    Pour over, sampling coffee.

Excellent family owned establishment. They sell both coffee and chocolate. They roast their own coffee, and make their own chocolate. At the front is the coffee bar where you can sample their coffees and chocolates. In the back, are the roasters, office, and areas where they make everything. They were kind enough to provide a tour. The Midge Coffee Spread was delicious (coffee + cocoa butter). You mix it into hot milk or hot water and it's lovely and smooth. I also got the Cortez Primo Coffee Drops which were like coffee chocolate bon bons, very delicious, and 1 = a cup of coffee. Thank you Ron & Judith for a lovely visit!

Our Southwest flight was canceled so I quickly Yelped a nearby coffee place after a quick trip to Papago Park. This place is awesome! Ron, the owner, was very knowledgeable about all things coffee. It was a great way to end our Arizona trip and make the drive back to California. We ended up buying 2 cups of coffee, the garbanzo bean spread, the coffee spread, and two kinds of cacao nibs LOL. The garbanzo bean spread was my favorite :) We were caffeinated for our drive thanks to Cortez Coffee :)

Custom Coffee Roaster Ron Cortez has been in the coffee business for some time! Very good wholesale and retail coffee. We chatted about chasing the perfect cup of coffee for hours. He has both coffee and Chocolate and some teas. Plus beautiful porcelain pour over coffee makers. A nice coffee/espresso bar, very enjoyable experience!

Patrick and his father run a great shop, featuring Costa Rican and many other varieties of beans. Patrick gave us a nice tour of the roasting facilities, followed by tasting of a few different coffees (as pourovers). The team here is passionate and incredibly talented - from roasting and brewing, to chocolate and even photo-magazines. Definitely check out some of their coffees, and see if you can spot the La Marzocco car. We'll be ordered their beans for delivery in the near future!

Cascara latte, and a sweet cream cold brew are delicious. Can't wait to try something new next time I visit.

What can I say about this lovely place. It's not just some coffee stop to get a coffee fix then go about your day. There is more to it than that. It's a community surrounded by sweet people who love what they do. The owner and the people who work there put a smile on your face every sip you take. I enjoy a good cup of any sort of lattes, cold brews, hot teas, and many cups of coffee. I love the intoxicating aroma that fills a room on any type of day, I am having. Today, I was just my sleepy self exploring something new to try. I fell in love with the kindness I was received and the knowledge of how this cute place became to be. I enjoyed their free bananas I was offered. I will definitely put them to use. I also enjoyed their homemade chocolate. It's amazing!!! Just do yourself a favor and go try it for yourself.

What a great find! I just moved to the Valley and have been searching for a good cup of coffee. Cortez most definitely delivered just that. Pulling in you would never know a coffee shop was there if it were not for a flag that says "Coffee" on it, with some employees giving out free drip coffee. Not only did I get a free drip sample, Alex offered to let me sample some more. I had an espresso primo americano, the nepal drip, and a pour over of sumatra. Each one was delicious, with my favorite probably being nepal. Will definitely be coming back!

    They are the best!!!

Simply the best!! La mejor calidad en granos de café así como en taza!! No se pierdan de un solo detalle! Todo está lleno de arte. También encuentras el mejor chocolate de Phoenix! Y por supuesto, la atención es única!

In addition to coffee and tea, they serve pastries from Chacónne Patisserie and Noble Bread, which are both local legends. I stopped by Regroup Coffee on a random Saturday morning. The parking lot is small, but there were plenty of spots when I got there. I was greeted as soon as I entered. It was a pretty slow morning for the cafe, so it was quiet inside. Some of my favorite coffee in the valley, they use high quality coffee beans that really shines through in every drink- I love how their drinks are usually just subtly sweet and don't overpower the drink. I also love that they make some of their syrups in house, which really elevates the drinks they make. highly recommend the almond croissant if you're able to get one before they sell out, it's truly divine. Ive also tried their chai before, which was well spiced and balanced, the strawberry matcha is a great drink as well. I've also tried their protein slayer shake which was good (except i'm not the biggest fan of vegan protein powder). Looking forward to my next visit!

My only complaint is that they didn't have caramel for a caramel latte. I ended up getting an iced coconut caramel latte and it was $8 for 12 ounces, which seems extremely expensive for a small coffee. My daughter and I walked up to the counter ready to order, and I knew I wanted a mocha--but I wasn't completely sure. Hunter stepped right up to the register, already fired up and ready to help. I asked him, "Do you think I want a mocha?" and without hesitation he said yes! We both laughed, and then he suggested adding vanilla, which had me completely sold. Then he started talking to my daughter about a couple of other drink options, and wow--he had me reconsidering my whole order! My daughter reminded me that I don't like prickly pear, but Hunter kindly let me sample it anyway. Sure enough, I still didn't like it--but he made it sound so delicious and refreshing that I almost believed I would! We left already planning our next visit just to see Hunter again. If you get the chance to have an encounter with him, take it! He truly knows the products and how to market them. And most importantly--the drinks were excellent!!!

Even tho I'm a consistent helper, I always use Yelp to navigate a new city or to find the local places of the neighborhood I'm in. Lucky for me, it led me to Gio's organic coffee! I know the 414 Mill shops as I've been to the boutique shops in here many times. They're all new shops so it's worth stopping in. I love the waterfall courtyards inside. Check my photos! Gio had amazing coffee, shipped from Peru. The beans come from her family farm in Peru and they get shipped over the ocean and travel all the way to Tempe. It's quite amazing. They have lovely flaky pastries too. Quaint Seating inside and out. Very peaceful spot inside the shops. The coffee is amazing with a smooth rich flavor. Service is genuinely great: friendly, patient, and welcoming. Coffee is good, and the pastries are fresh and nicely presented, making it a solid stop for a casual coffee break or breakfast. You can tell they care about quality and customer experience. That said, the interior could feel a bit cozier. The white walls combined with the exposed steel appliances give the space a more industrial feel, which doesn't quite match the warm, intimate vibe the café seems to be aiming for. A change in wall color or softer finishes would make a big difference. When I visited, they were experiencing issues with the coffee machine. The staff handled it very kindly and professionally, but it did affect waiting time and efficiency -- especially considering there were only a couple of customers at the time.
