I really like the ambience and the set up of this place inside. Service is OK. The food is solid but nothing to worry home about what is expected ultimately a chain so I am not picky about that. I drove by this place for a week (staying in the hotel right behind it) when to wend to order dinner, they Popped up.. No, it's not just coffee. It's so much more. The place was lit with warm light, the decor was classy yet contemporary. The lady at the counter helped me figure out what I wanted from their vast menu. And everything was delivered to my table fast and friendly. When I bit into the "backyard bowl" my first thought was F- yeah! It was so good. Short rib, chicken, bacon, and avocado of rice with an egg on top. It tasted great! Too bad I leave at zero-dark 30 tomorrow or I would come back for breakfast. (Which is served all day). Love it. Delicious! So many choices it was tough to decide what to order. The "Health Nut" smoothie was excellent. Not too sweet yet definitely filling. For breakfast I got the Baruka with potato and scrambled egg. My wife really liked her iced chai latte and açaí bowl. Will definitely come again!! Highly recommend. read more

Another great Pressed Cafe experience a couple of weeks ago: Halva latte, peach and cream matcha latte, Jaffa salad and banh mi salad. The Lawrence restaurant is a bit smaller than some, but bigger on the inside than ai expected. This time the peach and cream matcha latte and Jaffa salad were the highlight. The peach and cream matcha was fresh and flavorful and the Jaffa salad tasty and generous enough for leftovers. The banh mi salad was a little too vinegary to really be like a banh mi flavor, I enjoyed the halva latte, but I guess having had the trendy tahini latte I was expecting something more nuanced with more flavors. My favorite Pressed dish remains the Jerusalem Mezze Plate though. So good. This was our first time eating in at this pressed. It was counter service where you get a number and they bring stuff to your table. They did check on us which was nice. I've found drive through service there a little confusing but definitely functional. I would do either again, but eating in was a nice change. read more

I ordered their fresh green juice and insisted on making it fresh. First, they gave me cold juice, and then when I asked them to make it fresh, they gave me half a bottle's worth of juice and filled the rest of the glass jar with foam. It looks like they threw the cold juice in the blender and gave it back. After I threw away the top foam, there was less than half a jar of juice left. Not worth $10 for this. We have a juicer at home, and it doesn't foam as much. Only the blender does :((. I'm never buying their fresh juice(which isn't fresh) again. read more

All I can say is thank God. The Merrimack area, especially in the North Andover/ Andover area has been a relative culinary wasteland for the midsize coffee shop that is making food with some imagination. I'm not trying to take anything away from some of the local coffee shops that exist. They all have solid food and accommodate a lot of of us. However, pressed is at a new level. The food has that extra flare that's hard to describe. There's ethnic dishes, health-conscious bowls and juices, clearly labeled gluten-free and vegetarian dishes, and some really great savory dishes for less health conscious. The service has been 100% spot on. In a restaurant this size, and this busy, that's pretty hard to do. I think I have visited this restaurant enough to know that the service is really reliable. I really liked this Pressed location when it first opened a few months ago, but recently I've noticed a decline. The last 3-4 times I've gone, something was wrong (either they left something out, like the side of chips that comes with their paninis, or they put on ingredients I asked them to leave out, small things like that). Nothing too major, but when you're paying $14+ for a sandwich, you expect it to be what you asked for of course! Last night I ordered a chipotle chicken panini, which is something I get pretty often. I was disappointed to find that it was cold (i'm talking 3-4 minutes after handing it to me) and had barely any chicken on it. It was also drenched in chipotle sauce (usually it's a lot less). Wow I kept hearing good things about Pressed Cafe and now I see why. We ate inside and it was really bustling. We were tight on time so concerned that we'd have a long wait but boy were we wrong! We sat immediately, had the complete attention of the bartender and another server, and ordered. The food came so fast that we thought it must not be ours! I have NEVER had such fast and great service. The food was really good too. We had the Spare Rib Mac & Cheese, a wrap, and a smoothie. All were big, freshly made, and quite tasty. We'll definitely be back! Oh and I didn't know about the drive-thru but it seemed very active and I think it's a great idea for the lunch crowds. Pressed Cafe in Lawrence just off I-495 Exit 100 on MA Route 114 is now open! On this recent visit, the drive-thru was open, but the dining room/inside ordering was still closed and getting ready to open soon. They offer mostly the same selections (no bar tapas/cocktails menu yet) as the other locations including coffee/espresso drinks, raw juice drinks, all day breakfast sandwiches/burritos, paninis, toasts, smashburgers, chicken sandwiches, smoothies, acai bowls, salads, soups, kids menu, and vegan menu. This Pressed Cafe has two drive thru ordering lanes, which channel into a single lane to the drive-thru pay & pickup windows. I stopped by the Pressed Cafe Lawrence drive-thru very recently and ordered my favorite Spanish Burrito ($10 plus tax). I paid at the first window after ordering and like the car in front of me, I was told to pull forward to the front curb. The wait was about 7 minutes after paying and a staff member walked outside to hand me my order. There is also outside patio seating on the backside of the building next to the drive thru lane. I enjoyed my Spanish Burrito which was securely paper wrapped and paper taped. The Spanish Burrito was wrapped in a soft flour tortilla filled with scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheddar cheese, sauteed peppers & onions, avocado, black bean spread & house made salsa. I am glad to see more Pressed Cafe locations are opening up in MA and NH and hopefully the Concord NH area near my office will get one soon. read more

I recently stopped by the new Pressed Cafe for a weekday lunch. The drivethru was open and not the inside dining (yet). I went with the Asian Veg Pad Thai and added chicken which was a $6.00 extra charge. The Pad Thai was ok with a sweet and salty taste and a moderate amount of mushy overcooked vegetables. I'm not an easy person to please, with very specific food requirements due to diabetes. I started with just getting my morning ice green tea but so many co-workers were raving about the food, I had to try it. It's truly impossible to get a bad meal, whether it's a sandwich, salad, bowl or beverage. My husband is an eater than I, loving carbs, meats, salt and flavors. I made him go with me. We are both now loyal customers! The cherry on top...staff are always exceptionally pleasant and make it a point to know your name. It's clean, warm and welcoming always. Try it... The food is quite good. I am missed about the fact that all the menus both online and in person lack prices! Yes, at the counter, you can ask how much the price of each item before ordering it, but one would like to see and compare prices before ordering. The prices have increased and now the serving bowls are smaller. I can get a much better meal, with better anbiance and less noise, for the same price, elswhere. Such a disappointment. The coffee is alright but the cappuccinos are pretty but tiny. There is only one size. The baked goods are also good but not the best. My biggest complaint is there are no prices. Not on signs or the menu. I realize this saves them money since menus don't need reprinting but I like to know. Just amazing. Their indoor operations just opened up yesterday so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted by the manager, Josh, who welcomed us in. The menu is extensive. I have ordered from there three times. I had the breakfast veggie burrito with egg whites. I was very impressed with the taste.
