Everything from start to finish is a curated and intentional experience designed to truly relax and comfort you. Everyone I have interacted with thus far is so professional, kind and gentle. Angela is an incredible masseuse. She is sincere, knowledgeable, skilled and makes an effort to remember you. I've done one body dry brush and massage treatment and one 50 minute Swedish massage and both were lovely. The 2 hour treatment obviously takes the cake but the massage is so targeted and thorough. Angela is actively helping me learn to be more in tune with my body and where it holds tension and that is a huge development for me. The signature oil diffuser they have out at this location is delicious and immediately bathes you in calm when you enter. The front desk is always informational, helpful and prompt. The changing room, restroom, shower, lockers, and quiet room are in perfect condition and constantly being cleaned up and restocked. There are plenty amenities and products available for use in the changing room and a few snacks, a magazine, and cold water in the quiet room. You are treated with a tea or other beverage (never paid attention because I'm all for the tea but maybe a wine or a sparkling wine?) before and after your service. You receive 15% off your next session if you book again while checking out. There are seasonal specials and packages if you want to opt for more than one service as well. Oh, did I mention the massage beds are heated and they provide you a warm, weighted neck/shoulder wrap after your service? They've truly thought of everything. I really enjoyed my experience at Woodhouse Spa. I got the Soothe and Hydrate facial with a dermaplane add-on and the Restorative Sleep massage. Both were fantastic! The changing rooms were very clean and nicely stocked with everything you need. The entire spa had a beautiful ambience and I felt very relaxed. Everything was wonderful from the time I walked in the door. Check in was easy and the receptionist was super friendly. Upon checking in I was offered a beverage, tea, water of sparkling white wine. I was asked to use an iPad to sign some documents and found the set-up of the iPad to be cumbersome and frustrating. I was taken to the changing room, given a robe, slippers and a locker. The bathroom was filled with toiletries and was clean. After, I was taken to their "sitting room". This room elegant, ornate chairs, fancy pillow and a small area for snacks and lemon water. I chose to have a cup of tea and flip through some of the magazines. My massage was amazing! I was disappointed with this place, with the 195 dollars I sent I was looking forward to a cool experience. But ment with disappointment. The rooms for relaxing in the beginning are all very small, both where you get changed and where you wait, in like milk and honey spa that I've tried there waiting room atmosphere was crowded. When I went to get my facial I was exited for all my treatments, but while each treatment was setting on my face there was no neck or shoulder massage so l was just sitting there for 20 mins of my time, my lady just got on her phone during that time. For 195 dollars I would expect a light massage while each treatment sat. Sadly I will not be coming back here, and would recommend different places read more

Woodhouse day spa is luxurious and very relaxing. I have been here several times now ever since I first received a gift card from a friend a couple years ago. I have brought my husband here and mother in law and everyone loves it! I do miss pre-covid environment because everyone got a robe and sandals to change into and had access to the quiet room. If you schedule more than one service, you would be offered a robe and sandals, but the quiet room with tea and snacks is still closed. I look forward to post covid relaxation! Deep tissue massages are probably my favorite service here followed up by the signature seaweed peel pedicure. I don't remember my masseuse for the massages, but she was strong and kind. Tabitha did my pedicure and she was superb. I think she performed a small miracle on my feet. She turned my rough, calloused feet into beautiful, soft feet! She also painted my toe nails perfectly. I haven't experienced a facial here yet, but I sent my husband there and his skin looked so much better afterwards. I highly recommend signing up for their emails to know when they are having deals on services. They offer discounts on gift cards or offer free add ons to your booking. I love woodhouse day spa! This place is the bomb! Normally, I don't spend $130 on a massage, but the entire experience was elevated and had lots and lots and lots of little perks that I didn't even know about. For starters, they offer you a beverage from a large menu before you even begin that they do not charge you for. Tons of fancy teas and wine etc. Then you have your own private area to lock up your belongings in and get changed into the world's most luxurious robe. I totally wanna buy one. I did ask when we left and they're 120... I think that would be worth it. I literally did not want to take it off. Anyways, you sip your tea in a beautiful, very relaxing Zen lounge while you wait for your masseuse to come and get you. The massage was fantastic and at the end of it again you were offered another beverage. We were told we could sit in the lounge for as long as we wanted it afterwards. So we sat there in our cozy robes with our after Massage beverage and just visited. They brought these warm pads that wrapped around your neck afterwards that really elevated everything also. First visit to this posh spa yesterday. Checked in and was shown where the quiet room was and next to it the women's locker room. Was offered a beverage of water, hot tea, oj or champagne. I opted for an 110 minute Swedish massage which was blissful. Time sure does fly when having fun. After the massage a warm "ill call it rice buddy" was put around my neck and I was told I could relax in the quiet room as long as my heart desired. It wasn't cheap - $230 for 110 minutes but I'm worth it! Parking was easy and free. The spa was super clean. Dana was amazing, the only reason I am leaving a star. I really love wood house as I used to go to the location in Walnut Creek often. I even raved about it here to other friends before even stepping into the spa because I've loved my previous experiences at other locations. But when I came on a Saturday afternoon. I was told there were no robes, I was shown to a quiet room in my clothes and belongings to wait for my massage. There weren't glasses