I told her that I wanted her to focus on shoulders and neck and that equated to a lot of rolling with her hands and oil in that area rather than slow intentional attention on that area working out the kinks. Toward the middle of my 90 minute massage she kinda settled in and I was able to relax. Overall, it was nice but it was far from the best massage I have had and a majority of the massages I have had were at a massage school in my hometown. Would I go again? Yes, I would. She intuitively knew exactly what I needed and proceeded to make my entire body feel much better. I'm disabled with a titanium cage and damage nerves that caused many problems for me. One of my friends didn't really enjoy hers because it seemed like her masseuse wasn't very experienced. She had to keep asking for more pressure, and the lower body was almost skipped because most of the focus stayed on the upper body. She left pretty disappointed. She didn't get any stretch that she requested for and even the upper body massage was very disappointing. My other friend also didn't have the best experience either so I do think it really depends on who you get. Out of the four of us, two would rate it a 4/5, one would rate it a 3/5, and one would rate it a 2/5. Angela is actively helping me learn to be more in tune with my body and where it holds tension and that is a huge development for me. The signature oil diffuser they have out at this location is delicious and immediately bathes you in calm when you enter. The front desk is always informational, helpful and prompt. The changing room, restroom, shower, lockers, and quiet room are in perfect condition and constantly being cleaned up and restocked. There are plenty amenities and products available for use in the changing room and a few snacks, a magazine, and cold water in the quiet room. You are treated with a tea or other beverage (never paid attention because I'm all for the tea but maybe a wine or a sparkling wine?) before and after your service.
