Not only do they serve up a perfect cappuccino, but they also pride themselves on roasting their own beans, and that attention to quality really shows in every sip. The barista was knowledgeable and professional, and the outdoor seating was comfortably shaded even during midday. Parking was easy, too. Had a very large coffee order here and the employees were so kind and helpful! They got our almost 10 drinks ready in just a few short minutes and everything was delicious! Magnificent coffee cafe. I don't love the location, nor the parking arrangement. Using the Yelp directions, Google Maps sent me to a hotel instead. More than once. I had to call and ask for the address. I tried explaining the issue to the staff, but it seemed to work for them. Anyway, if you have a similar issue, search for Skywater Apartments instead and you'll find this place easily. Great coffee, great Baristas, great atmosphere. The bathroom is totally weird - you've got to travel through the building mail section to get there. Okay, in all honesty, there are a few things to criticize. Fantastic breakfast! I had gone for a long walk and found myself pretty hungry. I ordered an original burrito with no potatoes. This did not disappoint. It was served with two packets of Cholula. It was hot and fresh made. It was absolutely what I needed. There was crunch bacon bits and just so much flavor. I also had a cortado that was fantastic. For a road snack I grabbed some of their peanut butter bites. These were also perfectly sweet and delightful. The location was clean, not too big or not too small. It was very modern and I really liked the big windows. I would definitely come back to try more of the foods. Best service ever as well - just friendly and bright. Friendly staff and quick service. I really loved the Espresso Honey Cinnamon Shaker, smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. I was obsessed with their banana bread, but sadly was told they'll no longer be carrying it. That was always my main reason for coming, so I might not be returning as often. This shop is located on the first floor of the Skywater at Town Lake apartment complex, and you have to park either to the side of the building or in the parking garage when you first arrive (the shop is located in the front of the building on the ground floor). Seating is mostly available inside the store. The baristas were very friendly and I got my drink quickly after I ordered! I got a latte with oat milk and honey, and I enjoyed my drink thoroughly. I also got a chocolate chip cookie made by Proof Bread, which I think was ok (kind of cake-y and not my favorite chocolate chip cookie in the area)? They also have free wifi available and a bathroom tucked away next to the mailroom. Overall, this is a great place to study or get work done with a cup of coffee. read more

Before visiting the Phoenix area, I asked friends for recommendations of restaurants, coffee shops and places to visit. Press appeared on the list several times so it was a no-brainer when we wanted coffee one afternoon. This location is on the main floor of an apartment complex. It's bright and airy, thanks to a wall of windows at the front. There are plenty of seating options, though we arrived very close to closing so we got our coffee to go. I ordered the espresso honey cinnamon shaker. It was delightful - not too sweet and the coffee flavor was still obvious. Too often with flavored or sweetened drinks, you lose all the coffee flavor and are basically drinking a milkshake. Not the case here. Even my husband, who generally dislikes flavored or sweetened drinks, agreed this was excellent. He had a cappuccino and an espresso, his standard order when trying a new coffee shop. He enjoyed both. I regretted not getting some whole beans while we were there, especially when we later learned that through complete coincidence, the family member we were visiting had also been to Press for the first time just a few days before us and was also at this location. The barista was wonderful. She was busy - there was a line the whole time we were there - but she was cheerful, kind and kept things moving for everyone. Highly recommend Press if you're in the area. Awesome coffee here and a nice interior to chill and read or computer things. The apartment complex is lucky to have this attached to their building. Very easy to access as well. Coffee is strong but has that nice roastiness to it that coffee lovers will be pleased about. I got a bag of it to go so I could brew at home and it's still the same as from the shop. Also got their fruit bar which is one of the tastiest pastries I've had, goes great with the coffee. Found out this is a chain of local shops in the Zona area. Press never disappoints. Definitely one of the better lattes in the valley. I always get an almond milk latte, and it's very smooth and buttery. It's a little too watery for my liking and that's my only gripe with it, but it's nothing that you'll be disappointed in. For a third-wave coffee place, this is one of the top ones in town. As for atmosphere, it's different because it's part of a building, but it's not like it's a problem! There are bathrooms and it's a very soothing vibe with great customer service. The girl who helped me (tall, skinny, blonde, don't remember name) took my order right before they closed and was really nice, too. Big fan of Press Coffee! read more

We wanted a coffee spot that served food, so this place fit the bill. I hadn't been to a Press Coffee before and this one looked neat from the exterior photo. There were several unmarked parking spots close to the street entrance and parallel spots in front of the shop itself. Loved the feeling of this location, felt like I was near a beach in California with the airy interior, glass walls, and blue wall paint. We noticed a sign outside for $7 breakfast sandwich and coffee combo, but turns out it's not a special/discount, as the coffee is $2 and the sandwich is $5. It's more on the expensive side here; I ordered a 12 oz mocha for $4.5 and a half caprese avocado toast for $6, making my total $11 something with tax and before tip. The drink was good, I added some cinnamon which always spices things up and the sandwich was good, but the balsamic vinegar was too much for me so I would probably get it without. It did have mozzarella and cherry tomatoes, so the extra $1 (compared to the traditional avocado toast at $5) was worth it to me. Ended up with the house espresso without milk--although I would've liked oat milk, they switched to Califa, and I can't say that it's equivalent to Oatly so I passed on it. Wished they had soy and not almond milk. The twitch espresso has a nice body and definite chocolate tones dominate. Sampled the cold brew which had a stout medium body, not very floral, so for those who like a darker, this is for them. read more

I had a lovely morning working from here! I am obsessed with their chocolate peanut butter shaker and after dropping some goodies off at a business nearby, I had to stop in and get my fix. It was super quiet on a Monday morning and I had plenty of distance from other guests to post up and get a few hours of work done. Their wifi worked great (even during a video call) and the gals working were so friendly. I love that it is near Tempe Town Lake; it has all around soothing vibes. I look forward to stopping at a Press every time I'm in Tempe to visit my son at ASU. The espresso is always outstanding, but this visit was special because they had Costa Rica William Mora on the bar. It is a delicious explosion of elderberry, kiwi and berry that is like candy. I always order a hot Americano in an 8oz cup and this one was truly memorable. All of the Press Coffees have a cool clean vibe including the Skywater location. The staff really knows what they are doing and were friendly. Highly recommend making Press a daily stop. read more

We went right at 7 and ordered food and coffee. No GF options. They wouldn't make anything without the bread. Once we got our food - they didn't have any flatware and the avocado toast needed a fork. If you serve food you MUST have flatware. Food wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. I asked for my latte in a mug but got it in a paper cup. I said 'no mug?' and the girls were all bothered like I shouldn't complain. Not a huge deal but I did ask for a mug specifically and was ignored. The employees were all really young and not very innovative when it came to problem solving. Deer- in the-headlights every time we asked a question. Parking is sparse.
