    Açaí Bowl!!
    Phyllis A.

Love this place!! Great variety of healthy sweet options and friendly staff. Looking forward to their new location opening and hopefully parking will be better!! Only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because that parking is always a challenge!

Stopped in on a Sunday and had no problem with parking. Got the Berry Açaí bowl it was so good!! Definitely worth visiting!!

The pineapple soft serve is to die for!

The second I walked in the door I felt so welcomed! It is such a cute ice cream shop with an extensive menu of items I had never seen offered anywhere else before. I got the pineapple whip and it was phenominal. My boyfriend got the Apple Jacks infused ice cream with Carmel sauce and said that he loved it. Next time he wants to try it but with cheesecake flavored soft serve as the base instead. We will certainly be back soon! Glad to see that there is a nice family owned ice cream place in downtown.

This is exactly what downtown Haverhill needs. A quaint but jovial ice cream shop where you can walk in get your ice cream, leave and go around town or stay in and look at all of their vintage toys and memorabilia. The servings are great. You have the classic ice cream flavors and some of their creations as well. The girls working were super friendly. The ice cream itself was awesome. They also have delicious sorbet flavors that my boyfriend got and loved it. This might be my new favorite go to ice cream joint. I have no complaints! I hope this becomes a Haverhill staple.

This is my favorite place for acai bowls and smoothies! The Guava bowl is my absolute hand down favorite!! Fresh fruit, homemade granola, and toppings to your liking. The place is super clean and the owners and staff treat you like family! One of the best local businesses in Haverhill.

    Flavors!

Dar Rafiki's is a small bakery shop located in a corner of Dudley Plaza…read more Its windows are very colorful, Enter, and you come right up to the counter. There is a bench inside, and just enough room to walk around other customers without touching each other. They have croissants in two sizes (small and extra large), and a variety of shapes (croissants, cube, danish, bavarian puff). Seeing as whatever I purchased would have to sit in my trunk for a few hours, I avoided the dessert case with its tempting treats, and picked up one of their two cube offerings (Dubai Chocolate), a large Almond Croissant, a pistachio bavarian puff, a lemon danish, and two chicken pastillas dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon. I read that another Yelper suggested freezing some treats, so one chicken pastilla and the lemon danish are currently hibernating. I toasted the other chicken pastilla up and discovered that the crisped up phyllo sheets made the powdered sugar jump everywhere, so my suggestion is - cut first into bite size pieces, toast, then put a piece entirely in your mouth before chewing, in order to avoid the mess. It was good, but I have a first ever core memory that this version did not hit. The bavarian puff, almond croissant and cube were all well filled, yet none were too sweet. The croissant dough was tender at room temperature, and warm and buttery when toasted for a few minutes. *** When toasted back up from the deep cold, the lemon filling had the sweet-tart I was expecting, while the pastry was terrific.

The pastry chef is a genius. He has mastered the ability to balance flavors and keep everything light. Even the savory items are perfection, I had the spinach & feta and ran back to buy 3 more to go. The food is also excellent, not too overpowering, not too salty, just perfect. There is no seating and the plaza is a dump. The benefit is that the cheaper rent helps keep costs down, everything is reasonable

Came across a video of their chicken schwarma wrap and decided to gove it shot and i tell you $18 wrap had me fumming at myself but the wrap was amazing and size nice as well and not those tinny tiny ones. While waiting i asked if they kept falafels as was not on menu and he is like sure so i ordered some since my wife loves them. While waiting for falafels i was munching on the wrap and it was so good. Grilled with sauce and sesame seeds and all I took the falafels but they were so fresh and hot that i had to try them in the car and they were most unique tasting in good way and were really amazing. Overall made me a fan but hoping no price increases due to popularity otherwise at steep price as it is now it will be little out of affordable category

This is my husband's favorite handheld in the area. He doesn't like pickles but he likes it in the wrap! The service is very friendly, and they also sell some baklava. Mostly street parking (or as I said make-your-own street parking). For me personally the French fries make the wrap a little too heavy - don't get me wrong, it's still delicious but I might try getting a different wrap and asking for the habibi sauce on the outside to see if it's more balanced for me. The sleeper hit was the 1/2 chicken - completely butterflied and roasted in a crazy flavorful spice mix and served on top of French fries and pita with toum inside (plus a side of toum and habibi). It's like a deconstruction special wrap, but the chicken is insane and way better than the chunks. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different! There's only three seats inside so not great for dine-in, but when they said we were eating inside, they offered to cut our wrap in half and served it on two paper plates with napkins plus a little stick of gum for afterwards! I thought that was such a thoughtful touch!

The first impression is nice as the place is inviting with nice light and a good deal of indoor seating. They also have lots of menu items and a good pastry selection. I ordered a latte and a pastry. I was not expecting the elongated wait time to receive my coffee. I have been to dozens of cafes, here and abroad, and I honestly can't recall ever waiting so long for a coffee. They seemed to have a lot of staff. Anyway, it did take some time and in the end, It turns out the coffee is average - not great but certainly not awful. The pastry was very good. I ordered the "blueberry cheesecake" latte with cheesecake cold foam, but it was essentially flavorless. The espresso itself was great, but there was no noticeable blueberry or cheesecake flavor at all. The cheesecake cold foam also had no cheesecake flavor at all, and tasted like the cream may not have been fresh, which was especially disappointing given how it was described. For nearly $10, I expected much better from the wrap as well. Inside of the wrap were two egg "pucks". The eggs seemed like they were microwaved, and instead of fresh bacon, it had low quality bacon bits. Service aside, the cost and quality alone would have been enough to make this a disappointing experience.