for the water and when my tea was delivered it was in cold water so the tea wasn't steeping. I can't believe I'm leaving any type of review because I usually don't speak up when a service isn't what I expected, but I was SO surprised. Dana was AMAZING, so kind and even tried to look for a robe for me. After my massage I loved to relax and lounge in the quiet room but when I was done, I still had my belongings as I wasn't shown to the locker room so I sat awkwardly as other couples who had robes chatted in the quiet room. I wanted a hydra facial and I looked on the actual website for hydra facial, and Woodhouse was listed. There were a lot of dermatology offices, and I really just wanted more of a spa like environment. I got exactly that at Woodhouse! This place is lovely. You walk up to two wooden doors with iron handles and those lanterns outside. It looked really regal and European. When you walked in, they had iPads for you to sign in and look at the menu. They also had lots of beauty products you could purchase. It smelled spa like but not overbearing in there. It actually is quite large as well and looks fairly new. The only bad thing about the space is the location. It is in that university Drive area that is still under severe construction. Also, an accident happened right before I was about to exit which caused a delay. Nevertheless, they did not hold that against me or any of the other late people given that you almost had to bypass the University exit. I was shown to a lovely locker room that wasn't massive like giant hotel spas, but wasn't small like some day spas. It was beautiful. The robes were comfy. The slippers were nice. I can't say enough about just the ambience of the place how clean it was there. The waiting room was nice and Spa like. I didn't get to sit in there for a long time until after my facial, but they offered you drinks, and that was quite delightful as well. I had a wonderful facial with Amy. I actually had seen Amy before at another place years ago that I used to go to for spa treatments. The hydra facial was the bomb. My face is literally glowing! I was a little self-conscious, leaving because I was a little glossy, but everyone asked me about my skin when I left, and I felt like this facial put the moisture back in that was being depleted from our winter weather conditions. There is nothing inexpensive about this place, so be prepared to pay for the treatments and any boost that they offer you. I went in knowing that this was going to be costly, but again I needed a facial. I tend to get more massages because I don't like facials as they make me feel cold, and I just don't like them. I like the results but I don't like facials. So the results of this one are amazing and I definitely will go back and try some more of their different facials to lock in. What is my favorite one. I didn't knew what a massage was! As soon I got in and change my clothes for that robe all of my problems fade away. The place is immaculate! I was in aw with the decor and design. The ambiance has this crisp and clean aroma that fixed literally our mood. We made reservation for two. And chose the "couples retreat" package. Our technicians Coco & Miranda guide us kindly and very professional the whole moment. And that gave an accent to our whole experience. So much so that I even snored meanwhile I was being massaged lol. And the sad thing was that I was well awake when it happened (God have mercy) lol. After the massage was done. Our technicians offered us some beverages options and walked us to the waiting area. Here they also have some small snacks, nothing fancy. The area was beyond comfortable. With soft lighting and a sound system that blow any stress residuos that I might had left in me. The experience set me for an amazing rest of my day! Now back to the price. I Booked the deep tissue massage. It was very inconsistent with pressure and one of the worst massages I have ever had. She massaged one side at a time on my back. There was never a fluid movement with both hands on my back. The areas I indicated that needed the most attention were not addressed. Afterwards in the lounging area, the girls I was with were given warm neck wraps. I came out last and was given a cold one. We asked if they had any warm ones. Just moved here from CA. My friend flew in so we planned a treatment. We have had treatments done all over the US. We tried the Shirodhara Scalp Massage for 50 min. Pros: ambiance is great, clean, calming, dim, have infused water in the wait room along with some nut/berry mixes to snack on. They offered champagne after the treatment. There are plenty of treatment rooms so they can accommodate more appointments. Treatment specialists were nice, explained the treatment, no pressure selling at the end. Cons: You can't really do a "spa day" here. They have a waiting room but no jacuzzies, steam rooms, or saunas. They have (1) shower available for use and (2) toilets in the women's locker room (small). Front desk offered robes and slippers but said it would eat into our time since we were 5 min late. We opted out due to that. Shirodhara Scalp Massage: $125 for about 5-10 minutes of "massage". Majority of this time you are laying down with oil dripping on your forehead. It feels nice but I thought they would provide a scalp massage during this time. They rub your scalp and neck only for a few minutes after the oil is finished dripping on your head. So for the price, not worth it. Overall I would try another massage at this spa at another time since it was so nice inside and I think I just did the wrong treatment the first time. read more

I have been to Woodhouse twice now and I liked it. I'd go back again. That being said I was disappointed in the locker room. I went to take a shower after three treatments and I was sad to find that the shower room had a hand held wand, no where to hold it and shower gel but no shampoo. They offer brushes and oil scalp treatments, so one would assume this would be a normal item to offer- not the case. I also felt like there was a constant option to upgrade and be "sold"- I'd prefer it on the front end vs naked in the room and being offered upgrades. The checkout process if you upgrade was horrible for me each time. I booked a spa day both times and then they offered upgrades- scalp massage, hydro facial, another special facial and each time the check out was painful. My suggestion is this- offer the upgrades when we book at X number of dollars more. Add shampoo and conditioner and a nice shower to your locker too. read more
