Pressed cafe used to be my number 1 location to go to for lunch. Recently they have been careless and not paying attention to the order slip. I have a gluten allergy and clearly state ALLERGY - GLUTEN and choose a GF wrap. The past two times I have not received a GF wrap. The first time I caught it and brought my take out order back inside to show one of the employees and get it fixed. Waiting an additional 10 min. The second time I didn't realize they substituted my GF wrap for a standard wrap. It's an allergy and why I clearly state it as additional notes. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION - I write allergy on my orders because it is not a choice for me. read more

The mark of a great place to eat is not that everything is always perfect. It's how they resolve the issue when something isn't perfect. I am a regular at Pressed Cafe and enjoy the food, drink, and great service. Today I had the Shakshuka which is usually fantastic. When it came I noticed the eggs were over cooked. I was a little disappointed, but honestly it was still pretty delicious. When the waiter stopped by to check on us, I mentioned the eggs were a little overdone, but otherwise it was fine. A manager (Ennis) came over immediately, looked at my meal, agreed the eggs were over cooked and said another order would be out shortly that was correct. I told him that was not necessary, but he said " yes, it was". The new order came out fast and was perfect. I left full and happy! I will be back tomorrow for breakfast! read more

I met my daughter at Pressed cafe in Newton and we had never heard of it but Yelp gave it great reviews. We both had the Acacai bowls which was absolutely delicious and plentiful. We also grabbed a juice and homemade granola bar which was so good. The ambience was cool too. Later in the day I was with a friend in Burlington and we wanted a late lunch and I went on Yelp and lo and behold there was a pressed cafe so we went for lunch. I had a salmon protein bowl which was yummy and plentiful and the iced tea was fresh. The servers were so attentive and friendly while picking up our dishes. Awesome ambience. I can't wait to go again and try new things on the menu. Check it out! It's worth it! read more

Within 24 hours of my previous review in which I expressed concern with the overly loud music, I received a note from the manager in which he said the sound had adjusted later that night and sound absorbing material had been added to the dining room. I wanted to post specifically because I got the Vegan Jaffa Salad, which someone else recently had a bad review of. I'm guessing it was an off day because mine was great! It had lots of stuff in it, everything as advertised and was very flavorful. I would order it again. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think the prices are too high. I went to pressed because there are many vegetarian options. But this is the 3rd time that they have messed my order. This time they put fish in the home fries. They said that they had no idea how it happened. But it seems like they quite frequently put the wrong ingredients in the food. So disappointing since it's supposed to be vegetarian friendly. I am a new convert to this place for Breakfast and enjoy the service, selection and quality. We always eat outside and never a problem. We decided to give dinner a shot . The Reuben and potato salad was delicious and ample. We also decided to try the bar. I was taken aback when the old fashioned came on at $18.00 with Makets Mark. Pressed offers delicious, healthy choices for vegans. Sadly, they no longer offer the best thing on their menu, the Vegan Reuben. Their Vegan Reuben tastes just like a real Reuben without any of the health, environmental, or animal welfare negatives. Prior to going vegan, my favorite sandwich was the Reuben. I understand from the nice people at Pressed that the Vegan Reuben was only a temporary special offering, but when you have the ability to make something that good, why not add it to your permanent menu? read more

Shakshuka is my favorite....just can't get up and go, it's so delicious and filling. The Detox juice is really refreshing.

Coffee was AMAZING. Will definitely be trying more of their food once this is all over.

Really wanted to like this place but our experience was mediocre at best. Went for breakfast - the food was just so so, and their pressed juices are $8 a pop which seems a bit high.
