Pressed is usually excellent, but I've noticed that they've gotten sloppy lately. I placed an order for 3 of us. I got a ham & cheese sandwich which didn't include mustard. Who makes a ham & cheese without mustard?? Blandest sandwich ever. I requested barbecue chips, got billed 50 cents for it, but didn't get the chips. By the time we realized they shorted us the chips, we were on the road. I guess their golden days are past them. There are better choices. I'll miss the "old" Pressed with their flavorful sandwiches and excellent order management. read more

We had an excellent lunch experience with a delivery order from their Newton, MA location. We had a Kids Cheese Quesadilla ($8), a Single Pressed Hamburger ($7.75), a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel ($8), a Coconut Curry Bowl ($14), and an Egg White Breakfast Burrito. My Coconut Curry Bowl was great, and pretty close to anything I get at a Thai restaurant. The bowl was loaded with Roasted Carrots, Broccoli, Zucchini, Summer Squash, Red and Green Peppers, Grilled Onions, Pineapple, Spicy Fresno Chili, Cilantro, Lime, House-Made Spicy Coconut Curry Sauce and was served with a side of White Rice and a whole grain pita bread. I added in a rock-bottom $1 surcharge for some grilled chicken cubes. It was a big portion and half of it went in the fridge for the next day. The Pressed Café's menu is very deep with Daily Specials Burgers and Chicken sandwiches, Coffees Smoothies, Raw Juice & Tonics, Acai Bowls, Breakfast All Day(!), Salads & Soup, Kids Meals, Paninis, Signature Bowls, a Vegan Menu, and plenty more. I want to preface by saying I made a very brief stop here on my way home from Boston, so I'm not sure I gave this spot the chance it truly deserves. However, I wasn't overly impressed with their matcha, which had a very earthy, sort of off flavor, even after hearing such great things about their drinks. On the other hand, I've also been told their food is exceptional (specifically their breakfast burritos which I am dying to come back and try), and they have an extensive menu of dishes ranging from breakfast to lunch to desserts to baked goods and snacks. Truly, everything on their food menu sounded fabulous, and I intend on giving them a second chance soon! As for the interior, it's very spacious and bright but definitely felt a little busy. Despite this, their service is quick and efficient. Another reason I'd love to come back for a longer stay. Overall, my first experience here wasn't the greatest, but it's not entirely at the fault of the establishment, so I'd still say to give them a shot! read more

After a basketball session at the YMCA a friend took our team to the this cafe so that we can try the açaí bowl. The açaí bowl is like no other!!! Indeed it is one of the best I've had in spite of having grown up with them in California. I was so surprised! I recommend the classic açaí bowl! Friends and I have agreed that this particular time there were more grain than actual açaí than expected. Apparently that is usually not the case so just be aware of the proportions :) We went around late morning, early afternoon and saw a lot of families. Highly recommend going here for a good brunch! The place can get quite busy, but if you don't mind you can walk in to grab a seat at the bar. The menu is huge and can get pretty overwhelming (in a good way). All the items we got was great, including blueberry Palmer cocktail and Tel Aviv tuna panini. We also tried their bananas ube foster cold brew & it was amazing! It's a seasonal drink and it's not on the menu (at least when we went), so would suggest asking about it. Parking is not an issue they have a big parking they share with other vendors . It does get full on weekends. However they have lots of staff so the line moves quickly. I am fortunate to have this location so close to home . This is the best place for smoothies in my area as well . They are filling . Also made fresh in front of you , if you like too , watch , lol. What a menu! Right up my alley. It is actually good and bad because you want to try EVERYTHING! I am bummed because I was only visiting, so I'll probably not have the chance to return for a while. I'm glad to have visited! This location is cool. Parking was a little limited, but we were able to get a spot after a little bit. Went on a Tuesday late afternoon, wasn't over packed, but definitely had a nice crowd. We were able to find a seat... was probably just a couple left. Ordering was friendly and easy. You order at the counter, I'm glad that is still with an actual person and not a screen. They bring your food to you.. they also remove your items, and pack your items if needed. I was in the mood for some protein, so I chose the Backyard BBQ Protein Bowl that was packed with it. Very tasty.. ribs, chicken, bacon, avocado, quinoa, egg... I had to ask for extra BBQ sauce on the side to sauce it up a bit. It was filling and fresh. I love their cocktail menu. Will definitely look to try the next time I'm in town. read more

Got the spicy unicorn burger x 2 (for the sides I got a pasta salad and a potato salad), braised beef poutine, and buffalo cauliflower. I ordered online and walked in to pick up. I stopped in on a Tuesday for lunch and the place was packed. Despite this my order was taken quickly and ready for me to go within less than 10 minutes. I ordered their daily special chicken tandoori panini, a regular Mac n cheese, iced matcha, and side of hummus. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because the hummus was A+, the matcha was pretty standard but they did add a lavender flavor for me, the fries were excellent and I liked that they included ketchup without me having to ask for it. The Mac n cheese was overdone, certainly not al dente and not worth the $12 cost. The sandwich was extremely disappointing with dry chicken and a big piece of gristle for my first bite . The onions did not taste pickled to me so they did not pickle them for long enough to add any extra flavor base. I might return to give them another shot but would probably not try another daily special and certainly not anything with chicken. read more

Non-trivially good for you. Nothing mass produced or fast food feeling. The menu is not massive but it is large enough to give you real choices for lunch. If you ate here five days a week every week, you would not have to repeat a dish until well into your second or third month. This is a decent choice for business meetings too ... The bowl had an overwhelming smoky flavor throughout - like it was dowsed in liquid smoke. We got the spicy greek, challah French toast and pistachio lattes. The French toast was perfect- and I'm not a big French toast person. The flavor was great and it was good portion. The pistachio latte was INCREDIBLE. I would drive here just for this drink... it had real pistachios in it! The place was very clean and well kept, the staff were kind and accommodating. We had sent our food back because we thought they made a mistake- but it turns out we read the description wrong. They still were very kind and willing to take the food back and remake our burritos even though they didn't have to. Some of breakfast favorites are the breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and acai bowls. At lunch the salads have so many great toppings and the paninis as well. Loved pressed. Everything is fresh and so tasty. The fresh juices are plentiful and so yummy. I prefer the bowls so I haven't tried the sandwiches yet. The menu is pretty diverse. You can get bowls and salads and panini and so many other things. It's honestly hard to choose. The bread is so fresh and so delicious. Even their baked goods are tasty. My only complaint is the price. You can tally a hefty bill for a place that is counter service. You can easily pay over $50 for two people. If you get a bowl plus a juice you're looking at $25 a person. Everything is fresh so the price is kind of justified. I don't think I could eat here too often without impacting my budget.
