I had filled there was short 15 pills. Not happy about that. Of course, I can't prove that they shorted me. So from now on, I will count the pills in the bottle before I leave the counter. Total lack of competence with such an important job, and a simple act was not adhered to. The meds that were shorted were for a heart condition. Needless to say, that is sad that they caused me a lot of stress with this. Incompetent is to soft of a description for this kind of care towards customers I can see how this store location is getting bad reviews. I wasn't allowed to post this without giving it at least one star. I went into CVS ( 7777 Bluebonnet Blvd. Baton Rouge , La 70810 ) today @ 1:40 p.m with the intention of being a customer, Instead I left empty handed, humiliated, and angry. I'm a Mother of 3 , I work full-time and starting my own buisness. . I went into the store and attempted to use the ATM. It was out of order so I decided that since I was there with I would stock up on the items I need for an upcoming vacation. Strange things began happening from that point, store employees appeared to be stalking me basically. Then I hear "SECURITY TO THE FLOOR IMMEDIATELY!!! " Very loud over the store intercom. Security then approached me and notified me that a store manager- Steve saw me put something in my purse. I emptied my purse in purse to ensure I had nothing and handed her my items I was going to buy and left. I refuse to ever spend $1 there ever again!I have ONE hour , 5 days a week to take care of my personal buisness. The fact that I wasted the only time I have to be embarrassed and insulted furiates me to no extent! This post is the very beginning on my expressions and will not stop until corrective actions are in place. read more

After 4-5 tries to give this location the benefit of the doubt, I will not go back. A real shame since it is 4 minutes from the house. I HAVE to use CVS because of the demand of my insurance company. I hope it is worth it for the insurance people because CVS is a pain. First I stopped in an spoke with the Pharmacist. Told him we just moved to town and wanted all of me prescriptions filled at his store. He said he would pull all of my history in and fill upcoming prescriptions. 2 weeks later my old CVS out of town told me they had my order ready. I went back to this location and they said they would handle no problem. They did not follow through. I got notification on text that my prescription was now ready at the 7777 Location. I went in, stood for 15 minutes in line, and was told they did not have my prescription and it was not ready. They would put it on order. I then asked the to fill another prescription. They said they would order it in and it would be ready next week. Okay I'll pick both up at the same time. Next week arrives and only 1 ready and the one I desperately needed was not shipped to them. Really? This is nuts. They called another location and told me it would be ready in 1 hour. 3 hours later I was notified it was ready. The individual wrote down the address that was 5 miles away. I show up and they advise they did not have it. I was given the incorrect address. When I spoke to the Pharmacist at 7777 and told how inept they were at that location, he told him all locations of CVS were like that. I agreed and can vouch for that statement at 4 other CVS locations I have dealt with. read more

I just had the unfortunate experience of meeting Michael in the pharmacy - I believe he's a tech. (Store number 1116 - I'll also be following up with the corporate office). He didn't look at me or address me in any way as he changed paper in his register and then after about two minutes of literally being a foot from him he said: "name" but he still hadn't even graced me with his eye contact. I answered his questions including name and date of birth, again, he still hadn't made any eye contact. After I answered, I said "and good morning to you too". He wasn't amused. He just raised one eyebrow and for the first time, made eye contact, from an upward gaze. He told me to follow prompts for the prescription on the screen. One of the questions was about agreeing to get notifications via email/text. Two buttons appear "I agree" and "print info". I told him that I mistakenly made the wrong selection and that I didn't want to agree to getting notifications. He wrote a phone number down to call. I asked him to back out of the purchase so that I could not "agree" and he wouldn't. He just said over and over that it would just print the number. I tried to explain that by proceeding, after selecting that I agree, it would continue as an agreement and I didn't want to. He kept saying, like a broken, annoyed record, the same thing. I told him he was unwilling to listen to what I saying and he said "and so we are proceeding with this transaction". I felt like I was totally wrecking his day by even being there. And so now, he was going to try to wreck mine. What a jerk. He was condescending, rude, unprofessional, and acted WAY mightier than me, the little pesky customer. I'm not sure who gave him that inflated sense of self, but it's not doing him or anyone else any favors. I'm having my prescriptions transferred to Walgreens, where I'm sure someone will make eye contact, say good morning, and treat me like a human being with compassion and human dignity. When people pick up prescriptions, he has no idea what they are going through. His arrogance is not appreciated in that moment. I think he missed the day in pharmacy class where they teach respect and kindness. read more

This CVS is a fairly new location, tucked into the corner of the Perkins Rowe shopping area. The store is clean, organized and easy to navigate. I rarely have to wait in a long line, and it's very convenient to stop here while doing other shopping or dining at the nearby shops. Not sure what else you rate a big-box chain drugstore on, but I have no complaints. read more

The pharmacy is great. However, there was a glitch today with a photo order and rather than trying to help, the manager was unacceptably rude. There is apparently a problem with orders sent from a photo website other than cvs, which is understandable, but the managers behavior was infuriating and should not be tolerated. read more
